Final Assault
YES!
I don’t write many reviews, despite playing many games for hours and hours on end.
However, recommending this game is surely worth my time. As I am about to reach my 200-hour mark of time spent playing this game, I can confidently say I’ve enjoyed nearly every aspect of the game and the community.
Everything I love about Virtual Reality and Gaming is included in this game. It has beautifully designed maps, a fun sense of immersion and control, while retaining an essential element of simplicity to its gameplay. Despite this simplicity, the game still promotes the potential to learn new tactics and strategies that are utterly important in defeating your next opponent. I’ve learned this the hard way by doing the same exact thing a few matches in a row and eventually start to lose and need to change up and innovate. Even if this isn’t your style of game, you can appreciate what the developers have created.

This game is fantastic, as good as Skyrim VR. It is like playing with tiny detailed realistic army figures, a childhood dream I’m sure many share. Looks so cool! And I have over 70 vr games. This is a REAL RTS game; some other reviewers are saying that it isnt. It almost caused me not to buy the game, because I’m not a fan of tower defense games. It is a real RTS because the troop trucks are sort of like economic buildings in that if you destroy them it messes up the opponents production of troops. There are several factions you can choose from, each with their own unique unit types and with different unit costs. That adds to the strategic aspect a lot!

Kittypocalypse
Kittypocalypse is a game about placing and upgrading the EXACT combination of towers in the EXACT right location at the EXACT right time. Do not be fooled by the cute kitties in the trailer. This game is freaking hard! Also, you’ll be zoomed out most of the time trying to prevent the constant advance of their armored mechs, so usually you will just see them as cat-eared dots on a map :)
While this may sound like a less engaging experience than,s ay, Defense Grid or even Sanctum; I would stilll argue that it’s compelling–albeit in a different way. Starting a level with 5 or 8 tower slots may feel too simple for a tower defense game, but it’s still quite satisfying figuring out how to work with those tower slots to scale your defense.

Wow!!! This is an incredibly well done (probably the best all around polished Vive game in fact) tower defense game. If I had known it was this good, I’d have bought it a long time ago and wouldn’t have bothered to wait for a sale.
Edit: I’ve had this game for three weeks now and already have 19 hours on it - had the Vive for 8 months now and 19 hours is the most time on any of them by far. Look at all the reviews and see how many hours people have in this thing. Save your marriage, save your job, save yourself and don’t buy this game or it’ll consume you and affect everything you value and love.

Alien Extraction
There’s a big alien mess and somebody’s gotta clean it up…
Control the alien infested space station from the safety of your security desk in this funny, brain bending strategy game. Guide the station janitor, Lenny, through dangerous winding levels and solve the station’s mysteries along the way.
Use every tool at your disposal
-
Control doors, weapons systems and airlocks from the comfort of your security desk
-
Scour the video feeds for alien movement or for lost clues
-
Pilot drones to explore the station, distract aliens and lead Lenny to safety
-
Traverse the facility minimap; just don’t always trust it to always be accurate
-
Attempt to mute the station AI when it starts insulting you…
Outsmart the aliens…
…or just burn them to a crisp! Aliens can hear, see and smell Lenny; it’s your job to make sure these wily beasts don’t get too close. Outsmart them with trickery and distraction, outrun them with quick reactions and tactics or out…burn them with flamethrowers; it’s really up to you.
Defeat the baddie
Some smart guy thought it would be a good idea to upload Terminator 2 to the station’s media database. Unfortunately, the facility AI enjoyed the movie a bit too much and went rogue, releasing all of the alien specimens and generally causing a big mess. Luckily for you, Lenny the janitor is here and big messes are his speciality. Alien Extraction contains a fully voice acted, lighthearted narrative to take back the station and reboot the evil AI.

Defenders of the Realm VR
First a disclaimer… I played the Beta version so many of the things I’m going to mention may have been fixed in the final version.
The game is in essence a Strategy Tower Defense game combined with a First Person Shooter in VR. That, in it of itself is great! As is typical with TD games, you can use the money earned to purchase/place various traps in the enemy’s path before each wave. On top of that, you can teleport yourself around shooting the enemy using a very fast, fully automatic, crossbow with laser-pointer accuracy. There are 10 maps and two modes, stage and endless, to choose from.

This was actually a really fun game. I was a pretty big fan of tower defense games back in the day on my Android phones/tablets. There’s something special about being able to see everything up close and help your traps out with some additional sniping. I’m realy looking forward to getting some additional content. More traps, more game modes, more maps, more enemies, more everything.
I think with some additional polish and maybe some more game modes (I’ll always want this to be multiplayer) this game could really shine. There were a few little bugs that I noticed that would randomly affect me, though. Sometimes I’d be standing still, looking around, and then I’d notice that I was sliding to my right (for no reason). Other than that, it worked surprisingly well.

MoonStrike
OMG - finally! The first true 3D VR RTS since Lazerbait. And this one is multiplayer. This makes me very happy. Only problem is I don’t see anyone else playing yet! I’ve only played against the AI! Graphics and sounds great, no bugs I’ve noticed yet. Takes maybe 5-10 mins to play a match? I think I’ve played about 8 so far. Kind of weird that you can only look at the leaderboards by starting a new game. Would be cool if you could grab the map and manipulate it like you can in other VR RTSes. Zoom in and zoom out by grabbing and expanding or contracting, etc. Sometimes I trip over my couch trying to reach a far-away planet.

This game is a fantastic strategy game!
You have to exercise lateral thinking when executing attacks because
each galaxy(atleast that ive played) are all different shapes and orbits.
Definitely reccomended for people who are curious about large scale space warfare.

Saga of the Void: Admirals
Its great. Got the homeworld vibe going. Though could use some polish
First RTS game on the Vive that has a great sense of scale. Its aweing to see ships duke it out from the bridge of your capitol ship.
Pros:
Skirmish Mode with varying difficulties
Very intuitive controls, was very easy to get pick up and play.
Absolutely massive sense of scale.
Variety of Ships with different roles and attributes
Active Dev.
Cheap!
Cons
Sound FX, Music could use some work.
While the ship models are beautiful, the visual effects (explosions) could use an update.

This game is great! It’s like playing with toys when you were a kid, having all kind of cool battles with your imagination. Now its all in 3D and with some pretty cool models. This game is a lot of fun and I look forward to how it develops. I think it was money well spent. I have just about every vr game for vive and this one is not like any other game.
Basically, you controll a fleet of ships, each ship with various function. For instance, one ship is a miner. You send it to mine asteroids and bring in money to spend on combat ships like destroyers, and missile ships. You then use these ships to destory your enemies fleet. It’s pretty simple and straight forward once you figure out the controls. You can scale the play area and ships so they are life size (huge) or down to the size of a Matchbox or Hot Wheels car.
