Football Manager 2022
I’ve enjoyed playing the game for the last 2 weeks, not a lot has changed from last years release but i wasn’t expecting much change, i just enjoy the updated teams and player improvements.
1 thing i am NOT happy with is the in game editor has almost DOUBLED in price, company greed makes me sick. in my opinion this isn’t aimed at new comers as i truly believe they wont even know about the in game editor at first, nooo this is aimed at us lot, the loyal fan base who return year after year. 50p increase, fine… but an almost 50% increase is filth. This isn’t about the price as the IGE is still quite cheap, but nothing new has been added to it, nothing has changed from the last decade, so why that much of a price jump .. imagine next years release, and the full game costs £72, would we be happy with that?

After 292 hours in game, I can say that this doesn’t worth the money. I enjoyed FM21 a lot but FM22 is a major downgrade and makes it a frustrating experience. Even if there was a bet launched before and a lot of bugs and shortcommings were reported, none was solved until the actual launch of the game, which is odd because there isn’t a major update compared with FM21 where all these things worked smooth.
There are major bugs/glitches in the engine like endless passing between defenders, wrong animation at free kicks. unrealistic long headers or shots from players lacking the respective skill

Soccer Manager 2021
This Game is incredible! It cheats your team to perform much worse than it would, just to trick you into pay to win. Or can you imagine any scenario were a team from first league loses against a tam from 5th league while the ratings are almost twice as good?
Another example… after one season of playing for your team (who just won the national cup, the national championships and a euro cup, one of your best players suddenly loses his form because he wants to play in a “more succesful team”… no matter what you try, that will ruin his mood and his shape. Then finally, you give in and grant him his wish, putting him on the transfer list. The reaction is… the player is UPSET because you put him on the transfer list! LOL.

General gameplay is ok, especially for a free game, but then after my first mid-season transfer window one of the new players I bought just disappeared. After grieving my lost hours I decided to start a new campaign, only to see that the manager I created already started with the level of experience I left off with. I couldn’t see any way to start a new manager, so here I am uninstalling the whole thing. Now I probably just won’t download it again. All because Football Manager is not available in my country…..

Handball 21
REVIEW + GAMEPLAY VIDEOS
HANDBALL 21 does a brilliant job of recreating the awesome Sport of Handball.
The characters, arenas and animations are almost perfect and Graphically I find Handball 21 pleasing to the eye.
A good match full of end-to-end action can be very rewarding and ultimately the Handball 21 experience has made me aware of and appreciate far more the sport of Handball.
Much of what Handball 21 does is spectacular but the game is unfortunately ruined slightly by the collision and push/trip animations which are unbelievably poor. They fundamentally ruin immersion in what is otherwise a fantastic title.

I have an i7-9700F , GTX 1660 SUPER , 16 GB RAM
I need help and the developers dont answer me, if they can´t help me I need the refund of the game because i cant play with this bug. I have a bug in the game, like a goal net at the middle of the screen, and i don´t know how to solve it.
I like too much handball and I hope you fix this problem.

Hockey Manager 20|20
The game is as deep of a hockey sim as I’ve ever seen, however no NHL license is a bit of an immersion killer for me, because I spend more time editing than I do playing. Another downer for me is not having the ability to choose between Euros and Dollars or KG’s and LB’s. When there is a complete overhaul to the US and Canadian teams available in the workshop then I’ll be more interested in playing, but until then it’s FHM for me. If you don’t mind the lack of an NHL license and or editing for months, then the game might be for you. If you’re like me though, I can’t recommend it.

I like the editing options, there is a lot of play editing possibilities and you can even save and load edited databases. you can even get some addons here https://wasserlasser.com/
Although u might be spending a long time in the editor, the overall gameplay is nice and chill.

Pro Strategy Football 2022
I came into this series last year with Pro Strategy Football 2021. A game which, for an old time gamer sparked a lot of nostalgia in the way it was presented. There were things missing like game keeping records for head to head etc I fixed that little itch with a spreadsheet and small things like not being able to navigate to a players career stats from any screen. Still the game was a little gem.
Those things have been addressed with this addition along with numerous other improvements and continued optimizations as the game feels tighter and slicker when loading if that makes sense.

A tremendous effort by a lone indie developer with a day job. This game was created with love and passion for the game. Know what you are buying first, because it won’t be for everybody. Please read the description and feel free to ask things in the game forum first if you wish. The developer (Kerry) is very honest, open, and transparent - and very consumer friendly and a great guy! (plus it is a really terrific community too).
The game’s strength is the on-field gameplay - and in that department, it is unheralded, producing an accurate, realistic simulation of the game. You will not be controlling the players with a gamepad - it is focused on coaching, or if chosen, spectating games. In the coaching department there are thousands of plays that can be designed on the fly. This year many new formations (both classic and modern) were added and entire leagues (or individual teams) can be tailored to utilise them in ways that create their own characteristics or flavor (and there are mods done by really talented mod authors covering almost the entire NFL, USFL, and various other leagues too –- including fantasy leagues and teams).

