Ancient Go
Early Access Day 1 review:
Edit: Thumbs up because it looks promising. (I’d hold off getting it until counting method issues are resolved, hopefully.)
Project seems promising. It includes basic tutorials for rules and scoring, a VS. AI mode and an Online multiplayer mode.
The AI is not particularly strong on any setting (Hard is when it starts playing slightly better moves, maximum tends to take a bit more time to play moves, but not a LOT of time.) So (at least at this stage) the AI is really meant for beginners. It would be nice to get a stronger one later down the line, but I’d rather see good multiplayer added than the focus be on AI.

“Ancient Go” aims to be an app for total beginners to Go, which is great. Currently, outside of “Ancient Go,” the only other app out there on Steam is “Crazy Stone Deep Learning -The First Edition-,” which is $79.99. However, “Crazy Stone” is arguably meant for committed Go players, who are much stronger at the game. So, “Ancient Go” is a cheaper alternative for “Crazy Stone” that allows the Steam community to start playing Go at a cheaper price. That said, “Ancient Go” has its strengths and weaknesses.

Mini Metro
Positives:
Though still in need of some refinement and balancing—and possibly some additional features—the core gameplay of Mini Metro scratches that city-building itch without requiring a major investment of time. You can play this on a break without worrying you’ll be sucked in for hours (though you won’t get bored if you did waste a day on it).
The interface is a case study in complex, context-sensitive functionality from simple interactions. Click, hover, drag and drag paths all combine to do just what you want without requiring a tutorial. Though you might spend your first game puzzling it out, it all just works how you’d expect on the first or second try. Pure, blissful affordance. If only more games thought out their interface so elegantly.

Mini Metro, currently available in Early Access (the game can be purchased but is still in development so some elements, such as sound in this case, are missing or unfinished), is a game about moving people. Where this may seem like an oversimplification, it is not, and the game is all the better for it. Other games of this sort focus on such elements as budget and specific regions, population density and specific destinations of interest to that population; but Mini Metro instead focuses on the general and the deliberately vague; and this works fantastically given the style of the game. There is no budget with which to be concerned, there are no apparent city divisions or districts. The placement of stations is random, and also out of the control of the player. In many ways, this almost makes the goal more true to life of a real world occupation, albeit without feeling like work: somebody is presenting the player with a scenario, and the goal is to make it work by connecting the stations, and keeping people moving.

Mini War - Three Kingdoms
More of a puzzle game, where you use weapon-named heroes to try and complete the objectives of each puzzle. Most of which require at least two play-thoughs of a puzzle. Those with some idea of Three Kingdom heroes may be able to associate weapons and heroes a bit easier. Recommend.

Very fun, very thought provoking and something lovely to relax and enjoy. The colour schemes are mesmerising and the shape concepts are easy to understand for players of all ages. I personally have been stuck on a few puzzles and wish there was a mobile version I could swap to so I could continue trying them when I have a moment whilst out and about. This is certainly a great concept for a mobile game and definitely worth the money.

The minimalist design was really nice looking. The levels at the start were really easy and helped to understand the mechanics but as I played they ramped up in difficulty fast. At some point it got too hard for me, but I’m pretty bad at puzzles like this. For $3 it’s definitely worth it if you like puzzle games. I just wish I could resize the window because it is so small in my monitor.

Fortification: tower defence
You have a main base, where your escape vehicle is. you protect it by creating turrets along the way to it.
where this game STANDS OUT is it has unlimited amounts of maps, as they are autogenerated from a random text. it has multiplayer. and you can alter the route on the maps by manipulating the ground up or down, this game is not just good, ITS GREAT! buy it. just do it, and try it, i bet you will not refund it. its THAT good.

I really want to like this game. Unfortunately it’s quite rough around the edges and has some major issues with it.
A few of the bigger issues that ding this game quite hard are.
1. Neirodata isn’t always rewarded after launching your rocket. This is the biggest issue since Neirodata is your research points in the game. It stops advancement in the game and getting the upgrades to optimize your towers. I had a massive source of frustration with this after 5-6 runs in a row and not getting a single reward. Even after attempting to play the game more I only get rewarded every 2-3 runs at best. This kills most of the fun with the game being the entire progression system, since beyond that its bare-bones.

Simple puzzle game, sure, but it was fun and I did enjoy my playthrough. 50 levels is a tad bit short and I did accidentally restart a couple times, but overall not bad for a quick puzzle fix.

Oasis: Dark Forest
If you like Tower Defense and Base Construction games;
If you like to defeat a large number of enemies through a reasonable array;
If you like concise and refreshing pictures;
If you like the Roguelike element
This is the game you’re looking for.
This is a land ruled by darkness, and you are the only light. Here is the Dark Forest;
You must protect your holy tree, which is the foundation of all life;
Your trees will form a solid defense line against the Dark Forest and the Ghost Army from the darkness;
Your strategy, operation and willpower will determine the direction of the war.
In the Dark Forest,
Each level has a carefully customized terrain structure, but trees, monsters and resources will be generated randomly, so each game is a new exploration;
You will randomly get three evolution items when each rank of enemy is defeated. How to choose the most suitable update will affect the direction of the war;
You will get the opportunity to evacuate safely in specific ranks. Although you will gain more from continuing to fight, if you mistakenly evaluate the situation, you will be defeated and get nothing in this battle;
The resources you collect in the level will be used to evolve your Technology Tree, so as to gain more power in subsequent battles.
Please don’t be confused by the concise style. Although it is very easy to get started, the war situation full of changes and challenges absolutely needs to be dealt with attentively.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have feedback, questions, or problems with the game. We’ll do our best to get back to you as quickly as possible and provide support if needed. Also let me know if you enjoyed the game, that means much to me!
Thank you for playing and your support!
