Hanefield Asylum
For a solo developed game, this played pretty well. The jump scares weren’t obvious like in a lot of games, and offered a good sense of fear throughout the game. The additional content after you complete the game was great. A lot of action in a small amount of time, and added more depth to the story of Hanesfield Asylum. Definitely a great buy for less than $10.

I actually had some fun playing this - I thought it was a great premise and the spooks did work really well. However the lack of a save game is a major thumbs down. I can cope with the excessive shots enemies need to bring them down and some glitches here and there - but I’m doing a series on this game on my YouTube channel and haven’t finished the game in one go so I’ve had to go back to the start every time I want to play the next section.
Enjoyed the horror theme though, the devs nailed it.

Mr. Prepper: Prologue
The Meta:
This is a free prologue, as a feature-limited demo of the full game which expands upon the content that was made available in the demo from July. You have absolutely no reason not to try this.
I’ve played rather extensively through the beta testing, and can attest that the devs are incredibly responsive to the player community, both for bug fixing and implementing player-suggested improvements or modifications, and I fully expect that behavior to apply to the full game.
The game includes no microtransactions.

Originally, I thought the prologue would end in 30 days at most, but later I found out that I was still too young and naive. On the first day of the second month, I angrily ate all my food. I have many cans which used all the money I made to buy, and with lots of blueberry milkshakes and carrot soup. It’s ridiculous that I didn’t have diarrhea after eating it all! Ok, I have to quit the game in dismay!
Talk about the advantages and shortcomings of this game. This game is still very creative, painting style is good, it is said that the official version has more content. In terms of content, the game is undoubtedly a success. But the game also has some shortcomings:

Mr. Prepper
I’ll be honest and say that I wasn’t sure if I liked it the first few hours but boy did I change my mind. I was expecting to actually have to survive in the shelter I created and see the aftermath of the wasteland left after the world goes to hell and I was puzzled as to why this sort of game play wasn’t added in but it’s still a fantastic base building , survival game and I hope they’ll add DLC in the future, where you’ll actually be able to survive in the bunker or even get to experience what happens after landing the rocket .

Mr. Prepper. A survival base building game that’s not about survival and not about base building but purely story-driven.
TL;DR: If you can get it cheap (10 USD/EUR), give it a shot. But if you want a survival challenge or expect another game like This War Of Mine, STAY AWAY. It has SO much unused potential. It could be so much more.
PROS:
-
Interesting story. Mr. Prepper is not your average guy.
-
The typical “just one more day” game design that sucks you in.
-
3 (4) NPCs you interact with that are all kinda likable.

ABH
I played a version that was accidentally uploaded to Steam, which was later corrected by the developers. After playing the true version, I can say that I recommend this game. The game is very atmospheric and does well with it’s sound design which had me on edge most of the playthrough both in the unfinished build and the final product. There were a few bugs I experienced but nothing gamebreaking. I got this on sale for $6 and spent about 90 minutes playing through the finished product. All in all a decent horror that didn’t stretch out too long and become predictable.

I’m trying to like this game but it needs a few quality of life changes before I can recommend it to other people for purchase.
A graphical options menu would be great with a brightness or gamma slider because I honestly can’t see a thing. All I hear is a bunch of people moaning and I already have poor eyesight so my eyes took a beating trying to play this. Actually having difficultly getting my eyes to focus after about an hour of this which is troubling to say the least.
The journal is a little bit too vague. It says I have to find a way out. I think that is literally always the objective of every horror game ever, so I didn’t really need a book to tell me that I needed to get out of there. What I did need, was a clue as to what the game actually wanted me to do next. Wandering in the dark straining my eyes wasn’t fun at all.

Inferno - Beyond the 7th Circle
Inferno - Beyond the 7th Circle is a first-person RPG with a horror theme that’s a sequel/spiritual successor to The 7th Circle - Endless Nightmare. Plot-wise there’s no connection between the two games–in the 7th Circle you played a man’s subconscious fighting his inner demons, and in Inferno you play a human survivor fighting literal demons who have all but conquered Earth.
It’s hard to review Inferno without comparing it to the 7th Circle because the two games are so similar. Both are first-person dungeon crawlers, and the basic gameplay of the two games are identical. Nearly all of the enemies are identical too. (there are only 7 or so new ones not counting palette swaps) If you liked one you’ll probably like the other, and vice versa. Where the games differ is that The 7th Circle was restricted to a single dungeon with 20-odd floors and had a permadeath/metaprogression mechanic; Inferno is more of a sprawling open world and abandons the permadeath model for a more traditional RPG.

