FAQ
-
Will there be a beta, and if so, when?
There will be a closed beta later on but currently, but I do not have any fixed dates yet.
-
Is this game really a deckbuilding game?
The term deckbuilding as it is commonly used in video games seems to be quite fitting, but instead of playing cards for combat, you have real-time Hack and Slash combat. If you are a board game player, the more appropriate term would be drafting.
-
How many people are working on this game?
The game is being developed only by me (Nikolas Crisci).

BLADESTORM: Nightmare
I’d say that a large amount of the reviews are simply unfair hate with possible neglected attention when it comes to settings.
To get it out the way, you can change the language to English via the Configuration Launcher, Its in a dropdown menu in the 2nd Tab I think. As for Frames it should be fixed by turning off the VSYNC, if you still have issues turn of some of the extra options like Anti Alias AO Shading etc ie things with an OFF option. Adding “Run in compatablility mode” is supposed to also help with issues, I did this to all 4 .exe’s just to be sure. Also bear in mind that while Frames may be low in the Tavern, they are usually good in the actual game (or at least they were for me).

The game has already been released back in 2006 and recieved a new makeup on Steam as well as on PS4 and XBox One.
I bought and played the Xbox 360 version a few months back and I enjoyed the game. On the Xbox 360 the game sometimes simply froze and I lost 30-60 minutes of gametime which made playing this game very frustrating sometimes.
For fans of Koei games I can be very Brief: This game is a mix between Dynasty Warriors and Kessen. It has more strategic elements than Dynasty Warriors because you decide which troups you command or if you go all out by yourself (usually not recommended). There are certain strategic points you should follow but also can achieve a victory by your own strategy. Some quests however demand to follow a certain order to siege on enemy camps.

The Riftbreaker: Prologue
ARPG combat + the base building/macro aspect of RTSs + fighting off massive waves of enemies, like tower defence titles (but better than most, due to enemy number).
Fun.
Movement and combat flow is fairly smooth and responsive. The visuals are great, and, on my end, runs fairly well (max settings, mostly running @ 60 fps, some weird dips here and there, and some big dips near the end, when the massive enemy waves hit; 8th gen i7, GTX1070, 16GB DDR4, Win10).
Sounds have ‘oomph’ (although I wish some of the ballistic weapons had ‘snappier’ sounds), and the voice acting is quite good.

Its like they took the best bits from all the good RTS, Tower Defence and 3D Platformers that they could think of, then blended it all into a visually STUNNING game!
I will definitely follow this!
Also, for an Alpha build demo! It ran at max settings flawlessly for hours, at around 120fps avg @1440p without cooking my hardware. Great Job!
I think the build and inventory menus have room for improvement and polish but still useable.
Would be nice if you could map the mouse scroll wheel to weapon cycle/change each hand, Right now it doesn’t allow you to use the scroll wheel for anything at all…. But to see button binding options in an early build at all is kinda amazing! Xbox controller works really well but mouse is better for building quickly in straight lines and aiming.

守卫魔兽-Guardian of Warcraft
No english reviews so I thought I’d write one.
Game is pretty basic but is a ton of fun. You defend a giant slime through over 15 decently designed maps. It plays like an active tower defense game. You can summon creatures to move around and defend the slime, as well as build a variety of stationary towers to attack nearby enemies.
The translation is REALLY rough, basically google translate, but fortunately you don’t really need to read anything in this game so it doesn’t matter.
It’s also not well balanced either. The first few levels will require you to grind them to level up and unlock new summons and tower upgrades. My best advice would be to max out the ice tower and the teleporter since they seem to be the most effective towers. But once you can clear level 4 you can pretty easily clear the rest of the game

DYNASTY WARRIORS 8 Empires
This review will be posted, while having DW5E in mind. Gonna be long.
DW8 Empire is first empire game that come to PC from the series.
You don’t need any of DLC to experience 100% of the game or complete 100% achievement run. Mostly, it’s just flavour.
Game outside of battle aspect got reworked entirely, You are not being considered always a ruler. You can play as Free Officer, Vagabond Unit (a party without a land), Officer under someone, their Lieutanant, Officer, Strategist or Marshal. The last two being almost as the ruler themselfs, but with the option of rebel/betrayal. To win the game, You don’t have to be a ruler, all You have to do, is to be inside the winning force. I lost only once so it’s hard to say if there’s even Game Over screen.

OMG still in shock with the release of empires on PC. I have long heard of it, but haven’t been able to play the “Empires” of a Dynasty Warriors game since it usually goes out on PS3 or XBox. And here it is, right on my doorstep, on steam. What better way than to test it out.
This review should be unbiased (Sort of), as I have been a dynasty warriors player of Dynasty Warriors 3, 4, 6 (5 skipped due to not being on PC), 7, and 8. I have experienced all the 1 vs 10000 army battles, while slaying down all that stands in my path (including gathering the courage to stand against the mighty Lu Bu, though mostly getting my blade handed back to me 10 times fold).

Tower Defense Hero
I like this game, cheap, AND it has surprizing depth in the action. cheap and fun, i reccomend this game. so far my hero has gotten to lvl 12, really cool how the hero has gear and skills, makes it feel a lot more like your hero is special to you.

Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders
KUF Crusaders is essentially an rts mixed with 3rd person hack and slash gameplay.
As far as I know, KUF is quite unique in how it plays, as the only game I’ve played having similar ideas is maybe Brutal Legend, but even then, they’re very different in execution.
In the meat of the game, you are given 5 slots, give or take, to pick whatever troop you have in your army to take on missions, with each mission throwing different scenarios, enemy unit compositions, and tactics. Each unit has specific roles and counters they fulfill, so you can get caught off guard by different enemies and situations that you’ll have to think to get out of.

Never thought I’d see KuF Crusaders playable on PC, one of my all time favourite games, I even kept my OG Xbox and 360 exclusively for Crusaders and Heroes, they can finally rest now that Blueside finally brought it to PC.
I was overjoyed with the first announcement and trailer of KuF 2 but my heart sunk when I learned it would be an MMO and was especially disappointed after playing it and witnessing how bland it is, I really wish they had expanded this fantastic mix of RTS/Action RPG and just rolled out more campaigns like these.

Of course, when the orb began to go out of our control, we were now faced with an invasion from multiple dimensions.
Yulia, a surviving Royal Guard is now the last hope. With monsters everywhere, the only way forward is to find the orb and destroy it once and for all.
