CUNNING STRATEGY AND THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP ARE YOUR GREATEST WEAPONS (BUT GUNS AND MAGIC HELP TOO)
Forever and Ever is an anime-inspired turn-based strategy game with billions of different heroes ready for adventure. In a world of heroes and villains battling for immortal glory, a strange storyteller falls from another world. As this mysterious bard, recruit uniquely generated future legends with diverse appearances, backstories, and personalities. Only your tactics and the bonds of their friendship can lead them to eternal fame and fortune!
CUNNING STRATEGY
-
Build a team from 10 different character classes that support a wide range of tactics!
-
Battle with action-packed abilities that can be customized to fit your strategy!
-
Every fight is fair- win or lose based on your decisions, not how much you’ve been grinding!
THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP
-
Discover procedurally generated backstories to reveal your heroes' past, personality, and secret ambitions!
-
Forge friendships on the battlefield whose bonds will save them in clutch moments!
-
You’ll never see the same hero twice! Forever and Ever features over 5 billion uniquely-generated characters!
-
If they die, they’re gone forever (and ever)!
Whether your heroes are ancient defective gardening robots, magical animal children, zombified party addicts, or edgelords from the future, the journey starts with an interview! Learn about each candidate’s strengths, weaknesses, backstories, and personality, and find the heroes that are right for you. Maybe your team needs an Outlaw, a rockstar gunslinger who can’t stop dishing out damage? Or a Crusader, a bulky knight-officer who shields your team from harm with the power of THE LAW? Or a blasphemous Heretic, who dares to use their magic to protect instead of fight? These character classes and more await you in the world of Forever and Ever!
Guide these heroes into battle, and soon they’ll discover Secret Techniques: modifications and additions to their original abilities to expand your tactical options. Develop a fierce warband that fights with your personal flair!
Throughout their journey, heroes develop bonds and relationships that strengthen over time. These bonds show their true power in heroes’ most dire moments, and can save them from certain death. A Crusader and a Punk, once enemies on opposite sides of the law, now fierce comrades, push each other to fight beyond their mortal limits. An Exorcist shouts a word of warning to her wife, letting her dodge a deadly blow at the last moment. A Hermit heals his rival from the brink of death, and friendship begins to replace their antagonistic feelings. What story will you and your heroes tell?

This Is Not Chess
I’ll admit I bought this purely for the nostalgia that the graphics give me. It reminds me of a lot of gamemaker games that I was obsessed with in my youth.
The game itself however, is suprisingly deep. Each unit has a type and a list of techniques and these techniques take time to pull off. But here’s the catch: you can pay action points to speed it up. You’d think you’d be constantly doing that but action points are shared between the whole team and they are also used to move your units and spawn new ones.

A breath of fresh air in the current gaming climate! Story and character based game kind of like Disco Elysium, albeit shorter. Big game world, a lot of interaction and different ways to solve the crimes. Some tips I would give to new players:
spec your character right away, you have like 8 points and you have to manually enter each one. A bit unintuitive but you can get the hang of it. Be sure to add your 2 new points after every murder solved. humor and charm go a long way when talking to NPCs.

Everdream Valley
Finally holidays! This summer, for the first time ever, you will spend it alone at your grandparent’s farm. Two months without mom and dad. Only you and your dog! Two months during which you have to take care of the grandparent’s farm growing plants and milking animals, well at least some of them.
You will plant, water, gather crops, and fight (sometimes for life) against pests.
You’ll need to clear nettles, build pens, and keep the animals on the farm happy.
You can sell your crops and buy or upgrade equipment with the money you earn.
However, you will not be able to do everything right away, to build a pen you need to get wood and tools first. Fish are much more cooperative when you can offer them fatter worms. Oh, and remember to talk to your grandparents often and watch for guests. You never know where the next farming mission is coming from.
From the very beginning, your dog can support you in farming tasks, for example you can use him to herd a scattered flock of sheep. But this dog, in addition to a solid bodyweight, has also a lot of character. It is up to you and your training skills whether your companion will help you or get in your way.
There is also a cat. At first, he will not be happy with the new company. It’s your job to convince him that you are a worthy ally. If you succeed, you can use him to discover new missions, hidden places, pest control, and many other tasks on the farm.
The farm is located in the Everdream Valley. You will find there a few biomes with different flora, fauna, and missions. Fields, meadows, forests, a lake, and a river are waiting for you to discover new secrets and tasks, from gathering and sometimes growing fruits and mushrooms to catching fish, collecting insects, and even building a treehouse.
After a day of running through the meadows, fighting with nettles, and sheep riding, it would be good to rest from attractions in a comfy bed. Nothing of that. While sleep will eventually come to you, it will by no means be calm.
Everdream Valley is not your ordinary valley and its residents have their own lives, plans, and secrets.
In your dreams, with the help of a magic hat, you will be able to play the role of various animals. Remember that what you do during at day and night has an impact on the farm. If you don’t fend off the wolves as a dog, you may not have anyone to build pens for when you wake up. The goals of two ducks, who seemingly do not interfere with the life of the farm, may turn out to be completely contrary to the plans of the inhabitants of the henhouse. A cat that is at most a bit cranky during the day at night may aspire to be a war criminal, and war, war never changes.
In all this confusion, there is somewhere an answer to the question of what is actually going on on this beutiful but bizarre farm. You have two months of holidays to find out the answer. One thing is for sure. This will be the most peculiar summer ever.
ROGUERIA: Roguelikes X Tactics
IN A WORD: MAYBE
IN A NUTSHELL:
WHAT TO EXPECT: Strategy game. Turn-based tactics. Fantasy themed. Dynamically assigned pre-generated levels. Several individually themed chapters. Nodal maps of linked locations. Skill-oriented combat encountered. Small number of tactical factors. Defeat end-of-level bosses. Time-limiting rogue-lite mechanic. Relics provided collective combat modifiers. More complex than it looks. Single-player only. No real deck-building.

