Brocula
Brocula is a pixel art indie game created by a solo developer. The game is about a vampire named Brocula who has been asleep for 500 years and is woken up when a car crashes into his castle.
You play the role of Brocula whose money is useless in current times and his castle is crumbling. Roam around the town, talk to people, work to get money, gain skills, repair castle, cook food to gain stats, unlock new skills, make a reputation, farm lands, sell stuff, etc.
With over 40 hours of relaxing gameplay and an interactive storyline about creating relationships with unknown people, enjoy the beautifully crafted pixel art and fall in love with this vampire whose name is Brocula.
Enjoy the petting system in the game and gain their trust.
It is not a Role Playing Game without the fishing mechanics.

Fortified Swiss
I highly recommend playing Fortified Swiss. It is a challenging tower defense that nicely incorporates rpg elements. Being able to control my hero and fight mice while also building, repairing, and upgrading my buildings is a lot of fun. The game also has beautiful art and excellent sound design.

this game is super fun! very challenging levels that are hard to beat, but all the more rewarding when you do! receiving an early copy, i got to play through about half the game. each new level was unique in sound and design, feeling fresh and making you really feel as if you are a hero travelling through this world. once you start playing you get hooked, even as i lost m¨ltiple times i had fun and wanted to play again to win, crafting armor and making new strategies. a fun, unique game like no other. highly recommend to any game lover!

While it is essentially an adventure game, we incorporated lots of RPG elements to enrich the content of the game, like the drops of elixirs, herbs, potions, and mixtures.
WARTILE
Edit: I’ve won the game and it is pretty fun. The key factor to realize is that the archer is the most important character using the volley card. Once you get used to the game I really like the concept but it was challenging to mentally adjust to the different style of game (cool down vs turn based) coming from the turn based world. Using the slow down feature is essential until you get up to speed. On the higher levels it is absolutely critical to use the slow down feature to dodge tough opponents as them attack.

Tabletop quest for the Sagas
Wartile is a strategy game allowing the player to take command of a Norse warband on a quest to save their land from a mysterious plague. Developed by a very aptly named danish studio PlaywoodProject, the game plays as a miniature wargame. Each character in Wartile is represented by a wooden figurine, battling their way across adorably detailed dioramas. While the game had visibly limited resources to work with, the developers have fully committed what they had towards an idea of tabletop game brought to life. An idea, in my book, they firmly delivered upon.

I was expecting some revival of MOO2.
I started my first game at “Commander level”, expecting to take a quick and severe defeat, but learn enough for an enjoyable second round.
For the first 8 hours, it was fun: build your ships, evolve your captains, oh! there is a tech tree, great! And those aliens, are they friendly or not? Pirates, space travellers, threats, offers.. Excellent!
After 8 hours, I started to realize that:
1/ I did not made any strategic decision, I just clicked randomly on the various “evolution trees”, I did not experience a single defeat.
