Bloody Service
First of all i want to thank CASE for giving me a free key for their game.
Bloody Service is a visual novel inspired by horror movies. But it’s a bit different, because not only different choices mean different endings, but also different inventory management can give unexpected reactions and dialogues, giving the sensation of living the experience deeply. The main character is a guy working for a catering service and now he’s been called for a job in the exclusive Hilltop Tennis Club, where nothing is like it seems, and where there’s the shadow of two twin conjoined brothers, Arthur and Cole. The game is short but it’s all very well condensed and there are a bunch of gory and violent scenes which are pretty shocking.

Bloody Service (BS) is CASE’s first of hopefully many 80s throwback horror projects. The Argentina-based studio has been in the biz for ages but as it turns out, has been holding out on us! BIG TIME!! What lulled me into the bloodlust was firstly its brand; a slasher-FMV-VN title and right then and there, I knew I had to join in on the fun!! Ironically, I’ve never played any games with full on senseless, evading a killer type (guess the closest is Until Dawn) but I watched like hundreds of those, so it’s long overdue :P

Killing Stream
Killing Stream is a feature-length, interactive thriller with horror elements, in which fate of the main character depends entirely on the viewer. It tells the story from a first person perspective to intensify the immersion and put audience in the main character’s shoes.
Try to survive… Killing Stream.

It doesn’t show its hand until it will have tested the patience of many, but I think in the pantheon of modern FMV titles it’s sufficiently interesting to recommend (with some caveats).
Consider me an avid indie FMV game dabbler . Over time I’ve realised that the real beauty of such interactive films, much like VR games, isn’t that they continuously break new ground towards some singularity future entertainment form. It’s that indie creator spirit that flows through their design and writing and all the quirks and eccentricities that come with that. I’m British, so I always love the underdog.

As a big fan of FMV games, I give this a 6 out of 10. So a mild recommendation mostly for other fans of the genre. There are just too many elements here that could be improved on to rate it any higher, some of which have been mentioned in other reviews.
There are some tracked playthrough stats like tact and honesty that are poorly explained in relation to the game, to the point I don’t think they have any impact other than reflecting choices you’ve made. There’s no situation where you aren’t tactful enough to continue down a certain path or anything like that. But at the same time there are the stats of denial and acceptance that determine your ending. So some of the stats matter and some don’t and that’s never really made clear.

Death Come True
Coming from the same creator of Danganronpa, Death Come True is a marvelous FMV with a very interesting and genius gameplay. You play as a person who woke up in a hotel room with no memories of what brought him to this place. He’ll meet people who’ll tell him what is his identity, or what they thought he is. I’m not going to give away much about the story because it’ll be more fun for you to discover it yourself.

It has multiple endings, and the most interesting part that if you die, the game will restart but the main character will still have a memory of whatever event happened and the people he met. This will give you a chance to take different choices and decisions.

I recommend this game, but I’d be lying if I said it didn’t leave me disappointed. Death Come True comes to us from the developer of the Danganronpa series and is a FMV mystery title. As the story plays out, the game will occasionally prompt you to make a choice where you then witness the outcome of your decision; like a Choose Your Own Adventure novel. However, that’s where my primary criticism of the game comes in. Despite the illusion of choice, DCT is actually very linear. Usually you are left with deciding between one of two paths, but making the “incorrect” decision often leads to a quick Game Over and the option to continue the game at the last branch in the story line, so you can make the other choice and advance. It doesn’t always play out like this, but in the interest of avoiding spoilers, I’ll ease up on getting more specific. Also, this game is a lot shorter than I was expecting. In 3.4 hours, I earned all the achievements and witnessed all the branching outcomes. Granted, there is a fast-forward option that I used to bypass scenes that had already played out in a previous playthrough, but I still wanted a little more meat on this bone. So, why do I recommend it? Because it’s not a bad game. The story is interesting, albeit not as mind-blowing as I was hoping. Just know that you’re getting a bite-sized, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch-esque experience and not much else. With experience in the Zero Escape and Danganronpa series' prior to playing this game, it’s conceivable my expectations were too high. Nevertheless, I look forward to the seeing what Too Kyo Games comes up with next. But as it concerns DCT, I recommend waiting for a sale.

