Age of Gladiators II: Death League
So I’m about three hours in now, and actually having a lot of fun. Its not as deep as I hoped, but still a really solid squad manager for a detail orient statistic loving player.
As for gameplay, it took me a few tries to get a decent start going, but on the fifth try I got it right. I am now “Rotwound,” a rather arachnoid ex-fighter. Gonna say, not too fond of the gladiator stylization, but whatever, pushing on. Rotwound opened the game by hiring a vorcinne (the hairless spider dude, ‘cause there’s also a spider yeti, yeeeah) scout who can hire other spider dudes at the beginning. The scout found a couple ok fighters, but most importantly Slowsin (the spiderdudes have rather menacing portmanteaus as names) who is an excellent melee fighter with loads of damage and accuracy, but not much hp. Slowsin is given an axe and medium armor and an adrenal booster, and sent out to fight. This he does with great joy and abandon. Fairly quickly “Slowsin” racks up ten kills, and is renamed “Executioner,” for reasons “Rules and Guidelines” does not let me make a joke about. Executioner has now led Rotwound’s gladiator asteroid team of spider dudes to 14-0 victories and speicializations in axes, medium armor, and adrenal boosters. The old spiderdude scout found another few badass spiderdudes, and then went to recruit what are apparently constipated trolls. He found a very scary constipated troll, who is now training to be more scary. This brings the story of Rotwound and Executioner to day 90, at which point they have not lost a gladiator, fight, or limb, because apparently Rotwound can live up to his name ‘casue amputations are a thing. I think. There’s something about cybernetics later on. Gonna keep updating this as I play for while.

TL:DR - If you enjoyed the first game, you can’t go wrong with this sequel as long you’re OK with the Sci-Fi setting instead of the Rome setting. (Though the Rome setting is coming soon per the Devs)
If you like a detailed opinion of the game, read on! :)
Well,
I’m not much for writing reviews on the steam website, but felt perhaps this one was a good time for that cause I’ve been enjoying the dedication the Devs have given to this game post release so far. Overall if you played the first game, called Age of Gladiators, then you will encounter features very similar to that with this one.

Akyrikon VR
Playing on an Oculus Quest 2 with virtual desktop.
I’ve played a lot of vr rhythm games and this one is just so unique. I love it.
I’m glad there was a demo since my headset isn’t listed as one of the ones supported.
Try the demo, then buy the game. It’s very reasonably priced.

Full disclosure: I’m developing a VR rhythm game and a big fan of the direction VR exercise is going. The orbs will have your shoulders burning quickly, the way they are spaced. Pretty basic game, but I still want to train and continue the missions and progress. This RPG concept is onto something and needs further exploring. Didn’t find any bugs and nice to have custom music challenge generator on release (maybe add ability to add music by folder). Rhythm hits have great timing. The orb sounds don’t match any type of music I know of and it’s a delayed sound, so have the catch sound disabled. Played on Rift S

FarRock Dodgeball
I’m not much of a sports playing person, but I still enjoy Farrock Dodgeball. The game has a cartoon art style so it doesn’t feel as serious like a AAA sports game like, NBA 2K or Madden. It also doesn’t come across as Indie game since it isn’t pixelated (we have enough of those). The game is easy to follow and you pick up on how to play it pretty quick. What I enjoyed the most about the game is the variety of stages and special attacks you have. I also enjoyed the many side quest the game has to offer. The game does offer a local co-op mode that you can play I haven’t had a chance to play with someone yet I am looking forward to doing that in the future.

Football Heroes Turbo
Here’s my in progress review.
I’m a fairly casual NFL fan, not being a native Yankee, but I am having fun with the season mode so far. This game harks back to the classic Tecmo Bowl, with punchy punchy and super moves mixed in with the gridiron. The play selection interface is giving me serious Madden NFL on Megadrive nostalgia. Building out and leveling your team reminds me of the Amiga classic Speedball 2 a bit.
This is a fun action sports game that harks back to arcade and console sports action games that were so prevalent in the 80s and 90s, but have become less prevalent as the realism levels went up in games. As someone who is a pretty casual sports fan thats OK by me!

