Rogue North
Gameplay
Rogue North is a tactical rogue-lite focused on a thick, cold atmosphere, as well as deadly gunplay. Fight to survive in a Canadian snow-pocalypse. Carve a path through the deadly Russian occupation force on the way to escape the turmoil. Reach merchant campsites along the way to restock and outfit your character. Prepare accordingly, there’s a long, cold walk ahead of you.

Marauder
It’s a highly recommended buy, though with many restrictions and prerequisites. Yeah, game-is-not-for-everyone’s-tastes.
First, you should really like squad-tactics games like Jagged Alliance, Silent Storm or 7.62 and DON’T BE a graphics freak who wants everything in 16:9 with 60fps. Game’s a bit dated, see? And still, it can be successfully compared by gameplay options even with latest tactics games. That slow-paced genre never was too hard about graphics. Physics, mechanics - that’s a prime, but high resolutions… meh.

First off let me say THIS ISN’T LIKE STALKER!!!! S.T.A.L.K.E.R games were my favorite PC games of all times and people comparing this game to S.T.A.L.K.E.R are doing so bc the game’s russian developed with russian voice actors and so-on and so-forth. Nothing from the atmosphere, the story, or the gameplay is that of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R games. BUT this game, though not at the level of S.T.A.L.K.E.R is still an awesome game!!! It’s a tactical/strategic/survival-ISH game(u don’t really need food and water to survive it just helps with health, though not much w/o certain skills) w/ RPG character building elements (Skills, exp, etc). I"ve played Shadowrun, and 7.62 and i like this one better. PATIENCE IS A MUST to be able to get used to the camera as well as the all around beginning of the game.

Endless Horde
Cheap, Challenging and Fun but lacks Developer support
Positives
-
Game Cards
-
Not one game/redo is the same (objectively you have to defend the scientist/s so they spawn at different locations)
-
Fun and short your not thrown into massive amounts of HUD
Negatives
- Bugs (as of writing this review)
*Zombies become immortal after a certain wave, 7 10 or 11
*Zombies AI paths wrongly, get glitched walking/stuck against walls, enter aggro/running mode even tho object isn’t in line of sight and is over the other side of the wall

I love the attempt on a fresh take on tower defense. We really need those attempts. Sadly, I don’t think it worked out very well this time.
Most commonly seen in tds you steadily build up your defenses and get stronger as you go. It’s about composition and timing.
But here it’s about losing all your stuff as slowly as you can. I know it’s a vague point of critique, but the constant feeling of impending doom; it’s not if you’ll lose but when, bundled with some pretty hectic mechanics. I feel scrolling around the map clicking loot-boxes before they disappear(!) is disappointingly boring, if not straight up awful gameplay.

Space Rogue
SPACE ROGUE REVIEW:
..with a message to the
DEVELOPERS
at the bottom.
UPDATE: A developer replied to little ol me noting that they had addressed these bugs and an update rolled out inline with those comments. The Dev has also asked us(the community) to report bugs to them in the format they mention below in the comments. A big thanks to them for addressing this issue for me, I hope it helps others out there too!
I want to start by saying this game is great fun, only sullied by many bugs everywhere. Looking around the a large proportion of these negative reviews, I’d suggest many feel the same about turning their reviews positive(including mine) if the bugs get sorted.

Two things I would like to point out before I get into the “meat and potatoes.” The first is, I hate writing reviews this early into playing a game (13 hours.) Second, I really want to give a positive review and hope with some further developer involvement this game will get there.
So I can not, in this game’s current form, give this game a positive review. The forums are riddled with bugs, some of which I have experienced first hand. The bugs ruin what could have been a quality FTL:Faster than Light clone.

Quarantine
IN A WORD: MAYBE
IN SHORT:
WHAT TO EXPECT: Contemporary pandemic setting. Boardgame clone. Elegent design. Basic mechanics. Superficial depth. Narrow strategy options. Repetitive gameplay. Short games, very dependent on difficulty. Very polished production values. Singleplayer only. Workshop integration but little additional scenarios.
ACHIEVEMENTS: BALANCED.
STATUS: COMPLETE. BUT SHOULD BE IN EA. NOW UNSUPPORTED.
WHEN TO BUY: ON A BIG SALE.

