So i bought this game after seeing it on youtube i am quite impressed that one man made this game that’s insane. It’s got some fun mechanics i quite enjoyed the explosions and death animations, the reloading and difference between weapons is really cool as well. bolt action was my favourite by far. There’s definitley a few annoying bugs in the single player mode when you die you sometimes spawn back to a heap of enemies on top of your body and they just instantly kill you however that doesnt happen too often.

Undead Blackout: Reanimated Edition
I wasn’t holding out much hope for Undead Blackout, but I can say in all honesty that it managed to underwhelm me even beyond those minimal expectations.
Graphically, the game is very dark. It’s nearly impossible to see anything, which tells me that the “gimmick” for this game is nothing more than a poorly done game of, “Hide & Seek.” While I will admit that it was a bit creepy the first time I enountered a group of zombies standing with their backs to me, that only works once. It ceases to be interesting when it’s overdone.

Outward
I, personally, love atmosphere of the game. It’s a great option to spend a whole bunch of time exploring, looting and getting to know this post-apocalyptic fantasy world alone or with friends!
Great soundtrack and ,all be it outdated, but decent visuals.
Flexible class system: mix and match various specializations with plenty of weapons and armor to compliment them.
This is the case where nothing is “unusable” or “absolutely best”.
4 base massive maps with whole bunch of dungeon space to explore along with 3 factions with their own quest lines to choose from provide good replayability. DLC add 2 more large locations and 1 faction.

First, this game is pure fun! At first I admit I sweared a lot till I found my game style because I “died” many times. I found myself more than once come back in a middle of a bandit camp without my backpack, crwaling my way to it to run and get out before I get cought again or wake up in a cave at the far end of the map. But this game is forgiving when you die and you don’t really lose anything. Though this game is though, there are enough different character skills or classes you can do so you can find one to your playstyle. Just don’t expect to spam your attack even on simple enemies because you’ll die and die again and it will be your doom. if you’re having trouble to get through a battle, just use your head. Place as many traps as you can and be a coward and run from it because you don’t always have to fight to get things done. Sometimes you can simply run, get what you need and run back to where you want if thats what you can do to succeed.

It came from space and ate our brains
** CLICK VIDEO AT THE END FOR A GIVEAWAY OF THIS GAME **
Introduction
It Came From Space, and Ate Our Brains is a top down shooter where you fight waves of aliens trying to eat your brains. I was skeptical with going into this game because of the blocky style graphics, but I was pleasantly surprised. It Came From Space, and Ate Our Brains has plenty of different guns/upgrades, maps, powerups, and different aliens. Along with the six maps currently there is more on the way and 4 different difficulties that are vastly different. The only real issue with It Came From Space, and Ate Our Brains is the fact of the camera gets blocked by map structures, but this issues is far and in between. Triangle Studios really has a hidden gem with It Came From Space, and Ate Our Brains, from the unique graphics style to the fun multiplayer.

Some games dont look like much at first, but keep you coming back for more and more without realizing why. This is one of them.
With so many top down shooters and alien themed games on Steam, why is this so good? Because the aliens are pink and glow in the dark? Thats actually cool too , but here is why you should get this game:
Game play / Game mechanics: the controls are very smooth , so is the scrolling / gameflow and motion in general, creating a very pleasing game experience. For top down shooters with “twin stick” controls ( move with one stick , aim freely with the other ) this is critical. Not many people realize but this is usually what decides whether the game is great or terrible in this genre.

Lakeview Cabin 2
Another good chapter in the Lakeview series, the 80s Horror/slasher genre feeling is captured again and you can feel it in this new adventure. True moments of distress and the feeling that you have to watch your back will hit you as soon as you start the game (at least after the first night ;-) there is new set of scary Killers waiting for you in this First Episode and new ways to deal with them with some traps you could “built” resembling the ones made by the kid of the old movie “Home alone” that will allow you to make really convoluted ways to hurt and kill your persecutors (The lore is expanded in this new game and as it’s still early for anything “official” everything is left to the interpretation of the players but is clear it is another work of love by the author). The game is still a work in progress but you could lose hours trying to beat it in the best way possible. There is again no Save option and your choices (and some times luck) will determine the outcome of your play. Highly recommended to buy and support the creator and enjoy another Terrific story.

It’s so good. Great for fans of the last games especially. You’re put back into the wild world of Lakeview Cabin with new mechanics, new enemies, and the same amount of full frontal nudity.
I love how this has turned out, BUT be warned that this is very much in early access. You’ll experience lots of bugs, incomplete features, and less levels than the first game. Currently there are 2-ish levels, tons of new items along with old ones, absolutely fantastic graphical improvements, and new physics.

Destropolis
Proof that a twin-stick shooter can be a work of art.
Destropolis' minimalist art style is bolstered by intelligent gameplay with precision weapon and skill mechanics, and persistent level progression across play sessions.
The aesthetics and gameplay are elevated by LukHash’s beautiful synthwave soundtrack and the integration of tempo manipulation with Bullet Time works to create a beautiful example of digital love.

The new update is lit.
My old review was still recommended, but I listed a litany of complaints and it was very negative overall.
That old review is wrong, so it’s gone. Of course I still recommend the game, it’s a blast.
So many things have been tuned, changed, and improved across the board.
It’s a bit easy to start now, but it’s sooo fun. Explosions everywhere. More guns, better guns.
If you want a chill game to zone out after a hard day, this is your ticket.
You get to be the conductor of a ballet of destruction, good luck have fun.

Xenomare
Xenomare is a fun little Survival Horror Roguelike it very hard and I died a lot. In this game, you have to search for items and do the task then leave. This is all done well having to avoid and hide from the enemy. There are a few maps and difficulties. I was mostly playing on easy and was still dying a lot. This game does have a big problem with the full screen being off the screen to the bottom right. I fixed this by using a program called Borderless Gaming. Overall, I recommend giving this a try if you like Survival Horror games and afford to spend $8 if not you can wait for a sale. Just know this game is still an Early Access Game so the dev is still working on it.

BlastZone 2
My Grandfather smoked his whole life. I was about 10 years old when my mother said to him, ‘If you ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, you have to stop immediately.’. Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me. My mother said to me- ‘Don’t ever smoke. Please don’t put your family through what your Grandfather put us through." I agreed. At 28, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because this game gave me cancer anyway.

Apparently the blast zone is actually quite large. BlastZone 2 is a short indie side scrolling shooter (ala R-type but I wouldn’t say this game is that similar to R-type) made by solo developer Mat Edzenga. It features a number of different ships with different load outs, 8 stages filled with enemy ships, interesting 3D graphics and a few extra modes to try your hand at once you have beaten the main game. It also has local 2 players, controller support and costs only a few bucks.
Good