Finished the game
Pros:
-Enjoyed character customization and the control given to me for said character growth.
-Enjoyed RNG rolls for gear.
-Enjoyed combo build up in combat.
-Enjoyed utilizing spells and status ailments for a varied combat experience.
-Enjoyed the 1st 2/3rd of the game in terms of difficulty.
-The setting is very unique and I feel it will likely become the new sensation as cyberpunk dies down.
-Enjoyed punching out demon lords and the duke of hell with my bare hands 10/10 would fist hell spawn again~

Red Falcon
History
You are the Red Falcon, Earth’s last hope. Your mission is to save the planet from a sectarian heresy that is invading Earth in a huge armada. Who they are and why they arrived is unknown, but one thing is certain: these sectarians are the most dangerous beings in the galaxy. By controlling a unique Soviet development, the flying Volga class “Earth-Cosmos”, you will have to hold out on the battlefield as long as you can.
And remember: in your hands the future that never was.
Features
You have technology at your disposal: the Orbital Research Institute “Lenin-407”, which allows you to study enemy weapons and then use them, and the Orbital Laser Launcher “ZHEK-1505”, which shoots a huge laser that pierces through all enemies.
Collect debris from enemy ships that serves as fuel for the laser machine, research material for the Research Institute, and building material for the majestic paneled house you’ll erect.
Use all these technologies wisely to destroy as many sectarian rats as possible.
That’s not all!

An interesting and entertaining synergy of two classic genres: Invaders and Tetris

Bullet Wave
Even though it’s short and quite buggy, Bullet Wave is a fun way to kill half an hour. I’ve played it for about twice that, 58 minutes to be exact, and I don’t really plan to go back to it anytime soon, but considering it’s only a dollar, why wouldn’t you try it?

Pretty good for what it is. Short, fun to play. Could use a few fixes here and there but other than that it’s not bad. The boss is a little too tanky in my opinon but other than that it’s good.

Tattletail
So, this is one of my scariest games yet, but SCP was definetly the more challenging, besides that they are many pros and cons that i found while playing this magnificent game, each one will have a detailed explanation about why I beleive this.
PROS
The atmosphere was simply fantastic, it kept me on my seat, something most horror games just couldnt coprehend, the sounds and spooky sounds always kept the feeling eerie and creepy, which should always be a Pro for Games like these
The mechanics are also fairly decent and amazing, took me 2 hours to figure it out but in the end, it turned to an easy yet challenging experience that i personally find enjoyable and Reasonable for these type of horror survival games

Tattletail follows an unknown but presumably young main protagonist during the week of Christmas engaging various questionable activities with their newly mysterious toy Tattletail. Although they’re aware opening this present prior to Christmas is risky, it becomes unexpectedly encouraged once strange supernatural events occur after the toy is removed from its packaging. Tattletail is seemingly a good toy made for the whole family until it’s later revealed something more threatening is prepared to reign over the protagonist’s household.

Silence Channel
This is a very scary game to play! Although, they never explained why it was called “Silence Channel,” never explained why the couple in the picture had no faces, and at the beginning they said it was a cottage but then in the end it turned out to be a mansion but there were some weird rooms you had to go in that were also never explained. Some of the puzzle were definitely EXTREMELY hard sometimes, but if you go into your inventory it will give you a hint for how to solve the puzzles! There was one bug that made me so mad… I exited the game and it would not let me continue and i was more then halfway done! I had to go and speed run the entire game again in order to get back to my spot! Overall though I would recommend it! If you are not very picky about details and would like a bunch of pretty good jump scares, I’d definitely play this game!

Took 7 hrs because I have Bipolar Depression and I had a bad episode today and forgot to stop my game
This is a absolute hidden gem of a game, I’m surprised this game was so good and for ONLY $5!! The loading screens had great quotes and I loved that the puzzles actually made you think and pay attention as well as use some math skills. Saman, this was a great game my friend; you and your team did a fabulous job creating this game!!
Graphics: (10/10) My favorite PS1 look and it was very well done on this game.
