They broke the Evrima version pretty bad a few months ago and left it that way, for all but a few new test servers they operate ( extremely poorly, I might add). So all the community servers have bugs saving your dinosaurs and most have fallen to 0 and even shut down operations. A few reverted back to the original version of the game. That version is a dead-end development wise, but I guess a solution for some is you want to play yesterdays years game. Things for a new player are just too messed up right now so hold off until after Evrima update 4 or even possibly update 5 is out. The mechanics are really changing now so it could be the best game then or very possibly a waste of money. Before, all of this I would of said buy it for sure, as my 1000+ hours played in Evrima shows.

Dinosaurs Prehistoric Survivors
I just completed the game today and before I get into my thoughts of the game keep in mind that this is an Early Access Game which has been out for only 16 days. That being said you can’t expect it to be on the same level as a game that has been in Early Access for months or the same level as a finished product. Onto my thoughts…
After 20.1 hours of gameplay I have found that this game is well built for the most part and is well thought out. The game requires using a different play style at the different phases of your dinosaur’s development. The way you set your dinosaur’s stats really does affect how easy or hard the game is.

This game is pretty fun and pretty tense every once in a while it needs some improvements though:
-Different roars
-Add more dinosaurs in campaign mode
-
All mechanics except growing in free roam
-
If it’s possible, add herds for you to come across or join
-
Add roaming utahraptor packs
-
and nesting (nesting would be a good idea because in both free roam and campaign it would give you something to do once you’re fully grown)
-
and possibly (to add realism and since it’s single player) add a sleeping system

Isles of Pangaea
Pretty unique little dinosaur simulator as it has some choices not usually found in dinosaur sims.
Isles of Pangaea has dinosaurs such as dimetrodon, sarcosuchos, archelon, and compsognathus…yup, that’s right, the tiny lizards from Jurassic Park: Lost World…few dino games offer this dinosaur to play with.
In fact, you start off the game with a choice of either Compsognathus or Pteranodon…or Archelon or Oviraptor…and you earn evolution points by eating (DO YOU GET POINTS BY KILLING)…

I have tried the other dinosaur games i have found on steam. Such as Saurian and prehistoric survivors. i don’t play multiplayer so i don’t know what those games are like. But if you want a single player dino game then get this one. Aquatic and flying dinosaurs are playable and you can be a stegosauras that alone is worth my money

Saurian
Saurian… Where do I begin. This was a near-personal game to me as I connected with it so well. As you may have gathered from my profile picture alone, I love dinosaurs, and this was right up my alley.
Though in EA and very, very buggy as of the time of this review ( 30/11/2017) It still proved some great content and a realistic view into the life of Dakotaraptor. (More playables added soon: In order: Pachycephalosaurus, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus rex then Ankylosaurus and Anzu)
Positives:
-Feels great, every minute movement and turn (Except Jumping, ocassionally) just feels amazing.

Very few games let you play as a dinosaur. And the ones that do are based more at their monstrous appearance rather than what they really are: Animals.
Saurian is definitely one of a kind. There is no dinosaur game to date that allows you play as dinosaurs in their natural habitat but above all else. Deploying as much accuracy as possible.
The idea of a game like this was long overdue and it was about time we got it. Does it deliver?
Disclaimer:
I know this game is in Early Access. This game is not nearly half of what the developers intend. The game constantly changes, adding in new animals and updating gameplay to make it function better while making it all the more fun.

ARK: Survival Of The Fittest
This game saved my life.
I am 55.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and adopted our son together. They are now both 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I found myself lost and miserable. I was self destructive. I got so mad one day from everything spiralling out of my control that I punched some concrete in a moment of overwhelming emotion. That caused me to break my 5th metacarpal in my right hand… my working hand… my games hand.. the hand that I held and carried my children to bed with.. The hand I desperately needed to make sure I could continue to provide.

Have you ever imagined what it would it would feel like to jump off one of Gandalf’s eagles, use a parachute and begin to lob some 10-15 grenades at a terrifying assortment of Giant monkeys, Stegos, and T-Rexes awaiting below? Neither had I, which is what makes this game so very fun!
But in all seriousness I’ll preface this review by saying this is an excellent game that i’ve thoroughly enjoyed and will continue to enjoy playing, but like any game, it has its pros and cons, and i’ll try to point out the aspects of the game here that i’ve found most enjoyable or sometimes a bit frustrating.

