Plaguepunk Justice

Plaguepunk Justice

Great mix of roguelike and squad based strategy. Unique setting and mechanics for a zombie game. Love the art style and the music is very enjoyable and gives a nice tone. Very polished with no crashes or issues so far. Has that addictive “one more turn/mission”. Glad I found this hidden gem.

recently got this game on sale, got completely hooked within the first three missions

the style, dialogue, combat, and crafting system are all top notch, 10/10

some of the things that hold the game back in my eyes is the movement, often times passing through another person (or vice versa) can mess up my placement, but to be fair thats just a learning curve

the combat enforces high mobility because of the healing combat, and i think thats really interesting. It makes positioning, resource management, exploration, and map awareness very important. Also requires a little bit of tracking which “patients” you have already treated, etc

Where’s My Lunch?!

Where’s My Lunch?!

Easily the best game released in 2021. The mechanics are incredible, the animation is beautiful, and the voice acting is beyond anything I’ve ever seen. I am so excited for when I get to eat my next lunch. Thank you.

Gaze At Maze

Gaze At Maze

“Gaze at Maze” has definitely no promising title.

And the fact that the word “maze” is repeated like 20 times in a single Steam store page too made me think at first glance of this one as a failed indie attempt..

Well, it’s really indie - the whole game is the result of the work of a single man, Anamik Majumdar, whom my historian senses tell me he comes from India.

I love India!

The game has a partial controller support - unluckily, I didn’t make it out with my old light one.. clicking on the controls menu shows you a nice graphical introduction to all the buttons and such, but my controller wasn’t answering well and yeah, all in all it’s “partial support” so I went on with my keyboard.

This game is truly a game beyond the power of everyone. After spending a solid length of time, I will fully admit that I am to much of a simpleton to even begin to comprehend the sheer wit required to successfully complete such a masterpiece. All I could find was a measly two sliding doors inside of a mountain, as well as a brick staircase embedded to the side of a mountain, with none other than an entire sheet metal pole building stacked upon these lovely bricks. I absolutely recommend to anyone looking to completely blast $1 (for the love of anything holy I beg anyone who is not purchasing this during a sale. do not do it) into the darkest money pit void known to man. Thank you for such a great time.

Grey Skies: A War of the Worlds Story

Grey Skies: A War of the Worlds Story

I absolutely love War of the Worlds and anything that involves it.

But if you take the element of the novel and story out, unfortunately the game itself is mediocre at best. The game’s pretty to look at and the dev did a good job of making me feel like I was in England. But the mechanics are generic and the stealth was tedious. Enemies were bland, the crafting system wasn’t all that useful and the characters were next to non existent. I felt frustrated how there was so much stealth revolving avoiding what was basically Human zombies and far too little gameplay against surviving the actual Martians. Speaking of which, we don’t even get to see the Martians! We don’t see how they landed, when they landed and where the invasion began. We go through a drawn out string of avoiding people to get a tiny bit of Fighting Machine activity at the very end.

𝗗𝗢 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗕𝗨𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗚𝗔𝗠𝗘!!! Grey Skies is absolutely miserable, it is a combination of boredom and frustration. Grey Skies is a cheap, buggy and janky mess of a game.

There are a plethora of bugs that are down right annoying to deal with. The gameplay is extremely tedious and slow. Most of the time you’ll be running around a dull map looking for random crafting parts, that don’t really make sense (such as finding a red weed to make a glass of water). There are moments where you are forced to slowly walk down an empty, linear path for a few minutes straight, doing absolutely nothing. The music that starts in these walking sections ends before it is even finished, so you’ll be walking in silence for the last minute of the section. Also, the main mechanic in the game is throwing cups of water at generators.

I bought this game about when it was released. (it was released by accident as the dev said)

at first glance i was thinking what on earth is this s**t? after finishing the game, my thought became even stronger.

luckily the dev is so determined to develop this game further, so whenever major update is released many things have changed.

so i play this game whenever new update is released and i already beat it 3 times.

it’s kind of interesting seeing how the game is being changed over time.

even if this game looks like s**t, it has irresistible attraction. you can try it yourself.

METAL GEAR SURVIVE

METAL GEAR SURVIVE

TL;DR: The story is enjoyable, but almost every other aspect of this game gets it horribly wrong. Rather than unlockable mechanics that keep the player busy, you can pay to unlock features of the game that completely eliminate the core aspects of playing a survival game.

Let me first start out this review by saying that if you are a fan of Metal Gear, this is your Indiana Jones IV moment. Do not enter here. You will have all the wrong expectations and will ultimately leave angry, disappointed, and in general, feeling sorry for your wallet.

Intro

(Spoiler-Free Review)

Metal Gear Survive (MGSU) is an experimental open-world action game that blends elements from many different genres. In this spin-off players impersonate “The Captain”, one of the survivors of a mysterious incident that transported them into a parallel dimension. Toxic air, harsh climate and dangerous monsters make this alien world extremely dangerous to humans: that’s why the Captain along with an AI called Virgil and other survivors, has to find a way to go back in their reality.

Absolutely terrifying and almost equally frustrating!

I would recommend this game to anyone!

Pretty scary and fun little game! I like how the monsters look and the sounds they make! I also like the idea of this game. I do wish there was a checkpoint system after every door so players don’t get frustrated after almost beating it and having to restart. Also when you get chased by a monster, after a while the sound cuts off so you don’t know if they stopped following you or not. Other than that I think this game is really good for what you pay and all the scares it brought with it. Thank you

Play as Cliff Calo, the son of powerful men who not only seeks his attention but also a story that will make him a star in his father broadcast network. The situation in Borneo is dangerous and very secretive, no one really knows what happened, but common sense still applies… No way the situation can be that bad, is not like zombies are running loose or something, right?!

Join forces with Xian Mei, a very well known character and save your friends from the horrors of the island!

Escape Dead Island is an innovative game among a first-person franchise, that changes to a third person camera, not only to surprise us, but also to prove that an intensive adventure can be played in any way possible. Because let’s face it, the first thing you see when checking Escape Dead Island are the fantastic visuals Fatshark created. Very colorful, very shiny and vibrant to the player’s eyes, just don’t forget, the violence is also very intensive, and we love it even harder.