Full play through here (we beat it thank the lawd) once it uploads (cursor disappearing glitch 3:01:57) at : https://youtu.be/3uOyQDZvUsI
Game is amazing a super pleasant surprise I literally bought this to have steam points for the ox and it looked semi interesting. The music/sound effects/art style are super pleasing and keep the game really enjoyable throughout your whole play. The difficulty ramps up greatly in boss fights as you progress through the zones and the game will take quite a bit to beat I got to the third zone on my first play through and the boss graped me in the mouth. There’s different characters and upgrades you don’t get anything when you lose it doesn’t seem sadly, but there seems to be a lot for me to explore still. Some nice changes would be if you have enough movement to make an attack work if you could just use the attack and the character auto moves vs having to move then attack that’d be a nice quality of life change. Getting something unlocked for failed play throughs would be nice as well since this game gets really difficult

Hate Free Heroes RPG 3.0 [Upgrading to 3D and Leaving Steam / Final Sale]
I saw that this game had low reviews: so I felt bad for it. As I started playing it, I realized it was optimized for mobile as well, so that made more sense as to where all the reviews may have went. That aside… the game is actually: GREAT! Yeah! It made me feel like a really good RPG player lol. The tutorial teaches you only one button (Hah! For PC). Easiest tutorial ever! There is even an MP3 player function in this game to listen to some fun tunes!!! “Survive the Night” was my favorite! It was a must listen to everywhere the characters went. So you know that OST/Music are fun to listen to.

(Detailed)
This game may not the best game you will ever play, but it certainly lives up to its bill. Anyways, let’s go over the good and the bad:
The Good!
The old school RPG they promise is real: This really does play like an RPG of old, and if you have been looking for a turn-based RPG, then this will be something you can get into. You have many different options of attack, from regular atttacks to techniques/Justice Skills to healing skills, using items, etc. The exp. in this game feels really in place, as (until you get to the Elite section) you never really have to worry about grinding too much as you generally stay around the level of your enemies. This is nice if you hate grinding in games. There is alchemy among other things to make yourself stronger, and there are a few battles you might be able to skip if you want to. The game flows smoothly as a turn based RPG with a good battle system that can get you hooked on the game. Also you can get a helicopter early in the game to just zoom yourself to the dungeon you want to go to, but you don’t have to use it. Still its a nice perk to avoid mundane walking around. Your team is pretty balanced as well, although you must use the same 4 heroes. There is a general healer/buffer/magic user, two main dps, and a flex member which can heal/dot/damage/etc that is generally your most durable.

Little Moneybags
Summary: Trash, Fraudulent “Freemium” options, No care for the playerbase or game from the developers.
Game had good potential at the start. Content drops off fairly quickly, which is to be expected from an idle style game.
Some ingame premium purchases list rewards that you do not get. (This is commonly known as fraud in most of the world).
Weekly rewards that should go out every week are hit-and-miss as to whether you will receive them, and even contacting support doesn’t guarantee you’ll receive them.

Bubbleland
In Bubblelands you will lead a team of cartoon heroes - the brave bean brawler, the fluffy feline defender, and the outlandish onion with oseledets - through a series of tactical turn-based battles on a grid of hexes. Each hero on the team has a different potential use in battle, skill set and development opportunities. The combat rewards smart positioning and using skills appropriate to the situation on the battlefield.
On their way, the heroes may encounter characters who need their help and allies who will join their party and strengthen the team with their special powers. You can meet them later at the party’s camp, where the heroes can also improve their skills and buy upgrades.
Bubbles are what fuels the technology and economy of this land. However, one day the soapy resource ceased to flow from the taps and fountains. In the atmosphere of the apocalypse, three heroes set off on a journey through foreign lands to find out where the life-giving Bubbles have gone.
Tactical Yet Simple Combat
The game is rules-light, you’re not going to find long statblocks and hour-long battles here. You may just hop in for a few fights any time!
Simple Yet Deep Mechanics
Bubbleland is not crunchy, but you still have to think before you act. Cautious positioning of the heroes and planning your actions is crucial!
Deep story… Not Really!
The world and story of Bubbleland is colorful and fun to watch. Find out if fluffy cats, angry cucumbers and onion cossacks fighting each other over bubbles have any deeper meaning!
