UPDATE: Okay, so we find out some more information from this developer. And I was wrong with linking the asset kit I thought he directly flipped as the bricks and paddle are EXACTLY THE SAME SPRITES.

Still, if he only used sprites in a Game Maker game that he coded himself, then technically, this IS NOT A DIRECT ASSET FLIP. So I apologize for that incorrect information.

However, in my video and believe I stated that the free asset kit on Unity probably played and worked better than what he was selling here on Steam. And I hold by that because THIS GAME HE MADE WITH THE FREE ASSETS PLAYS TERRIBLY WITH LAGGY COLLISIONS AND GAMEPLAY THAT IS NOT SMOOTH OR FUN.

Ping Pong Space - Retro Tennis

Ping Pong Space - Retro Tennis

“You get what you pay for”, yeah, that’s pretty much the way to sum up the experience with this game. That said, don’t expect a masterpiece, it’s a basic game that you can use to kill some time whenever you feel like it.

This title doesn’t really have a “story mode” available or something, but there’s a campaign of 60 levels that you can get to beat, in order to complete it. The more you advance, the more complex the levels get, with obstacles that you need to avoid, or that you can also try to use it in order to fool the AI.

I played for 10 minutes very stoned. It has a (one) good retro sountrack. You can play this waiting for Windjammers 2.

As a math nerd, I love it. I’m happy that there’s finally a quick game I can play to relax that still makes me think instead of just brainlessly push buttons and swipe. This is what this genre should be.

Soliterix

Soliterix

Solid game for anyone tired of regular old solitaire. The soundtrack is phenomenal and the controls and mechanics are easy to understand. I personally was able to get up to 3000, maybe add leaderboards to make it more competitive or some cosmetic changes that can be unlocked.

This tetris-like is a must have for anyone into these kinds of games and also enjoys solitaire. The controls can be janky at times but the solitaire rules are accurate and anyone needing a break from regular cards would probably gain some enjoyment from playing. The only advice I would give is to add a little more in depth instruction for anyone new to either of the genres, this would increase the amount of people who would be able to download and play immediately without totally familiarizing themselves to how the game works in card form first. Other than the initial confusion, a good game to pass the time.

In Geometry Bricks, you are tasked with moving two blocks across the puzzle board to the glowing exit. Like myself, you probably think that pretty easy to do. At first, is easy to do but that quickly changes into a challenge and then a bigger challenge as you progress through the levels.

Un gran juego, simple en suposiciones y divertido. Otra gran ventaja es el bajo precio.

An unusual game in the style of three in a row, The game has a normal gameplay as in other games, from the disadvantages of the lack of the Russian language and I would advise replacing the music completely.

Merge Chess

Merge Chess

Merge Chess is a brand new approach to Chess! Blending the strategy of the ancient game of Chess with simple puzzle game mechanics.

Use the mouse, keyboard of game pad to shift the board pieces in any direction. Same pieces of opposite colours that touch will be merged.

Keep merging to take more and more pieces, progressing from Pawn to King. A new piece will spawn every time you move without merging. Be careful not to fill up the board with pieces! The aim of the game is to be left with only one King in the shortest possible number of moves.

3DSen is one of the greatest emulators I have ever used. Keep in mind that this emulator does not come with roms, you will need to provide those yourself. This emulator works great I haven’t encountered any graphical glitches or slow down. The 3D looks really good too. It really looks and feels 3D, and it only uses the rom of the game your playing. There are a least 70 games that support 3D, just link a rom to the correct profile and you’re ready to go. The 2D mode works well too. If a game doesn’t have 3D support yet you can load the game in 2D mode. 2D mode allows you to play the game in it’s original 2D pixels. I tried games that don’t support 3D and they work great. They run at full speed and graphics look great. I even tried mods like SMB Peach Edition. I recommend running these in 2D mode so it doesn’t cause issues with the SMB 3D profile. I haven’t tested SMB mods with the 3d profile. In the end I can’t recommend this emulator enough.

For someone who grew up with NES and games like Zelda, Mario, Mega Man and Faxanadu and who still plays those classics occasionally, this little piece of emulator software seemed very intriquing from the day I heard about, which was way before the launch day. I participated to beta testing, so my time with it is much more than that almost 8 hours that Steam shows. I have to mention that I’m also a big fan of stereoscopic gaming and Nvidia’s 3D Vision, so when I got 3DSen to work in stereoscopic 3d it was like a dream come true: Finally I got to play those childhood classics the way I play games these days!
