This game is beautiful. I was immersed every second of it and it gave me the feels.

Playing it with a best friend or someone you’re very close to hits on a whole different level.

It’s one of the best experiences I’ve had so far, it makes me crave more games like this.

If you have a close friend and you’re looking for something to co-play together, this will be a wonderful time for you.

It Takes Two

It Takes Two

This game definitely deserves the game of the year award. It is great on every possible aspect: gameplay, story, soundtrack, animation, graphics.. I also appreciate the sense of humor in the game coming mainly from Cody and Dr Hakim. One other thing, you don’t have to buy the game if your friend has it; just get the friend pass and you’ll be good to go. Otherwise, ITT is really worth its price. And finally, I really like how Hazelight works on co-op only games starting with Brothers, and then A Way Out, and now It Takes Two.

This is a great game to play with someone else, well you need someone else to play it with… But no worrries you get a friend pass for a person you would like to invite to play, so only one person needs to buy the game!

Luckily I played with a great person who also didn’t want to rush the game. We both didn’t have time to play often, so we played once a week at times. And to confuse ourselves a little more we switched the characters each time we played again - it was funny to get used to one side of the screen again. I liked that there were lots of details in the game and you could tell there is a lot of love behind the game design. Storywise it was really interesting and well transmitted. ,,It takes two" became a sentence I frequently used with the person I played with to joke about something and it actually relates to good situations.

Exorcise The Demons

Exorcise The Demons

Although this game can be fun for like an hour or two it is really repetitive and sadly isn’t worth it’s price.

I don’t want to be mean or something, I know a lot of people put effort into this but in an honest review I wouldn’t recommend it for the simple reason that it doesn’t have enough content for it’s price.

Real player with 5.2 hrs in game

If you are a fan of games like We Were Here, you will enjoy this. It’s a co-op game, and only one of the two people playing has to own it, making it worth the price. It looks good and sounds good. It was a blast dual-streaming it with Domino427 and we both definitely struggled with figuring out some of the puzzles. (There may have been some stream-sniping cheating going on.) The only issue we had was extending the timers didn’t work. We really needed extra time on some of the puzzles, but the timer was ignored. That got frustrating, so hopefully it’s fixed down the road. There aren’t many puzzles either, but there are plans to add more content. I still feel comfortable recommending it in its current state. Just know you might want to smack your friend afterwards.

Haven

Haven

The review key was provided by the developer.

»Anyway, how much rust do you need in order to “pull the panties down”?«

This review contains no major story spoilers.

Haven is a narrative-driven adventure that tells the classic, almost cliché story of two lovers on the run from an oppressive force trying to drive them apart. Luckily, the way the story is written and conveyed is pretty damn amazing and easily takes center-stage. The Game Bakers delivered something quite unique in many ways, and it is easy to fall in love with many aspects of this flawed gem.

Having been a part of the testing process from some of the first test runs to today, i can say it has been a fun and inspiring experience seeing the game progress to its current form.

The aesthetic of the game fits well with the theme, the puzzles are just the right level of difficulty and we’ve laughed many times frantically trying to work them out during the test runs. I am eager to see how the future of this game’s story pans out and completes.

Bought this game tonight and immediately played though it. My friend and I are huge fans of the “We were here” games and have struggled to find similar ones after playing though the first two. We tried “Tic Tok” and a few coop platformer but nothing could really match up to “We were here”. Until now at least.

“Mark & Lara” is an amazing coop game. You don’t need the internet, just the game and you are set for about 2,5 hours of fun. That’s about how much time it took us to play though it once and we will again soon in order to experience the story out of both character’s perspectives. So for 4 bucks you have ~5 hours of playtime, which is solid imo. The story itself is amazing and really pulled us in. It really feels like investigating and we really enjoyed it. The game consists of talking to one of the two suspects, “official” documents and documentations of conversations. You have to really concentrate and look for the details and compare what the two suspects say in order to find the solution. Teamwork is necessary. The story was surprising in quite a few points and it was refreshing to not have a standart “why I killed him” plot but something more complex. We developed a good amount of theories of what could have happened and none of them turned out to be the correct one in the end.

Clandestine

Clandestine

Clandestine is one of the most underrated stealth games I’ve ever played.

I’ll start with what I don’t like: out of all the things to randomly place they chose collectables you’ll need to upgrade your armory.

The game is coded in Unity, so the facial animations are questionable, and the animations overall are very stiff and the collision detection on the environment isn’t great.

The AI is competent, but not particularly complex since guards won’t notice doors opened or trace left by the player.

The quick recap

because who has the time to read my soliloquy

Clandestine is a genius and unforgiving stealth game in which mistakes are lethal. The only way to avoid the mistakes is to have a good friend in the van monitoring you and planning ahead of time. This is a stealth game where non-lethal playthrough is rewarding because the non-lethal options are numerous and cool, whereas the guns are pretty much all the same and do the same thing without much skill needed. No advanced objective requires a kill. You will succeed or fail based on your preparation, co-ordination and skill alone. Exploration is rewarded but not capital.

Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition

This game fires on all cylinders. Combat is fun, Exploration is rewarding, Story is interesting, Humor is amusing. If you like rpgs and using your brain I can’t understand how you haven’t already played this game.

A really great game if you love RPG. It is really complex and challenging. It also provide you with flexibility to finish the game, be it flexibility to develop characters, freedom to completing quests and puzzles through various ways, and also variety of combos to kill your opponents in battles.

Storytelling is good. The best part is the quest design, especially the early main quest in Act 1. Several mid-end game side quest will be boring but the main quest overall is still fascinating. I also love the humor in the dialogues and character interactions.