Dinosaurs A Prehistoric Adventure
I don’t have a lot to say about Dinosaurs: A Prehistoric Adventure, it looked promising. I thought this would be a really cool RPG game but with dinosaurs. But sadly this game isn’t what I was hoping for. For starters it looked promising but it fell flat on it’s face. The game is frustrating, the combat system is really awkquard. And the control system sucked. When I was fighting another dinosaur I had trouble with the buttons during the combat, I knew which buttons to push but when I pushed a button to do a light attack and block and heavy attack and so on and so forth, I kept getting my ass kicked, I got to the point that I just got fustruated than having fun with this game. The graphics are so-so but they are nothing special. Also another problem with this game is unlike a lot of video games where you have W,A,S,D to move around, you’ve got to use your mouse and click on a certain spot in order to make your dinosaur move, and I thought what was the point of that. This game sadly failed to live up to my expectations. But hopefully all is not lost, the makers of this game has given us another dinosaur-themed game called Dinosaurs: Prehistoric Survivors. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for that game and hopefully the makers have improved since this game. I don’t recommend playing this game.

You get to be a dinosaur and it’s free.
Obvoiusly game needs work, and hopefully is a WiP.
For those confused about the controls:
“Alpha 1” is the “1” key on your keyboard, “Alpha 2” is “2” and so on.
1,2,3 are your main attack abilities, light, medium, heavy
4 is your special ability
spacebar is block
left alt makes you jump (you should jump everywhere)
5 makes you eat whatever your dino type needs to eat
6 makes you drink water
“T” does some radar thing
“X” will show you all the keybinds on the screen

When the game was released, this game was my favorite survival game, maps, jungle, tame dinosaurs, crafting, almost everything.
But since they created the TEK tier and the new maps, everything is gone.
It looks more like galactic fights than a survival game with dinosaurs. The essence that made it great has been lost.
Now when fighting pvp, either you are in a tribe with 5 friends or more, with a lot of tek or you do nothing. I recommend playing it in the Primitive Plus mode or else on PvE servers

ARK Park
Edit 2: Really didn’t want to change my rating from positive to negative but there’s still no fix for the save bug that prevents me from progressing at all in this game and the devs now appear to have abandoned it. Still no way to aquire eggs in game despite the devs saying there is which I assume is part of the bugs affecting my game and if I import from Ark evolved, they’re gone next time I reload the game. A real shame this game is bugged and abandoned as it had a lot of potential, I’m really disappointed. If you run WMR make sure your saves are working ok during the trial period by shutting the computer down and restarting the program twice (the first save works, but no progress will occur after this) or you might get caught out like me if you have the same issue :(

This is very much a cash grab. but a lovely one. My guess is Snail Games got access to all the awesome models and animations from Studio Wildcards Ark Survival Evolved and threw together a few environments with the dinosaurs having some simple AI and a few animations. The movement options are few, teleport which works as expected, and trackpad locomotion, the head stearing kind that i personally hate. With trackpad locomotion it seems like your hitbox always stays in the middle of your playspace, and never updates to where you actually are in the room. With all these flaws, i still like it. Studio Wildcard made some awesome dinosaur models, and the environments are really good. The sound design is great aswell. The experience, which sadly is turned into a half-funtioning game, divides everything up into different areas that you teleport between. the map is not connected with gateways, you just teleport. This makes it feel like it is just a collection of stuff and not a whole experience. a lot of potential was lost due to the approach snail studios took with the material they had. hopefully they will do something similar in the future, but with a well thoughtout plan on how to do it well before beginning. There are a couple of dinosaur and mosasaur experiences out there, like the pleiosaurus in Summer funland, some other swimmers in ocean rift, a couple in Nature treks VR, and ofcourse robinson the journey. there are more, but i think these are the noteworthy ones. I think Ark Park is one of the greatest dinosaur experiences and definitely worth 26:- that i got it for on sale, once i got rid of all the blurr that is. To get rid of the blur you have to do as HOSHI82 says in a post,

Beasts of Bermuda
we got a game at the begining around the release with bug that was okey to deal with , now after all the change the game as become a absolutly grind machine with less fun , garbage balance and lesser quality from update/fix ! the game was okeyish and understable at the start but now this is just a mess.. are they going to listen to their community demand or continuing to favor hype from Placeholder market item they work with and commisioned model/animation? ps : I miss the fun and i wish it back.

Beasts of Bermuda has been a hell of a ride.
Over my various accounts, I have roughly 6,000 hours total in this game.
I purchased this game on December 24th, 2018, and started truly focusing on the game in May of 2019. I loved the game. It was fun, colorful, and had a lot of unique creatures that no other dinosaur game could compare with, and best of all, growth took so little time that it wasn’t truly difficult to actually jump into the game.
Now, scroll ahead to late 2019, where growth was significantly slowed down. Personally, this is what began the downward spiral of this game. It would take up to 16 hours to get any medium sized dinosaur to 1.2 (the typical adult stage in this game), with the shortest period of time being 2 hours for the Velociraptor. While it was annoying, the smaller players could still feasibly compete with the big bois, as long as they had dedication and played smartly.
