Escape the Ayuwoki
Scary. Exhilarating. Awesome. I absolutely loved the free version of Escape the Ayuwoki and love this Steam version. I love it when the Ayuwoki smashes, eats or stomps on a rat. I love being able to use other light sources and have ways to district the Ayuwoki. I love all the lore and occult stuff in the game. I sometimes enjoy making the Ayuwoki go into rage mode just for the hell of it. I have played this game many times and beaten it, so it can be done! I like the tutorial because you get a sense of what to do, and I enjoy the Mattresswoki in the tutorial. I love Michael Jackson, and I mean no disrespect towards him when I say that I enjoy this game. I would recommend it to everyone to play it. If you enjoy a good horror game and being chased by a monster that gives you the heehee geebies, then, play this game!

Yes yes, it is made a little poorly. Though, it is a little and nice indie game.. I know people might hate this more than the original, and i agree but the AI and stuff are a bit better than the original. Some people had trouble with dying and starting all the way over but thank GOD they added checkpoints now! There’s no way to beat this game without checkpoints, unless if your a really good gamer! Chapter 3 kinda gets buggy, the AI is too hard and when i’m really quiet he hears you anyway! Though besides some glitches and AI is kinda rigged, its not that bad for a indie horror game, i have played worse! Though the price is not worth it and i think this game should be worth atleast $3-$7! Besides that it’s good! Don’t judge too much on this game since barely anybody worked on this game, that’s why it’s called a INDIE game

Vaccine
The dimly lit old hallways of a broken and rustic mansion-like home set the stage for an experiment gone wrong. A strange virus turns regular human beings into twisted creatures, thirsty for the flesh of their once friendly counterparts and only one vaccine exists among the hordes of turned zombies. It’s a story we’ve heard before many times and a genre we’ve seen perfected already, and Vaccine doesn’t exactly do it any favors here (bad localization abound) but it does seek to shake the scene up a bit with the procedurally generated levels and items made popular by the roguelike genre. What were once long and involved journeys of narrative filler are now quick and challenging runs through a 30 minute or less roguelike horror adventure. It might not be the same engaging story we know from Resident Evil or the same evolved gameplay, but Vaccine manages to create a frightening DIY vibe of its own that is worth the trip for those with patience for its archaic and old school ways.

If you played PlayStation in the 90’s, the tanky controls and slightly unresponsive input will almost compliment the
nostalgic, yet muddy visuals (reminiscent of Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill, etc.).
‘Vaccine’ wraps an interesting puzzle mystery inside a rouge-like survival horror experience that encourages tight resource management and exploration. The mystery of the game’s story reveals itself through documents scattered around the house; some containing useful information, others providing background on what’s going on. The leveling system doesn’t carry from game to game, but will allow you to have more of a fighting chance the longer you survive in a single game.

Fight the Horror
Love the Chinese settings. Female character’s punches can be funny. Don’t understand some of the settings. But not bad.

From what I see in the game, the developers tried to make something different.
It may be a good idea but it’s still lack of something.
There’s potential for this to be good.

Panacea: Last Will
This game is good, good atmosphere, the monster could be a little smarter. The soundtrack is top, I can not wait to play the second episode

There’s games that want to be Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Then there’s games that REALLY want to be Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Then there’s games that REALLY, REALLY want to be Amnesia: The Dark Descent.
Welcome, one and all, to Panacea: Last Will (or at least the first Chapter thereof)!
I’m not complaining, though. Think one of the higher quality Amnesia mods, and you’re getting pretty close here. In fact, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this began life as an Amnesia mod, as you could pretty much make a checklist and come out around the 80% mark (even the story and setting aren’t highly dissimilar). But again…is this such a bad thing? Well…no. But I certainly wouldn’t play this before playing the “parent” game itself, even though the quality here isn’t TOO far behind.

Penguin’s Dogma|獄門ペンギン
A quick and fun game to play. The chase music is hilarious. Be aware that “Real” difficulty is the true game. This game was recommended to me by Usada Pekora.

