Dominant Mind
Dominant Mind is a Steam version of one of the most popular board games ever!! If you are a lover of logic games, this is the right game for you! People have always been interested in challenging the mind with mind games and exercise the brain with brain training games. Our brain is a muscle and just like every other muscle. It needs exercise to develop and keep fit!
Try in two playing modes to break the code:
-
easy mode with 4 pins
-
hard mode with 5 pins
The logic and Dominant Mind game rules are very similar to a mind game called Bulls and Cows that was played with a pencil on paper. Ready to get your brain training?

Sagrada
A few months ago, my roommates got me hooked on the physical version of this board game, and we absolutely couldn’t get enough. As a Birthday gift, a friend sent me a copy of the digital game we’d all been contemplating getting. After playing a few rounds online, including crossplaying with friends on mobile, I can say this is one of the best digital board games I’ve found to date.
The campaign is realistically just more Sagrada for you to play, but some of the later boards do have some difficult to navigate board/color situations that no one would normally pick, leading to the player having to take interesting and unique lines they wouldn’t normally while playing with friends.

This is both an excellent game and an excellent development! No bugs whatsoever, which is a very rare find these days. Congrats to the developers! :-)
It has a good Tutorial and lots of solo content through a Campaign Mode or Solo Mode.
The Campaign is very well designed. It also works as a simple and inviting way to learn more advanced strategies. I learned about all its features by playing it this way. You can replay it as many times as you want and you get rewarded by that. Upper levels get unlocked only after achieving certain goals.

Army of Numbers
As a math nerd, I love it. I’m happy that there’s finally a quick game I can play to relax that still makes me think instead of just brainlessly push buttons and swipe. This is what this genre should be.

BAO
As a Tanzanian local who grew up playing this game I am glad that the game now has a good and accurate representation on Steam. The game has a lot more strategic options and variations than most mancala like games.

Like chess, this game requires that the players think a few steps ahead; however, while chess has a few set of rules and a few kinds of pieces, Bao has only one kind of piece and a complex system of rules to govern them. In chess, you take time to set up your pieces. In Bao, you work through two different phases of the game, and watch your work chain react (the flow to this is hard to explain, but satisfying to experience). Those looking for a popular, simple game may find this hard to warm up to (that said, this game does come with a tutorial, and will highlight legal possible moves). Those looking for a fresh mental exercise, or perhaps wanting to learn about other cultures may be interested to give this a shot.

Gizmos: Spirit Of The Christmas
I 100% recommend this game. These nonograms play well, but sadly there are none bigger than 30x30. The software works very well and has a nice, simplistic layout and all the standard functions you’re looking for in a game like this. It is very much possible to solve all the nonograms within the given time frame, but some puzzles will be challenging time wise even for experienced puzzlers.

I’ve been looking forward to the release of this title, and purchased it on its release date! As of writing this I’ve almost 2 hours of gameplay in.. and I’m super ecstatic that the series is being continued! The Gizmo games offer an auto-fill feature, once a line is completed, which is one of my favourite features of this game (it’s also something that I’ve rarely run across in other nonogram games). The jigsaw puzzle mini-games offer a nice “break” inbetween puzzles! There is also a “perfect time” timer.. for those who like an extra challenge (which you can turn that off by setting the game to relaxed/casual mode).. as well as leaderboards and Steam Achievements. The snowy/holiday theme was done beautifully, and is even integrated as snowy blocks (within the look of the puzzle itself before completion). It also happens to be a super lightweight game specs-wise; which is great for those of us that play on low-end laptops!

Mini Words - minimalist puzzle
You’re sitting at your favorite steakhouse, fidgeting with the straw in your drink and laughing nervously. The waitress stands at the end of the table, notepad in hand, and she seems confused about the holdup.
You can remember quantum mechanics. You can remember how to communicate with the dead. You can remember every police code they call in on the radio and what they mean. You even used to know Spanish. But you’ll be damned if you can remember a simple, 7-letter word that you use almost every day.

Mini Words is a spatial word puzzle game. Entertaining, challenging, maddening: Mini Words is all of these and more. In the game, you are presented with an array of letters which at first seems completely random. But there are specific words that you need to create from those letters, by drawing a line between letters orthogonally or diagonally to spell each word. As with any word search, it’s satisfying to find order in apparent chaos; it’s just fun finding words. The classic word dice game of Boggle demonstrates this. On first glance, Mini Words looks and feels a lot like Boggle. But you must rebuke that impression and banish all thoughts of Boggle from your mind, as they will only get in the way and make the game much more difficult. Mini Words is a subversion of Boggle, that adds rules to that game to restrict it and make it more of a challenge.

Safe Squares
Glad that I bought it.
I’m just effectively working with my emotions while playing this game. These puzzles are organized in such a way that I’m feeling nervous when solving - so after completing I can close my eyes and reflect on my thoughts and emotions.
So you can really help yourself if you buy.

The scenario mode is quite fun, even with AI opponents. The trade mechanics is quite simple. But when you’re combining it with event cards from the scenario mode, it is becoming interesting.
