Careful tho' : This is local multiplayer, so no online, even if you can fix that by playing with Parsec.

Welcome to an energetic family-friendly multiplayer couch potato game that contains a nice selection of game modes capable of providing hours of entertainment. Grab some friends and prepare yourself for a furious battle to be boss of the arena. Its fantasy-based theme is cute and it’s fun to play the various maps with their different themes. It has a nice assortment of arenas and modes to choose from as well as the class modifiers giving the title a wide range of options to keep the game fun trying out different combinations. You can play with two to four players (there is no single-player for the title). With free-for-all, teams, or cooperative mode giving many options to enjoy.

Ballsy! World Cup 2020
Great little footy game, enjoyed it so much so far. If you are fan of Amiga’s or C64 football games, retro look will warm your heart. Ballsy! plays smooth and after recent update, without any issues on Linux. I highly recommend this game.

Fun little arcade soccer game. Reminds me of something retro like the original fifa for the sega genesis or something like sensible soccer but has some nice tight controls that make it fun. Liked the AI and felt the teams had their own personality in their style of play. I play short little games to just take my mind of things. World cup is short and sweet, maybe making this game online would give it more longevity. But I would recommend for any soccer/football fans that like that arcade feel (no fouls or throw-ins keep the action going).

Super Volley Blast
Got this game because I’ve been searching for a volleyball game for a while. It’s actually a lot more fun than you would think.
Pros:
-Good character customization
-Actually quite funny
-Mechanics feel smooth
-No bugs/Runs really well
-Good difficulty bots, not too hard or easy
The game is overall just a good time. If you think it’s too easy, up difficulty, to hard, lower it. Power up mode is quite fun and allows you to challenge yourself more. Story mode is funny, and quite challenging. I am on my 4th run currently and it’s still keeping my interest. Now the cons;

This is definitely a fun game, but the AI sometimes makes some weird mistakes especially when the ball is going in the middle between the players, it will almost 99% of the time not go for the ball on the serve receive. Also there might be a bug in the game when the computer hits the ball to the top left corner of the map, you can clearly see it out but the ref calls it in and gives the point to the opposing team. Other than those 2 small complaints this game is a blast. Even better when you have friends that play volleyball and know how to run plays and set a 1 ball and no when to take it over on 2. We had many volleys going for at least 3 min.

Kraken Smash: Volleyball
I love this game! It’s got the right amount of competitiveness to keep it fun and ongoing. If you like Lethal League, you’ll love playing this game with friends.
I’d love to see some sort of mini game for solo to act as a sort of tutorial but also something that allows a single player to enjoy the game more when playing by themselves. The bot is a little hard but I feel like it being hard really teaches you how to play and get better.
The only thing that truly bothers me is the specific, animated orange background that’s extremely distracting towards the bottom. It’s still playable, but it’s too similar to the ball color when it reaches the second hit. Other than that, I haven’t run into any other issues yet!

Dangerous Golf
So, played for the past 15 minutes….it’s pretty fun! Price isn’t bad for some crashbreaking fun.
If you have a mid-range computer you probably can’t enjoy this game in full glory. My video settings are all turned down load, but the textures are set to High. You can cap the framerate to 60Hz, which means there is actually 60 fps support.
I think this would play better on a beefy computer, since it’s Unreal Engine 4.
However, having no keyboard or mouse support is kind of a loss. You do need an Xbox 360/One controller, or in my case, a Wii U Pro controller.

I love Burnout games. They’re some of the best car racing games in my opinion, very arcadey, but when you mess up it turns into beautiful beautiful destruction porn.
Dangerous Golf looks to be the same game, in fact I’ve been tracking this game for awhile, ever since the first beautiful destruction video came out. The entire world getting destroyed in beautiful slow mo, and I was in love. I wanted this game. I bought the humble bundle with this game in to finally get this game, and … well the love affair is over. The destruction porn idea is still here in some extent, the problem is it’s trying to be burnout without the game behind it.

Alright, this is my review for SSDT! As previous reviews said, if you like arcade, fast-paced action sports games, this one is for you! Choose your favorite athlete and you’re ready to go!
You can customize about everything about the match; Time per period, number of periods, arena size, what kind of ball appears, events that can occur right in the middle of the match, the number of points given depending on how the goal was scored, etc. You can also select from 4 different colors for your team.

At first I thought this game was going to be a just a silly party game, with just chaos and luck reigning above skill. But what I found was that this games mechanics are FAR deeper than just the surface.
Shooting, for example, has 3 levels of charge, and each character does different things based on the charge level. The Football player will just throw the ball on the first 2 levels, but he’ll punt it on the third. Soccer will shoot on the ground on the first charge, but the second, he’ll kick it above his oppents heads, and on the third, he’ll aim for the field goals.

Zero-G
I have played a lot of good games this year, but I can honestly say that Zero-G is the best of them. If you like Rocket League and NHL, you will love this game. Looking forward to play coop !
