The tutorial even states it’s a LIMITED tutorial and you will learn the more advanced parts of the game with play… except the game play is totally static with no learning curve, so the advanced functions and parts of the game are impossible to reach....
EARTH DEFENSE FORCE: IRON RAIN (Updated Review) Now after ~50 hours, I still can’t recommend this game. EDF Iron Rain is a decent game, but is an awful EDF game. This game is a downgrade from EDF 5 and a sidegrade from EDF 4.1 so get either game instead. I would recommend EDF 5 since 5 is an upgrade from 4.1. Aliens versus Predator Classic 2000 Before Halo, Call of Duty, and other new-school shooters that currently saturate the FPS market, there was the old school. I’m talking about games that kept the same spirit as Wolfenstein 3D, like the Doom series, Duke Nukem 3D, Half-Life, the Quake series, and Unreal. If you lived through this time, you know what I’m talking about. These games are representative of a peak in shooters in that their challenge, length, and fun depended on gameplay alone—no cutscenes that pad the game time, no predictable plot elements, and no exploitative glitches that most new school gamers use in games today....
D-Corp When we were offered this key, we honestly didn’t know what to expect–we’d beaten the heck out of Overcooked and Dungeon Defenders before, and this seemed similar, but we were skeptical. Welp, WE WERE WRONG. This game hooked us quick and DIDN’T LET GO–it’s sci-fi a cousin of Overcooked with an emphasis on harvesting and defending, and couples will especially love this one and will probably find it a lot less frustrating than others in the genre....
Aliens: Fireteam Elite Fun and well designed cooperative games have been hard to come by for me as of late. I’ve tried sinking my teeth into a few of them over the years, only to be disappointed by shoddy mechanics and plodding gameplay. But then out of nowhere… two of them that were created in the 3rd person perspective eventually shot out of the dark and surprised me. Those two games coincidentally were 3-player arranged coop games titled Remnant: From the Ashes and now of course Aliens: Fireteam Elite....
