Chickens Madness Bought this looking for something fun to play with the 4 yo in front of the TV. Pretty clunky and unfinished to begin with, the lastest update has tightened up some problems with the controls and added a bunch of game modes. The kid loves it - there’s some charm to the game, but a couple of things sour it. 1. The violence - one mini game involves squashing baby chicks into bloody spots - not really enjoyable and adds a nasty tinge to the otherwise family friendly fun, sure you can skip/remove from the list but wouldn’t miss it if it was removed....

Micro Mages Another Kickstarter backer here, I have been looking forward to this game for months. Micro Mages is a Nintendo NES game in 40KB, which was the size of a standard NES ROM cartridge when the NES was first released (and the same size as the original Super Mario Bros launch title). Later NES games would take advantage of techniques like bank switching to use bigger ROMs. At the time of writing Morphcat has only put the game trailer on the Steam store page, not their other far more popular video which shows exactly how they fit the game into 40KB....

Disobedient Sheep This game is completely mad and great fun in local multiplayer, especially with my young kids - it’s simple enough for them to enjoy and doesn’t really matter if you play it well or not. It becomes complete mayhem with several dangerous items appearing or about to appear as you try to guide or bark the sheep away from danger! The different play modes are fun, the visuals are bright and appealing, the music suitably frenetic and some cheesy voice acting is a nice addition....

Vertiginous Golf This game is really pretty cool. It’s a minigolf game with a really cool fantasy-esque atmosphere and neat little contraptions all over. You build up power with swings and can use either a rewind button or a little jet thingie on your ball to move it slightly where you want. At first it seems like rewind is incredibly OP but the game gets fairly challenging and fairly fast. To the point it might even get a bit frustrating to some people....

Tsuro - The Game of The Path It’s like a holiday for your mind… It’s really is. Sign of Silence honestly a really great game for the stage its at people expect too much for an unfinished game but its great if your into the horror survival escape, yes i have found a few bugs myself like duping items and being able to climb things i should and shoot myself up things really fast and push myself through certain things but im sure this will all be deal with....
