e-River Cabin Journal
Once upon a time, I got fed up with city life and decided to move to Alaska, live in the middle of no where and get away from it all.
I didn’t know jack and froze to death the first night.
Twice upon a time, I got fed up with the city and left for a cabin in the middle of Alaska.
I still didn’t know jack, (and didn’t really know that I didn’t know jack) and died two days later.
Thrice upon a time, … yeah I got fed up with the city and bought a cabin in the middle of Denali National Park in Alaska.

This game 100% is not for everyone.. The Devs have made this prettty ckear,, I did some homework on this one.. It’s not an easy game..At times I am left scratching my head.. Getting started (In my case in the Oct) is tougher then any game I’ve ever played…. you log into a cold cabin with no firewood.. you can’t even read as it’s just too cold.. meaning you have to go try to chop wood first.. I got hammered by a bear,,, managed to kill him then simply walked away from the tree I dropped…. (why not just go back and finis?) so you lose the energy.. have to try again and hope to God you can just manage to get enough wood to warm light the fire and get the cabin warm enough to read……

Atomic Cards
Some of the reviews for this game are allegedly fake. I am here to provide an honest review from a layperson who enjoys card games, roguelites, and roguelikes. This game is decent; however, I will hesitantly give it a thumbs down because of the lack of options. Be aware of the following… Firstly, this game needs a seizure warning; some random events cause the screen to flash in all sorts of colors. There is a lot of needless clicking; you will be clicking boxes or crates several times, providing either food, medicine, or ammo. There are no volume controls or any options, honestly. This is likely due to the engine used to create the game, which the developer mentioned in the community forum. (https://steamcommunity.com/app/1701140/discussions/0/2954915322322930678/ )

The game in its genre (card RPG game), in my opinion, is very good. There are many different characters, constant events and complex moral choices that will definitely not let you get bored.

I love the idea but seriously this dude cant follw directions to save his life. you go to bedroom that has the locked closet but god forbid this idiot go upstairs to look for a damn key. he really likes looking at a tv for some reason. But the idea is awesome and i wish this guy could follow simple instructions

Living in the Ending World
I like games with some trial and error, stuff like “The Oregon Trail” or “Death Road to Canada.” I was initially attracted to “Living in the Ending World” because of the anime style, the creepy apocalyptic theme, and my personal love of the aforementioned games.
However, even after struggling to play this game for 6 hours (at the time of this review), I cannot, in good faith, recommend this game. Why? It is an infuriating experience because not only do the many items you obtain and events that occur are almost completely RNG, it doesn’t give you any feedback on what you’re doing right, or any real hints to guide you in a better direction. Hints appear on the Game Over screen like “With any misfortune, there are options to minimize the damage,” after I’ve survived 57 days with full health and I just happened to pick the instant death option (with no return save point available). With these totally vague hints, the game is forcing you to learn what benefits you by experiencing death again and again, but instead of making it fun or engaging, it becomes infuriating because of the RNG.

CRYPTIC
Great game I’ve been enjoying and replaying ! After playing “Stories Untold” and “Open Sorcery”, I was looking for another game that would allow me to “type in” my way through the story ! It uses all your imagination to find your way, find the clues and avoid the “Game Over” traps. Original and excellent kind of game !

Very intriguing, solid, old-shool IF. This is only my first impression after 1h of gaming but my opinion is at moment very good. If you are a enthusiast of the text adventure genre like me this is a mandatory purchase. Thanks to Shoho Games to keep alive this type of games, I’ll buy all your next games!

No Light
This game is full of jump scares it starts out real quick it gives you anxiety and all, however it becomes too repetitive and the jump scares starts to not scare you anymore.
Here’s a game play I did: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYEmDv3zFMc&t=32s

I tried twice and noped the heck out of this game. There isn’t a jump scare or audio jump scare this game doesn’t love and the overall effect is to make you jangly and jumpy. Good luck figuring out which demons can kill you in one hit and which are just quick frights.
Demons are jerks, overall, and love pouncing out of the darkness towards you in this game. And a few got me good enough that I tried hiding in the closets. Then I reminded myself I can wait until the devs make a version filled with cute kittens. Oh, were the cameras supposed to work? I couldn’t get 1 to 5 to do anything.

ASCIIDENT
It would be nonsensical to think that this game was developed specifically for me, but that’s how it feels; the story, art, feels, crafting, upgrades, and worlds. I lerv everything about this game.

I absolutely love the concept, story, effects, overall just the whole game is addicting. if your into the unique and need a break from adrenaline types of games from time to time, you can find yourself playing this for hours. The longer i played, the more curious i got from the map, crafts, and the creative animations. Craving to play much more and hoping to see this game go further. Brings back the concept of how much imagination you can pack into a simple concept. Keep up the good work and Thank you!

Short PROS :
a) Developers are regular with the updates, open to suggestions and fast with bug fixes.
b) Game is simple to play but has a very deep complex system simulation under the hood which gives it a lot of potential for all kinds of players.
c) Plenty of Perks to tailor and roleplay your runs or make them as easy or hard as you will.

This is weird, this is confusing, this is hard… oh I get it.
This is a challenging, extremely enjoyable game - as someone who is perpetually dehydrated in the actual world (I forget to drink water), it has endlessly amused me that twice I’ve died in the game - I’ve died about 15 times, but twice specifically - from forgetting to drink water while I’m busy crafting.
Please, stop playing this game, have a drink of water - then return to playing.
Interesting system, moving cards (or items) on top of each other to create various actions. I really like the perk system, and the options to unlock various perks to make the journey a little easier - though not entirely simple - and a bit different each time.