Tennis Elbow Manager
This is a great game, I’ve been playing it since 2009, The developer has made updates yearly since then for players, tournaments. I purchased the game again just so i could have it added to my steam library, money well spent for all the time i have played this game.

Really good challenging game; was finding it really easy to get to the top 10 but then a massive struggle to get to the very top and consistently win majors. All very realistic statswise and accurately reflects the tour. Totally recommend it to all tennis fans.

Basketball Pro Management 2014
Don’t understand why so many bad reviews.
I find it well when we know it was developed by young students along with their studies … The game has come a long way since its first franchise and development team is very responsive to bug fixes. This version is more successful and games are more realistic.

As a fan and a player of basketball, i was always frustrated seeing that there was no game for basketball simulation unlike football (yeah it’s called football and not soccer).
It’s true, that this game is not perfect but considering that it is developed by few students, i found it pretty good actually.
I think that the true fans of basketball will appreciate to manage in every detail a team and notice that every decision made influences the game and the team.
For football fans who don’t know a lot about basketball, stick to football manager, or NBA 2K if you just want to press buttons on your gamepad and feel like you are playing basketball.

Cricket Captain 2014
Well every year Childish things have given us a cricket simulation game which, as far as I am aware, is the best cricket management game there is. There were some problems at start to actually get the game working, however thanks to a dedicated support team I was able to get everything sorted out! This year’s iteration brought a new interface which is visually pleasing yet may be lacking some features from the last iterations but this new style is a change for the good. This year for Childish Things was more trying to expand to other devices than adding, which is understandable since there isn’t a huge amount of people who buy it on PC.

I’ve been playing Cricket Captain since ICC III (2007) so have been a little disappointed with the ‘progress’ of the game since then. It’s been 8 years….
This game is a little bit of an upgrade from 2013 as it’s got better shot play, more field settings etc but still not what I was really expecting in terms of progress made on the game.
For example, Cricket Coach brings out a new game each year with loads of new features after lots of talk with the CC community….Cricket Captain very rarely communicate and take on decent ideas from the community ever.

Cricket Captain 2015
I have loved the Cricket Captain series for a long time, and I buy it every couple of years. This version is as much fun as always and looks a good deal slicker than previous versions, which is great.
I still feel like the series is a little lazy, especially when compared with sports management simulators where there is more competition - e.g. Football Manager. A few small changes could make this series so much better.
One major failing is that it is impossible to be sacked or to move counties or countries once you have started a game. I think it would be great if the Board of your team (domestic or international) set seasonal goals and would review your position based on your attainment of the goals. These could be based around performance in competitions, development of youth players, marquee signings, or anything like this. Similarly, fan satisfaction would be a great feature - are the fans happy with the performance of the team; are the attached to the players; do they like the style of cricket you’re playing? If so, more fans should turn up to games and the county should make more money.

This is a wonderful cricket simulation game - hands down the best I’ve ever played. I think I’ve sunk something like 400 hours into this game and its 2014 predecessor, more than any other game I own on steam.
This game has two weaknesses that I think account for most of the negative reviews on steam. Its true that this game lacks some of the wider elements of sports management that other high profile titles have. Its strength is its match engine though, which performs well across all forms of the game (one dayers, tests and T20s) and can still give the occassional surprise. Seriously, I’ve played this game for 400 hours plus, and every game is still a nailbiter.

Cricket Captain 2019
OD matches are impossible to win, you can score 400 still not win, try chasing that and you’re all out for 70-130, horrendous, fix this obvious fault where even shitty players score at 14 an over against you. Really spoilt this game for me. Could we have an editor like the F.M. or Rugby League series too. F.C and Test I can win all day but OD and T20 just totally ruin the game. Won’t be playing again or buying future games until this is resovled. As you can see I’ve tried many hours to try fix.
– Real player with 387.6 hrs in game
The match engine is definitely the best thing about this game. Having said that, the rng seems dead set against you, whether you are batting or bowling and whatever difficulty you choose to employ. I’ve resorted to using a data editor to make life more bearable - it gets that frustrating.
The ‘management’ side of the game is quite shallow and it has been since the very first iteration of Cricket Captain. It’s hardly changed at all over the years and I call that lazy programming. Because it has virtually no competition in the gaming market, the devs have been guilty of complacency and show no signs of beefing up the game engine in any meaningful way.