Hard difficulty playthrough: https://youtu.be/NDdtB3jp4KY
Not gonna lie, had an absolute blast with this game this morning. Took me a bit to figure out what had to be done to escape, but the creepy atmosphere is subtle, the penguins act as a nice tonal clash for the sake of humor, and the core concept is executed very well. I ran into some bugs during my many playthroughs, but aside a small handful of “real” difficulty killing the experience a bit I was able to forgive them.
The biggest complaint, though? It’s short. Yes, there are four difficulties, but I still beat this multiple times on all but “easy” difficulties (didn’t play that one) in less than two hours. Hopefully the devs do what Shawn did with Pacify and continue supporting it with one or more new maps in the future, or even a mutiplayer mode at some point. $7 is a bit much to part with for such a short experience, but I really do suggest this title if you just want to sit back and play a fun little stealth horror game.

Zombie Claus
I purchased this game because A: It was cheap (and on Sale) B: The preview video looked great and C: Because the reviews seemed ok. So, here is my complete thought after playing the game.
I love the idea the dev was going for in this and in my opinion, I didn’t experience motion sickness or hardly any motion blur. The game is challenging and fun. Below are my complaints with this game.
1. Promotion of the devs social media accounts are displayed when you access the computer. I would accept this if the game was FREE but not when you must purchase the game.

The optimization is not the best, there is a serious amount of motion blur as well ( I feel dizzy).
But being 100% transparent with you guys, this is sick!
Some parts are in russian..but easy to figure out as far as a puzzle.
It’s really fun, it’s unique, I actually really enjoy this!!! Wish motion blur was taken out, and I wish the optimization was a little bit better but over all , big thumbs up!

Find Me: Horror Game
It is fun and also horrifying!! They should improve the game, becasue it is still rusty but it is an Alpha version and i guess they will improve it. Small space to play and the Haunted Doll is kinda camping and buggy but it is a really good idea please improve it!!!

Grandpa
Another very poorly designed and even worse executed game.
The controls are way too sensitive making it worse not more scary, and speaking of scary, the game isn’t scary at all, sure there might be a jump scare here and there but that is all there is to it.
I don’t know what is worse, you have to escape this house/ building trying to avoid the one shot kill grandpa, that is easy compared to escaping the bad gameplay mechanics unfortunately.
All in all a lot more play testing should of gone into this before releasing it, as t stands this is a broken game dumped on the steam store for +1 collectors and nothing else.

Near Death Experience
Not the best I’ve seen but I just started it plus it shows effort from the developer(s) and has potential. Care to join my company as I play through this? here is my first part: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCP3y7qpsbRte3WL2GrXdsrw

Remothered: Broken Porcelain
Curator page here-- DaRevieweD #46 -- New review every Sunday
Remothered Tormented Fathers , out in 2018, managed to shake people’s core through shocking plot, gasps, whilst enveloping the players in dread and grating atmosphere. You can imagine my jaw-dropping (not for the reason you’d think) when after two years of hype, anticipation via effective marketing- that Broken Porcelain was finally released to a shattered state… Are there any parts intact from criticism?
– Real player with 14.8 hrs in game
Remothered: Broken Porcelain is a sequel to a decent game, Tormented Fathers, which was borrowing heavily from classics such as Clock Tower and a little bit Resident Evil for its basic concepts, to give us a short but intriguing stealth-horror adventure.
This one…. is just gross. Gross and schizophrenic just like most of the cast involved.
The plot revolves around Jennifer, an orphan brought to a newly opened hotel under the Etna, to work as a cleaner. It doesnt take 10 minutes for the story to fly well above its own expectations, as a person who’s supposed to be trustworthy, randomly spills the beans about every minute detail of the owner’s life story to a random orphan from a reformatory. After the load of infodump is nonchalantly thrown in the player’s face, in a couple minutes everyone goes insane just like in the first title, and its up to Jennifer to find a way to escape the hotel, uncover its mysteries, and possibly get to know who she is.