The Light Remake
I enjoyed this game. You start in an abandoned Russian facility that is in a state of crumbling disrepair. You explore the various floors and learn about what happened through a series of notes found along the way. Played from a first person perspective, part of the game is above ground and part is an especially dark maze-like underground bunker. You have the option of a flashlight and/or a lighter to guide you and your choice will have an effect on the ending you experience. The sound track enhances the feeling of being alone and, in the bunker, the sounds increased my sense of stress and panic as I kept circling in the dark.

Nice walking sim, with a much deeper story and message than expected.
Short, but at the price, it feels worth it tome. On sale? Yeah, grab it if you like walking sims with very good visuals, moody and appropriate music and game audio, and a few relatively easy puzzles.
Take screenshots, or notes, you have no way to review notes you already read to see the clues they may offer. Puzzle solutions are not so in-your-face that they are totally obvious, many ore in notes or on walls.
Ran well enough on my MSI GS75 Stealth laptop (i7 9750/2070 RTX MaxQ/ 16 GB DDR4), though it did make the fans run up a wee bit. I expect the game will run slightly better on my desktop. No major issues, just a few visual artifacts here and there (some clipping and visible seams if I tried to find them), and the claw game was a bit of a PITa trying to pick up the item that drops from it (pushed the item away from the game machine, and had to pause the game and continue from the main menu to get the game to let me pick it up). So a few minor issues, no major bugs or glitches in my first playthrough.

I think there’s a bug? I can’t get my bad ending 2 and 3?

Nice mystery and for a good price too! The actors/actresses did a great job acting out their roles. The story plot was really interesting and I love how you can use the flowchart to change your decisions rather than having to restart the game from the very beginning. If you are a fan of mystery games, point & click, and loves a good story, I would recommend giving this game a try.

MADE VR : Interactive Movie - 01. Run away!
The only choice which matter is the last one.
Bad acting and story.
I do not recommend this game.

This game is a bigscreen VR version of the desktop experience. I will be reviewing the English language version of it.
If you’re buying this for VR: Don’t. Just buy the flatscreen version and play that in VR instead with your choice of BigScreen or Virtual Desktop app. Nothing about this game is improved by being in VR.
The game also starts entirely in Korean, with even the text for “English” in the options in Korean. Not helpful, and not a good sign. The dub is… serviceable, but I wish there was a subtitled version instead. It’s honestly very distracting.

Unlife
Story
After the invention and uncontrolled use of nuclear weapons at the end of World War II, humanity almost destroyed itself in endless conflicts. Dust eclipsed the sun, and global warming caused all the glaciers to melt. The remnants of the scarred land turned the ocean into a muddy slush, in which the evolutionary process began under the influence of radiation. In the poisonous water, a parasite appeared that mutated almost all living things. But there were people who managed to survive in this nightmare and adapt. In the vast expanses of the Black Ocean, they built many platforms where they worked and survived. What used to be used for war has become a bulwark of life. Ships and submarines became the main travel arteries. The main character of the game — the last survivor on his platform, he is seriously ill, but decides to leave his station, and go on a submarine to other platforms, along the way trying to help other survivors and find the way to salvation and healing.
Gameplay
The game is a 2d platformer in which you need to overcome various obstacles, swim under water, search for weapons and supplies, and destroy merciless monsters. The hero will have to move between platforms on a large submarine from the Second World War. The player will also have the opportunity to personally control a small submarine. Collecting various trash, you can create items on the workbench necessary for survival. The genetic material of the killed creatures can help cure the hero of the disease, which will affect the end of the game.

Pros and cons are down below) Don’t forget to drop a like if it was useful! Check out one chapter of the game here (I took the developers request and didn’t include the ending in the video to avoid any major spoilers, and likes and subs are highly appreciated and encourages, of course :3):
Advantages:
1. The game looks incredible (I mean, obviously as it is a part-game, part-movie thingy). Still, there are so many nice scripted scenes of enemy jumping from behind the corners and noticing you. Even looking in the spy glass, one can note lots of different animations for the same action of enemy walking by the door. The attention to details is very appealing.

great idea for public domain films. while they are free in many forms, this is another good option.
i have played through all the dlc currently. 10 dlc + base game = 11 films.
is it “horror” well, definition of horror extends greatly to many things
while some would be more considered “scifi” than horror, its more of the consensus that each film is categorized as horror film.
