Fight the Horror
Love the Chinese settings. Female character’s punches can be funny. Don’t understand some of the settings. But not bad.

From what I see in the game, the developers tried to make something different.
It may be a good idea but it’s still lack of something.
There’s potential for this to be good.

This is a decent horror game.
It gets even better if you are into 80’s horror and slasher movies. All the small details, and nice references are there. The game has haunting music, pretty good voice acting and the typical horror story(In no way original but scary enough). Jumpscares are limited, and I like it that way.
graphics are PS1 style, personally I liked it for this game.
Only negative I can say is that I did not know when the game would save, so I just guessed when a new chapter started. Not that the game seems that long anyway, but still sometimes people take breaks.

House of Velez part 1
Terrifying and one of the most gory games i’ve ever played.
Perhaps after playing this I can sit through a marathon of gory films and not even flinch. This game really surpasses the gore factor one comes to expect. After being desensitized to various media over the years, I thought I had seen it all. The death scenes in this game are so creative and so detailed, it truly left me shook and unable to even function sometimes.
The game-play is tense and death can happen at any moment, This game pays homage to various games that came before that started the genre of survival horror. Clock Tower, Haunting ground. The visuals of the game also remind of Silent Hill.

So I finally Beat part 1. What do I think about it? Yea it was fun :) The Dev is a good dude. Now for the flaws.
He’s really good with his Cutscenes. This gave me a really good vibe of D. That’s a real good thing.
Now this game isn’t for everyone.
! When it comes to the mannequin part in the safe room… I had a big big issue with this part because the way you get around it is to sneak right? Well, I had an Idea where I would hold the Y and B button before the Mannequin comes in, Now once she does the buttons actually reset. What I mean is that when I’m about to sneak… I start walking.

Resident Evil 7 Teaser: Beginning Hour
It’s been a while since I’ve felt the way I feel about RE7. The last time I felt this way was when I played RE4. RE4 was something I had never experienced before.
As a PC gamer I have to support this game. They’ve released a sweet demo. It is well optimized. I have the same demo on PS4. Graphics on PS4 are trash compared to this version. How often do triple AAA’s release a demo?? Come on!
Obviously they are trying to make a real impression with this game. They’ve released a well optimized demo. They know the series needed to change in a big way. This is it. This is an RE revolution. You should hop on board. I really wish that other game developers would reinvent their intellectual property the way that Capcom has with RE7.

Alrighty, so for my 2 cents of this demo.
You watch a prologue before you start. You see yourself tied up and some guy is trying to cut off your ropes. Shortly after, the screen fades out, then you find yourself on the floor in a dimly-lit living room of a strange house that you barely recognize. Your mission is to get out of the house and you find yourself walking around, solving the house’s mysteries as well as getting used to the controls and mechanics of the game.
For the last few years, we’ve received a lot of indie horror games that are first person. The most noticable of these games that are being compared to this one are P.T. and Outlast. In fact, if you take the time to go around on many gaming forums, you will hear lots of people complaining that it’s an Outlast clone, or that this game ripped off its ideas from P.T.

Resident Evil Village Gameplay Demo
Not to be horny or anything, but I just got bitten and called “handsome” and “delicious” by two vampire girlfriends. And one of them told me that she wants to drown in my blood. If that’s not the best demo ever, then I don’t know what is.
So Resident Evil: Village has two demos here. One is “Castle” and one is… well.. “Village”. In Village-demo Ethan gets to be creeped out by an old crazy hag, fight big grey zombie-werewolves and see a lot of people die on him. In the Castle-demo Ethan gets to wake up in Lady Dimitrescu’s bedroom, trade a bit with our new merchant-buddy Duke and proceeds to get stepped on by two of Lady Dimitrescu’s daughters. Both demos have beautiful scenery, are highly screenshotable and packed well-enough for a one-shot demo. Both can be easily finished in less than 30 minutes in more-or-less casual pace, so I don’t really get why people are so upset about the length. Especially taking that RE2 Remake had the very same thing and that Village comes out in less than a week. Personally, I observed as much of the area as I could in both demos and still had 8 minutes left on timer when both were already done (so I had to speedrun the Castle one more time and spend 30 more seconds in the Village to get all achievements).

