Very good puzzle, I’m afraid there are only 7 scenes left and I only have 40% of the battery, I need finish before the battery runs out! A great experience and I think I will have a great ending!

Simple and effective artstyle and storytelling.

I’m not in the middle of the game yet, and had to come and recommend this game.

3D Jigsaw Puzzle Simulator

3D Jigsaw Puzzle Simulator

I liked the 3d feel to this game. It is really a unique game the way pieces can be picked up, overlapping, and even upside down. Sometime pieces will fall on the floor instead of the table and you will need to navigate to pick them up. Strangely enough I enjoy the challenges of placing pieces. However, the update in the spring kind of broke the enjoyment because the graphics look like you are putting together a quilt instead of a puzzle. The borders are too distracting so it is difficult to know which piece goes where. If development can provide the option so the graphics clearly transition to the next piece as before I would make this my favorite puzzle game. Right now it is borderline to recommend the game because of the quilt appearance, but do like the developers ingenuity.

The Answer Is 42

This minimalist puzzle is a must for anyone who really wants to know where their towel is. It’s almost as entertaining as your plastic pal who’s fun to be with – you’ll get no pains in the diodes down any side with this one. I feel sure that the Syrius Cybernetics Corporation would thoroughly recommend this game’s replayability, as it remembers where you are yet forgets what you’ve done.

The Lord knows that you can’t disagree with it on price; it’s an absolute bargain.

So to be honest… Simple graphics, simple idea… Just get 42 in different combinations for each color and move to the next level right? Well, I think these kind of games are a bit more complicated than that and even though you are not going to spend hundreds of hours on this game, for it’s price… It’s a great game! Just a nice brain teaser whether you brute force it, find a different strategy or just find a hack :)

If you like simple games that will probably give you a few hours of fun (maybe less) go for it, it’s fun.

Hunted: Kobayashi Tower

Hunted: Kobayashi Tower

Brief Hunted Review

Come Out To The Coast, We’ll Get Together, Have A Few Laughs…

Hunted: Kobayashi Tower is a wonderful digital adaptation of a solitaire, dice chucking, push your luck tabletop game. This game allows me to relive the greatest feel good holiday movie of all time! My dream of being an 80s action hero is realized each time I enter Nakatomi Plaza Kobayashi Tower to save my wife Holly Sharon even though our relationship has been on the rocks lately. In each play-through, you are John McClane an unnamed hero with military training who thwarts a bunch of terrorists in a heroic endeavor to rescue the hostages and save your wife.

Ancient Go

Ancient Go

Early Access Day 1 review:

Edit: Thumbs up because it looks promising. (I’d hold off getting it until counting method issues are resolved, hopefully.)

Project seems promising. It includes basic tutorials for rules and scoring, a VS. AI mode and an Online multiplayer mode.

The AI is not particularly strong on any setting (Hard is when it starts playing slightly better moves, maximum tends to take a bit more time to play moves, but not a LOT of time.) So (at least at this stage) the AI is really meant for beginners. It would be nice to get a stronger one later down the line, but I’d rather see good multiplayer added than the focus be on AI.

“Ancient Go” aims to be an app for total beginners to Go, which is great. Currently, outside of “Ancient Go,” the only other app out there on Steam is “Crazy Stone Deep Learning -The First Edition-,” which is $79.99. However, “Crazy Stone” is arguably meant for committed Go players, who are much stronger at the game. So, “Ancient Go” is a cheaper alternative for “Crazy Stone” that allows the Steam community to start playing Go at a cheaper price. That said, “Ancient Go” has its strengths and weaknesses.

Too many bugs when using the undo button, such as some tiles becoming inaccessible, and sometimes it seems to undo a few moves at once at once (I’m not certain of this, but I sometimes notice that a few of my knights have somehow moved backwards on their own, which I assume was caused by me while undoing a different move), and when you move a piece onto a tile with a button and then undo the move, the effect of the button is reversed but the piece remains on the button. This game only allows you to undo one move per turn, so you can imagine how frustrating it can be when the undo button is as wonky as it is. This isn’t a problem for most levels, as this is a relatively easy puzzle game, but there is one particular level near the end that is significantly more complicated than the rest which I’ve been trying hard to solve, but the wonkiness of the undo button keeps forcing me to restart the whole level, which eventually led to me giving up on it.

Mini War - Three Kingdoms

Mini War - Three Kingdoms

More of a puzzle game, where you use weapon-named heroes to try and complete the objectives of each puzzle. Most of which require at least two play-thoughs of a puzzle. Those with some idea of Three Kingdom heroes may be able to associate weapons and heroes a bit easier. Recommend.

Slide Stories: Neko’s Journey

Slide Stories: Neko’s Journey

A Lovely, Soothing Collection

Slide Stories: Neko’s Journey is a calm and relaxing collection of slider puzzles. It contains six animated images with five difficulty levels (3x3, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, and a jump to a tricky 9x9). You can play any puzzle on any difficulty level, allowing you to tailor them to your own skill level. I really enjoyed playing through all of the images on each level, that was a lot of fun. I look forward to playing them again on the higher difficulties, as I find slider puzzles quite easy. Whereas, if you struggle with them, you have the option to complete the puzzles with fewer pieces.

The journey of Nina with her cat Neko is beautifully hand-drawn into six pictures with five different levels of difficulties - Relaxing, Easy, Fun, Challenging, and Pro. You have to slide the tiles to complete the picture. I found it easier when I turned on the numbers for the tiles. The music is probably soothing for other players but I felt the music is sleepy and made me even more frustrated when I kept turning around the tiles to get to the correct sequence.

Each level has different sizes - 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, and 9x9. I quite enjoyed playing such a short game but I started to get impatient with 9x9 with the sleepy music. And I always stuck at the last two rows like a cat keeps chasing its tail, trying to keep sliding the numbers in a circular mode so that I won’t mess up those top rows which are in correct sequence.