Quarantine is a turn based strategy game where the player is tasked with protecting the world from a deadly virus. The core gameplay is reasonably enjoyable, but unfortunately there’s a serious lack of depth. I’m giving a positive recommendation because, although you’ll probably only get a few hours entertainment from the game (I’m done with it after 6 hours), the purchase price is low, so it still represents value for money.
Gameplay
At the start of each turn, the virus will infect more people and spread to more cities around the world. The player can then use their team to perform a few actions.

Shattle
It’s the year 1970 in Sweden, and the Cold War is upon us. None of the thousands of bomb shelters have been used, until now. You and 24 other players start in separate apartments as air-raid sirens go off. You don’t have much time so gather as many supplies and weapons wherever and however you can.
What gear can you find? What supplies can you craft? Who can you trust? Use Shattle’s in-game voice chat to make friends or enemies. You’ll need all your wits about you to survive three bombing raids and make it to safety.
20-minute rounds
No more hiding or camping. You don’t have time for that. Survive to the end in any way you can. You have to think strategically, but you have to do it fast.
Close Combat Survival
Battle your way through everything from dense forests and bunkers to bomb shelters and underground tunnels as you get up close and personal with other players. Be careful! You never know who’s hiding just around the corner.
Destructible Environments
As bombs fall, they take chunks of the environment with them, creating more dynamics and new spaces in forested areas and buildings. So every time you leave your shelter, prepare for all-new surroundings.
Extensive weapons and armour
Loot, craft or upgrade, there are many ways to equip yourself for the fight ahead. And watch the skies! The Swedish Forces are known to drop some rare guns and armour via air supplies.
Points-based scoring
This isn’t your typical battle royale where you want to be the last one standing. Everyone’s goal is to make it to safety, but how you do it is up to you. Whether you want to shoot your way through or be a tactically sound crafter, everything counts towards your final score.
Bird’s View
Death isn’t the end of your journey. Come back as a dove and be the ultimate spotter for your team.
The Captain is Dead
Fantastic. I’d never played the physical board game, but this was so much fun I went out and bought a copy.
Sure, I’m not a fan of the art style, and the fires on the ship are maybe a bit confusing - since they are purely aesthetic and don’t actually indicate problems, yet when you see fire you tend to assume there are problems. But these are minor points.
In The Captain is Dead, you play an intrepid crew of as many as 6 struggling to fend off ever-encroaching oblivion as your spaceship disintegrates around you. After each crew member takes their turn, another disaster strikes. Maybe the ship’s teleporter overloads, maybe an alien spacecraft attacks, or maybe a hostile raiding party beams in. If your shields go below 0%, you’re dead. If 13 invaders beam onto the ship, you’re dead. And if you spend so many resources avoiding those things that you can’t fix your ship’s jump core in time … guess what, you’re dead.

First of all, let me just say that I own the original board game copies of the TCID and its second episode (Lockdown), so you could say that I’m already a fan of the franchise. This is also the very first review I’ve written outside of an educational capacity, so I hope that you all find it helpful.
I. OVERVIEW
The Captain is Dead pits you (and a team of your buddies if you so choose) against an unknown alien enemy that attacks your ship for reasons unknown. Unfortunately for you, your captain, who could probably get you out of this situation with little to no trouble at all, has died (hence the title). You could escape by making a jump into light speed, but your jump core (or hyper drive) is on the fritz, and you don’t have R2-D2 to help you reactivate it. Therefore, it is now up to you to utilize the talents of the remaining crew to make all necessary repairs to the jump core, while mitigating disaster by fending off alien intruders and preventing the destruction of your oh-so-delicate ship.

Battle of Hunters : Beast Zone
This game is amazing and perfect! I ended up buying 8 copies for my friends. I would have bought more if I had more friends to buy it for. The game is addicting which is nice because it helped my get over my crippling h*roin addiction and my crippling porn addiction. My life has really turned around. I’ve gotten a girlfriend, gotten accepted into MIT, and I even won the lottery. All thanks to this game. I owe my life to the creator. Thank you.

i have bought over 50 copies of this game.
this game saved mine, and everyone it bought it for, lives.
we were all hopelessly addicted to pornography.
we would sit in calls for hours watching porn trying to find that high that we all sought.
we tried straight, gay, lesbian, furry, midget, trap, scat, golden shower, feet, hentai, and anything else we could find.
It was a sad life and we couldn’t escape.
that was until we found this game.
as soon as i started playing it i was hooked.
i didn’t join our calls to look for pornography anymore i was free.
