The story is pretty ridiculous in a “so bad it"s funny” sort of way, but the gameplay pretty much kills any of the lol vibes you might have from playing through the ridiculous 60-second cutscenes that lead to the next mind-numbing battle.

Combat is just outrageously bland, you just run in a circle (don’t touch the fog, that’s instant death lulz) and spray and pray. No aiming, no other weapons, grenades, anything to break the humdrum of doing the same thing again and again and again. The bosses just walk after you very slowly, so to defeat them you have to…yup, run in a circle and spray and pray. As silly as the story is, I can’t continue to force myself to run around the same two houses with my AK47 anymore. Thumbs down.

Well.. I can’t say that effort wasn’t put into this game, but it’s probably the most awkward and incest disgusting game I’ve ever witnessed. It’s just weird and the actual gameplay where you shoot alien and solider assets is absolutely terrible. The only intrigue for me was the story but even that is terrible too.

Perhaps this game is so bad… it’s good? I dunno. I can’t say it’s good either. Just different.. and it’s awkward AF. And the gameplay like I said.. it is absolutely terrible.

I mean this is a probably one of the best visual novels ever made…like easily. I think the only visual novel that is better is Seeds of Chaos. If you are going to make a visual novel you have to dedicate considerable time to the story, art direction, and ability for the player to make choices that have an effect on the story. For some reason I don’t understand, almost no visual novels can meet that minimum standard. Untale doesn’t just meet those standards it exceeds them. The amount of different choices you have in this game is quite stunning and it’s clear a ton of work was put into making the outcomes of these choices make logical sense. Even the music here is great, I think they could use more music, but it’s probably the most robust visual novel soundtrack except for probably Lady Killer in a Bind’s amazing jazz score.

The art of the game is good, the story/plot is interessing and the characters are quite interessing.

Why I do not recommend it ? Because playing a “power less” guy that just do is best to survive is frustrating. And the save mechanism really help to keep the frustration very high.. ( please restart from the beginning and remember you choice… such a pain… ).

I also dont like the “combat” behavior ( being able to skip the minigame once done was a good idea… why keeping the combat ? ).

I’m sad because I really find the ambiance good but keeping trying to find the less bad ending is not where I take pleasure to play.

A Painter’s Tale: Curon, 1950

Incredibly deep expression of a very sad event in the history of the world. Excellent game and time well spent!

A gentle and relaxing game that allows the player to immerse themselves within history. I never thought I would feel such nostalgia from a quaint little town, or receive goosebumps upon my finishing of the game. Though the movement was a bit awkward at times, the shading and colours of Curon were stunning, and the soundtrack was beautiful. The story is novel-like, the visuals are picturesque, and you will walk out of this piece of art with a fleeting, but haunting experience of a tale from the past.

Path of the Martyrs

Path of the Martyrs

Path of the Martyrs is an excellent adventure!

The time I spent as Saiyato in the world of Delma was rewarding.

While battles proved somewhat easy, they were also a lot of fun. The combat and skill systems have depth, and fun realtime arcade elements in some cases that keep you on your toes. Resources are plentiful for thorough explorers.

The real challenge is the puzzles. Kazuki Takamura is a clever designer when it comes to these. There are many types of puzzle, and the difficulty level is a nice balance between frustration and satisfaction.

古代人生 Ancient Life

古代人生 Ancient Life

This is a charming ancient life sim game.

While the controls and concept can be a bit difficult to master, once you get the hang of the game this is an absolute delight. For those that like dynasty games like cursader kings-why on earth is this not a cateogry of games on steam?-will be happy to know this game follows that concept of a dynasty rpg with an even closer lence than in crusader kings. There are many life paths for characters to experience and many mini-games to play to advance along these life paths. The majority are a lot of fun and give a nice taste of the ancient life.

it is fun to play but I don’t recommend

too difficult to earn income

1). sell crickets: this is best way to earn income so far

2). crickets tournament:

only won provincial match once

… even your opponent’s bugs were weaker than yours but you still lost the game - make no sense to me

3). Special products: once your honor value reach each threshold (100, 200, 300), you will unlock different special product (max 3 kinds per city) … and here is a bug.

you can buy the highest rank special product, but you won’t have earn any income once you sell it ..

Human Apocalypse

Human Apocalypse

WARNING: This game contains heavy material that might make players/audience uncomfortable.

An unknown deadly virus has suddenly spread. It turns people into brain eating zombies, the whole world goes into chaos, etc. You know the rest.

However, in this game, a cure has been found. All the infected people have been treated and are now normal, functioning, harmless humans again. Except for one thing, the cured people’s skin color is still green. Play as a Green man.

Human Apocalypse is a game set in a post-POST-apocalyptic world focusing on story, characters, decisions, and exploration. The dark, bizarre world of this game has a deep thought-provoking story, full of interesting characters to meet, a city to freely roam and explore, tough decisions to make, an original soundtrack, beautiful visuals, lots of secrets to uncover.

Soundtrack included when buying the game!

A Fold Apart

A Fold Apart

Interesting puzzle concept. I got stuck in a few but never enough to look up a solution. Some puzzles (especially early ones, but also some later ones) are very easy. Feels like the game is trying to make you feel frustration and release in sympathy with the characters instead of ramping up difficulty just because it’s a game.

Presentation is impressive. Transitions, multi-view shots, and walking over folds are done seamlessly.

Dialogue (text messages) between the characters is generally pretty good. Some a bit too cheesy/sappy but some felt genuine. The puzzle thought text is usually too melodramatic.

VEREDICT: 8/10.

A Fold Apart is a sweet puzzle game with its mechanics and visuals well tied to its themes. The game could use some quality of life improvements and a smoother learning curve, but it’s worth it.

MECHANICS: Positive. The folding paper puzzles manage to match the allegorical emotional landscapes of a long-distance relationship cleverly. Some of the mechanics didn’t click for me and I think it could use a few extra steps to ease you into new stage gimmicks. At least the game has a solid hint system.

Burn Me Alive is a pseudo-psychological horror game in the walking simulator game space. Your wife and kid got burnt to toast and were buried in the cemetery, your therapist should have clued you in on, probably wasn’t the best choice for a grieving husband/dad. Throw in a whole bunch of cigs and booze and Satan just starts coming out of ya! Burn Me Alive is almost too stereotypical for a game like this. It sounds like a metal song name or a movie or a book, sadly generic with little impacts.
