A great game that feels very rewarding without being a huge time sync. You can hop on for an hour or so and have a alot fun and actually make progress. The trick system play similar to the Skate series, where you use stick position and bumper combos to pull off a variety of tricks. As far as progression its rogue-like, you can only crash so many times in a run before you go back to start, although you will get cosmetic items based on points at the end of the run. There are multiple levels that you unlock, plenty of bike-parks to cut your teeth on and have fun with. Plus a very solid soundtrack to accompany you throughout the game. Worth the full price in my opinion!

If you enjoyed roguelike or extreme sports games, you will like this game. The game is just straight up fun. This is not a racing game, it’s a freeride downhill biking game. You can choose whether you played it safe or take the risk to do the crazy stunts you want to do. The developer is also constantly updating this game with new stuff like cosmetics or new bike parks or even a whole new challenges. This is really the best biking games to have ever existed.

Dog Sled Saga

Dog Sled Saga

This is probably one of the most addictive games I have played recently. I first tried it at my friend’s house and immediately had to buy it. I have been playing it like a maniac since then.

So far I have enjoyed the game immensely, though that does not mean that I haven’t noticed certain pros and cons to it.

Thankfully the pros outweigh the cons. The game is a pixel game which in my case is awesome because I love pixel games. The dogs and everything is pretty detailed and with pretty darn good animations. The colors and nice and soft and don’t hurt the eyes even though the majority of the game consists of various shades of white and gray (the environment).

There’s a lot to be said about Dog Sled Saga. It might look like a silly, simple game, but there’s a lot here to sink your teeth into. It isn’t perfect and has some flaws, but it’s still worth your time.

First off, despite the presence of dogs, snow, and sleds, it doesn’t feature sledding in the traditional sense. Esentially your dogs will pull a sled, and you’re in charge of tossing them dog biscuits to keep their energy up. Throws have to be well timed as perfect throws will help boost the stamina of your dogs, and hazards will come up like high winds, trees, etc.

First of all Im really greatful Milestone released the game at schedule giving the players opportunity to play the game. Second Its fantastic they said the work on game will continue after the release. I mention this because due to coronavirus outbrake the game is not fully updated to 2020 liveries, and MotoE class. But this will come as a free update.

As for the game. I expected evolution, but what we were given is revolution and this game should be approached as a new title because the number of changes is huge. Just to mention not of the are good but if only there are will be some tweaks the game can be best ever.

Introduction

This is and in Depth Review for MotoGP™20 . If you don’t want/have the time to read this just ignore the post. If you like it please leave a thumbs up and helpful!

Gameplay

The Gameplay of MotoGP™20 is smooth and easy to understand , you will learn how to play the game in a few races. If you have never played a Bike Racing game before start with a low difficulty and turn it higher after every race until you find a difficulty level that suits your skill. I recommend starting with Pro Physics and Max Tire Consumption from the beginning so you get used to it.

sigh

Sorry this is so long…

I just want a decent, moderately realistic, offline dirt racing game (without having to commit to the almighty iRacing), so I figured I’d give this a try. Seems many of us have not been satisfied since WoO 2002, myself included. All those Ratbag games were gems…

I’m going to leave a thumbs up, because the cars really are pretty fun to drive. This is a legitimately difficult game as well, you’re not gonna win every race, even with a fully upgraded car. The career mode is set up nicely, really enjoying the structure. The ffb is REAL too, this game will really give you a workout wrestling your wheel, and somehow doesn’t make my G920 hot like other games do. Also, there are a LOT of tracks to choose from, some being quite unique. So, for the price, I guess it’s not a bad game. Other than that, there are many things that I don’t like.

Tony Stewart’s Sprint Car Racing is a fun arcade-like take on dirt racing with a terrific selection of fantasy tracks and addicting multiplayer. If you enjoyed NASCAR Heat 4, you can expect a similar enjoyment due to the games decent Career Mode.

If you think the cars drive anything like the dirt series in NASCAR Heat, however, you’re wrong. The physics are completely different, with a snug car that veers left on the straightaways, and sort of snaps in and out when drifting. Now the drifting is not as intense as in real life, and in the midget cars you barely have to at all, but because of how fun they are to drive, it doesn’t bother me very much.

Another Vector Unit boat racing game? Count me in!

This was a mobile game, and you can tell in some places, but it’s a very, very good PC port. It has everything you need: plenty of graphics options, customizable controls, and so on.

The graphics have been enhanced from the mobile version, too, and they look really good. If you haven’t played the original version, then you’ll be in for a treat. The art is fantastic, as in every Vector Unit game.

Some of the music in this game is really enjoyable to listen to as well. I get pumped up even more when one of my favorite tracks plays at the start of a race.

This is a very fun arcade racing game, though only if you’re interested in the single player or have friends who also play it, as the multiplayer community seems practically dead.

I had a great time completing the single player campaign. There is a real sense of speed here, and while the graphics are nothing to write home about, they are pleasant enough and run great on my Radeon HD4850. It took me many tries to score 3 Stars in quite a few of the events, and some I had to come back to later after a few level ups and with a further upgraded hydrojet. The AI is decent, and I didn’t notice any rubberbanding. Crashing into other players or even the scenery only slows you down a little (or a lot if you actuall hit the scenery head-on), and the only way to wipe-out is to land back in the water in the middle of performing a “Trick”. In that case, you lose precious seconds while your hydro jet resets back on the track, and then has to accelerate back up to speed.