i have played more football heroes on my iphone then probably any other player. i at one point held the record on football heroes pro 2017 for most points scored and i placed in the top 10 valued teams with no in app purchase. my point is i played ur game more than anyone so i say this with great sadness… this is not what it could be. no random packs? no leagues? how are u charging 15 for this. i have some ideas i think would help you if u got in contact
15 hours later having a good time grinding in this game but i am having major issues with large screen where my input does not work at all

RPGolf
RPGolf is a sub-par experience that is too simplistic to be a convincing RPG and too inept to be a passable golf game.
It seemed like the perfect melding of a dungeon crawler and the Gentleman’s Game, a mix that I hoped would scratch an odd itch to play golf and roll stats at the same time. However, after breezing through multiple rounds on the main course, completing the main quest and most of the side quests, it’s clear that RPGolf does not deliver on it’s namesake, as the RPG elements are very simplistic and repetitive, while the golf mechanics are genuinely disappointing.

Short Version
A short and fun game that tries to combine golf and action RPG elements. Of course this is not the first game to try to do this, and it is not the best. It falls a bit short on both the golf and the action RPG parts, but it was fun enough for me to come back to keep playing the game. There is a mobile version for dollar cheaper, but I did not play that one and cannot offer any contrasting commentary between the two.

连海台球俱乐部 ウィナーズブレイク Lianhai Billiards Club
We’re working on it, so stay tuned!
The main character is a student at Lianhai High School.
His father’s alcoholism and violence kept him away from his family, wandering around all day, and his grades consistently ranked low.
One day, the hero is entrusted by his class teacher to hand in the class materials to his classmates, Xinsu.
At the billiard club run by Xinsu’s family, he witnessed a scene in which Xinsu was harassed by a gangster.
By coincidence, he picked up a billiard cue and won the match without any billiard experience.
Xinsu, who admired the billiards talent of the hero, gave the hero the right to represent the club in the annual “Lianhai Billiards Club League” in Lianhai City.
The hero, who once lost his faith in life, gradually became a billiard star with the support of his partners.
But as the day of the game drew nearer, certain things changed.
Xinsu learned that his father, who had beaten the hero’s father in the National League, made the hero’s father had never recovered.
What will happen to Xinsu who knows about this…and how will the game change?
The game can be divided into two parts, “Role-Play” and “Billiards”.
In Role-Play part, players can explore freely in the school and in the city of Lianhai, looking for plots that can be triggered and developing relationships with their partners.
As your bonding with your partners deepens, you can acquire special skills for use in billiard games. (e.g. sight line visualization, etc.)
Every once in a while, there will be an important billiard match event where players need to use their honed out abilities to win the match and advance the plot.
The player needs to select the topic of interest to the session object and only has a limited number of options per session.
There are also different branching options for each topic, so if the conversation is full of good feelings, something good will happen!
For the first time, the city of Lianhai, which appeared in “The Adventure of Fei Duanmu” and Code Creakers, can be explored in free 3D.
The weather system also allows you to explore Lianhai City in a variety of settings, including dusk, early morning and rainy night.
The central theme of this work, billiards.
Win the game by knocking the eight balls on the table into the bag.
A seemingly simple game, but in fact it’s a test of brain and mental conditioning.
Here’s to enjoying challenging different opponents!
Ganbare! Super Strikers
Basic rundown
Ganbare! Super Strikers is a fun little game that focuses on the strategic layers of football, rather than fast action and quick decisions. It features XCOM-like turnbased gameplay, where you have a limited amount of actions per character, that you can use to move, tackle, pass, shoot and do other things that are common in football.
Clearly inspired by the old Captain Tsubasa nintendo games and sports animes/mangas, you have individual characters and teams with certain signature moves and/or behaviors/themes, that the player has to overcome. Those themes are mostly based around certain status effects like freeze, sleep, poison or simply increased stats and therefore higher chances for shooting, dribbling and so on.

Simple yet quite fun to play. However, there’s a an annoying bug, which freezes the game whenever you apply multiple debuffs to your opponent. Only get this game when it is on sales.

Soccer Legends
Here is a different game with a new smell. I am sure I will play this game, which is kinda a middle path between a classic role gaming per turns and a dynamic football action. No mentioning It has a manager section which looks very good.
If you like football and / or role playing games, I think this game could be reaaaally interesting and funny. ^^
ANXIOUS to see new updates _:D
