Gameplay gets an 8/10
The gameplay is nuts compared to like Madden. I’m picking plays like I would in Madden but I have to think about the size of my dog and where to run because you can get a huge score by running through logs, riding skateboards and such, which are mostly on the sides of the field and give your dog a speed boost when used. To maximize points you want to use different game balls and different powerups so lots going on vs like Madden. I even found holding the right mouse button down to walk super useful on defense so I could hang back and then intercept or quickly take out a receiver. Maneuvering the QB in the pocket and then going for the QB sneak also turned out to be a pretty solid tactic. Basically Madden gets pretty stale for me in the gameplay department and Dog Football makes football worth playing with lots of tactical options and resource management to think about since game balls get destroyed and treats and balls need to be purchased and are necessary for playing well.

Before I played this, I didn’t like football but loved dogs. Now I hate both.
This crappy port of a terrible Wii game makes me wants to run over every dog I see in my car for the good of humanity. And as a man of Irish heritage, I’m offended that the devs can’t tell the difference between the Irish and the Scottish, in any way whatsoever.

Wild Animal Sports Day
I got the priveledge of beta testing this masterpiece of a game made by the one and only Paul Bird. It’s a bit more difficult than WAR, but it brings some new movies and mechanics to the game. Such as a “campaign mode” type thing and cutscenes. But if you want the better ending, prepare to train long and hard. its no easy task.

The sheer threat that the presence of King Croc imposes, can easily shake even the most experienced horror game enjoyer to his/her core. On top of this amazing atmosphere, the combat also rivals the likes of Bloodborne, Mortal Combat and even Chess. All of this taken into consideration, and even dismissing some of the aspects of this game since there are so many, I find Wild Animal Sports day to be one of the best experiences steam has to offer, and it an understatement to call it a worthy successor to Wild Animal Racing.

This might very well be the SURPRISE of 2018 and in my book is already a part of the Hall of Games of Couch Games alongside Towerfall and Duck Game.
Picture Micro Machines mechanics, except the mini cars are replaced by normal sized people that are not QUITE normal, like an old transvestite o an anthropomorphic dog (that somehow has become the new face of Indie Games in this book of mine I’m telling you about) ALL while competing to reach the Top in a obstacle course race in contemporary Japan.

Paunch
Few games have been able to keep my attention for a VERY long time. This is one such game.
What first attracted me to this game was its high absurdity factor. The idea of two bald, funny-faced sumo wrestler types duking it out in the mountains with nothing but their fists and boulders is endlessly amusing to me.
What it lacks in bells and whistles, it more than makes up for in content. While more options could be incredibly beneficial to the longevity of this game, in its current state, its absolute simplicity speaks more volume than any amount of DLC ever could. It’s a natural antithesis to overtly-complicated cash cows like Fortnite. I’d even go as far as to say that it has the same addictive factor that arcade games in the 1980s had, and that’s coming from someone who’s been addicted to those games, and games like that, for most of his conscious life.

Party Jousting
This is one of the best local multiplayer games I’ve ever played. I have over 25 hours on record at this point, and while that doesn’t seem like a lot, each of the games lasts usually a total of 5 minutes, so that’s over 750 games played. The basis of all of these games is that you only need to click one button, so you can play with up to 16 players on one computer. The original game is essentially a last-man-standing flappy bird, where you kill other players by landing on their heads midair or landing on them while they are on the ground. The second game is kind of like Peggle, but you have to score more points than the other players that are playing on the same map. Since the 3 new modes just came out yesterday, I haven’t had the chance to play them yet, but I am very excited to try them out.

This game is epic. You can choose between a bunch of animals, and then you fight to the death. Super simple, super fun. I just wish that there were more stages and power ups. However, since the game is constantly getting updated this could easily be added in the future. If you have money then I suggest that you get one of the DLCs because…
A. If you get the Hat DLC then you can look LIKE A BOSS (not the Jacksepticeye kind, but the sunglasses kind).
B. If you get the Bling DLC then you get Beta acsess to new modes.

Real Pool 3D - Poolians
The owners of this game are very greedy. I have stopped playing this now. It is quite a lot of money each month to play it after your short free trial at the start. I did pay for it for a while when you could pay monthly, but now the greedy owners have taken away the monthly option and you can only pay in 6 month or yearly installments now so they receive more money. This is far too much for me to be paying now so I will no longer be playing it. Shame that the greedy owners have had to ruin it for those who can only afford to pay monthly. Shame on them !! it’s expensive enough as it is :(

This game is not really “Free to play” as advertised.
After 300-500 games, you lose the ability to join almost all of the game channels and your account is basically useless. You can only join the “Play For Coins” channel, check the comments for the rundown on that, or 2D pool, which as an experience is very inferior to the 3d version.
You must purchase premium [$24.95] for 6 months or [$34.95] for a year.
As you can see, for a game this basic, those above prices are absolutely disguisting. Also did I mention without a premium account you can have about 8 friends on your friends list, 70% of the modes are locked to you and you cannot play more than 1v1?