Played both village and castle areas with an R5 1400, gtx 1060 3gb, 16 gb ddr4 at 2133 mhz and an ssd
it is optimized better than expected considering this is subject to change and all that and the re3 demo ran worse than re3 itself, RE3 demo was almost unplayable for me but RE3 itself runs great on my pc so no worries there!
Good Stuff
-
Ethan already feels a lot more fleshed out
-
the puzzles and exploration embrace a more sandbox like approach
-
combat feels more satisfying with the enemies dropping interesting items (like RE4 but I think I like this more)

Veneficium
I’m a pretty big baby when it comes to horror and the game did a really nice job at getting me scared enough to have a lot of fun. The atmosphere is on point, it falls short on it’s AI however, I noticed the monster teleport, both me and the monster could occasionally phase through trees and rocks which is a shame because it instantly takes me out of the immersion that was so well set up. I feel like there is something lacking with the spellcasting, the lack of animation or really just any sort of magic particles that don’t completely blind me (looking at you shadow-step) dissapointed me. it was short and sweet I liked exploring the world, trying to avoid the creature while I watch it in the distance, and collecting plants (even though I feel like this forest has more than a couple invasive species with how much muckweed there is) I had a lot of fun

The introduction for the game was good, I liked the map layout and the general look of the entire area along with the tree branches that heavily imitated the enemy. However, there wasn’t really a creation of atmosphere to me because although the models of the creature was good, it didn’t feel creepy due to what felt like a very fast walking speed for what appeared to be a slow monster that would loom over the forest floor as it hunted you down. It also seemed too easy to avoid the enemies as you could mindlessly crouch walk throughout the forest and they seemed to barely come near you due to the wide area given for just one creature.

Death courier
A brilliant take on Death Stranding but with a far more streamlined and coherent plot. A masterclass in story telling that puts Kojima’s comedy of concepts to bitter shame. If you look close enough, there’s beauty in monotony. Also, pleased to see the lack of obnoxious product placement.
Game sucks, no boobs. JK Fly AF LmAo

Escape the Ayuwoki
Scary. Exhilarating. Awesome. I absolutely loved the free version of Escape the Ayuwoki and love this Steam version. I love it when the Ayuwoki smashes, eats or stomps on a rat. I love being able to use other light sources and have ways to district the Ayuwoki. I love all the lore and occult stuff in the game. I sometimes enjoy making the Ayuwoki go into rage mode just for the hell of it. I have played this game many times and beaten it, so it can be done! I like the tutorial because you get a sense of what to do, and I enjoy the Mattresswoki in the tutorial. I love Michael Jackson, and I mean no disrespect towards him when I say that I enjoy this game. I would recommend it to everyone to play it. If you enjoy a good horror game and being chased by a monster that gives you the heehee geebies, then, play this game!

Yes yes, it is made a little poorly. Though, it is a little and nice indie game.. I know people might hate this more than the original, and i agree but the AI and stuff are a bit better than the original. Some people had trouble with dying and starting all the way over but thank GOD they added checkpoints now! There’s no way to beat this game without checkpoints, unless if your a really good gamer! Chapter 3 kinda gets buggy, the AI is too hard and when i’m really quiet he hears you anyway! Though besides some glitches and AI is kinda rigged, its not that bad for a indie horror game, i have played worse! Though the price is not worth it and i think this game should be worth atleast $3-$7! Besides that it’s good! Don’t judge too much on this game since barely anybody worked on this game, that’s why it’s called a INDIE game

The Evil Within
Before the actual review.
The devs finally added framerate cap and letterboxing options. Enabling console doesn’t prevent you from getting achievements anymore. While these options should’ve been there from the beginning it’s nice to see that these issues have been addressed.
Actual review.
I’ll keep it semi-short, I don’t want it to be bloated. Story spoiler-free.
Short introductions.
The Evil Within (TEW) is an oldschool survivor horror game with semi-tanky controls. If you’d ask me which games does TEW remind me of then I’d say Silent Hill, Resident Evil 4, Outlast and Alone in the Dark. If you ever played any Silent Hill title then you’ll notice the familiar dirty, rust and blood covered dilapidated locations, scary mental hospital with beds and wheelchairs all over the place. The game is medium paced, which is good and bad at the same time. It’s good because it doesn’t get boring. it’s bad because it decreases the horror factor. Puzzles are there, but really scarce and simple.

The Evil Within
“Enter The Mind of a Madman”
Introduction:
This game has been on my backburner for quite a few years. I remember when it first came out and I had shown some interest but it wasn’t until at least 2017 that I brought a copy. I’m not going to lie when I say that I regret not playing The Evil Within sooner. Is it a perfect game? No, absolutely not, but I can’t remember the last time where I played a game that awarded you the player with careful planning, movement, and overall thinking. It’s essentially a survival horror from the old days.