I really like the game and I think it good be really good, I played 24 hours so far here are my impressions :

The pro :

  • Decent graphics, not so different from gp18, rain effect is really cool.

  • There are a lot more to do than 18, historical challenges are cool and quite hard, motoe is fun.

  • Online is good, no lag at all and way more control over the race (you can choose tracks, length of qp …).

  • There is the director mode in online which seems really nice (didn’t test it but saw it on a stream).

Real player with 314.7 hrs in game

Positive aspects:

  • More customization options with own helmets, numbers and stickers than ever before

  • Finally Alpinestars AND Dainese as brands and many helmet brands (even my IRL 2019 HJC helmet is available)

  • Multiplayer is finally based on dedicated servers, which really gives a far better and smoother experience than every Peer-to-peer network could ever be in previous Milestone games

  • Milestone finally took a step away from developing arcade games and gave us a better, more difficult and realistic handling of the bike; you can actually feel the difference to previous games as the bike feels way heavier now

Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 3

Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 3

Best game ever released by Milestone by a lot, really. And I see from noobs like me to the pros, everyone generally agreeing on that. Supercross 1 and 2, which were good games, are closer to ‘Big Rigs: Over The Road Racing’ than to this title.

Physics are great, the bike now has inertia and there is actually freedom in the air. Fully separated bike and rider dynamics create a very fun challenge. The tracks feel better when it comes to dimensions than Supercross 2. Also the dirt in SX2 looked like a cat either puked or took a crap all over the stadium, depending on the soil. The default setup is also very good unless you’re an alien wanting to extract every tenth of a second. You have to be careful on the wheelie and general inputs, unlike the first two SX games. Just a recommendation though: start playing right away with the advanced physics, the normal physics are clunky like the first two games.

Real player with 93.2 hrs in game

PROS:

  • Handling seems more realistic (I can’t move in the air anymore)

  • You face a larger penalty if you screw up in rhythm sections

  • 9 total compound tracks

  • Sand in Track Editor

  • Online is good

Cons:

  • The AI are slightly better, but still wildly inconsistent and unrealistic

  • The game crashes intermittently.

  • Lag spikes when turning or changing camera.

  • Many bugs throughout the game

  • In qualifying, how do the other riders have twice as many laps as me? That doesn’t make sense

  • AI qualifying times are not based on the actual lap times of the riders

Sprint Vector

Sprint Vector

It’s finally here! I’ve been waiting a very long time for this game to finally release.

https://youtu.be/MNiZDoVIavA

I still remember my first match with Zeshin at PAX East 2017. Back when we had 1 map a red guy and a blue guy. I knew this game was going to be gold. Survios didn’t disappoint!

You get a very quick intro tutorial that you can’t skip but it’s over very quickly. If you don’t need it, under 40 seconds. That leads you into a pretty amazing intro sequence where you get to meet Mr. Entertainment face to face. This was an amazing touch that blew me away.

Sprint Vector is VR in perfection!

It’s a refreshing, fast paced, easy to learn but hard to master racing game that also requires physical effort.

The whole locomotion system is just incredible and I haven’t seen it in any other game before. To get moving you have to swing your arms up and down - the faster you do so the faster you will get moving (“Freedom Locomotion VR” is a free Steam VR app that showed off this kind of armswing locomotion before). But that’s only the basic movement, you can drive around curves by physically turning or by drifting (which you can do by pressing some buttons on the controller). The game also includes climbing (with comparable mechanics of the game “Climbey”) and flying. There are powerups you can pick up during the game including different types of mines, boosters and rockets.

The Drift Challenge

The Drift Challenge

The controls and physics can be a bit questionable at the very beginning - regulate those!

But it’s still mindless fun for anyone that likes crashing cars ahem - drifting.

After grinding a bit for some XP and money, you’ll soon find yourself trying to mess with maps boundaries and flying out of them, as it’s a typical in early stage development Unity game™

Also take in mind that:

Current price = one liter of Kefir

! (Kvass is far more expensive than that)

Very cool concept, cant wait for the Free roam!

-Car input feels a little delayed

-should be more than a buck

-graphics should be improved with time

-could be a big game

-doing a normal 180 is impossible (only -180’s)

-no instructions (I dont mind) just a thought

-found a game breaking xp bug

-fun to play when you have jack shite to do during Quarantine

-im now max level… with almost 15 hours

TrackMania² Valley

TrackMania² Valley

Stadium is better IMO because it has more population, more community generated content, and more persistent playerbase than this game.

Racing gameplay here is largely based on rally racing. Note that the car steers very well, and can handle sharp turns. But, it doesn’t do so well at high speeds and will spin out at any attempt at braking. As such, racing tends to be more technical than drifting related or fullspeed.

This was the third of the TM2 series, and its the most graphically polished, however TM2 still excells in content.

Hmm I don’t know if I should put all the enviroments into one review on Valley but I’ll do it anyway.

If you played the original Trackmania then this shouldn’t be a surprise because everything is particulary the same, which is a good thing! I’ve loved the original Trackmania since I’ve seen about it back in my middle school years. Played the demo of Trackmania Sunrise and enjoyed the series ever since. I met some really good people and friends and actually played competitively in this game, but it didn’t last long…..sadly
