  • If your a new player, you won’t be allowed in any rooms. This game hates new players, as you will be 50 levels less than anyone else, NOBODY will want you on their team, so you can’t play.

  • The game uses a stupid peer 2 peer hosting system, and as all the gamer base is Bulgarian (literally 15 people play btw, not even joking), you will have really bad lag unless you are from Bulgaria. They won’t let anyone else host.

  • Bullying of players is unlike anything I’ve seen in any other game. It’s 2021 guys. Disappointing the admins do nothing about this, and surprised steam allows it.

it’s pretty much what it used to be during the gametribe era, except leveling is much faster now. back in the days it would take more than a week to reach level 18, now it takes less than a day. graphics are kind of outdated but after the closure of freestyle football, this game is one of its kind so give it a try if you like the genre. hopefully publishers will advertise the game because it’s only as good as the size of its community and it needs to grow

IOSoccer

I’ve played this game since 2004 and it’s the only game that has kept my attention through the entirity of my gaming life. This latest release is a huge effort from the IOSoccer Team to bring it to another public release many years later after the initial development team gave up on it. The game also boasts a great community who are always making new kits, teams, leagues and other content to give the game a great competitive edge.

My best advice to new players is to not be put off by the steep learning curve of playing football with a mouse and keyboard. Once mastered, this game will give you more freedom as a player than any other game on the market. Yes, that includes Fifa and PES Be a Pro modes.

The closest game there has ever been to being a real football player part of a team.

I have played this game since 2003, I must have around 10k hours on this game. No game has ever came close to my love for this game. Public is great fun but when you join a team(clan), the game really shines, creating a club, designing your logo, your kit and even perhaps a stadium and challenging for leagues is the closest you will ever get to being a professional footballer. The community is amazing, with games geared towards ranking and elo systems, a massive part of online gaming has been lost and thats community. Everything on this game is community ran and becuase of this the game excels.

Soccer Manager 2020

Soccer Manager 2020

one of the best football management on Steam i have played and i have played both the 2015 and 2019 versions as well and i feel that this version is far more than a roster upgrade

For a start a lot more teams are featured like my team Boston United (also Liverpool but of course they have been init before)

New 3d matches are far better and the option to skip matches with the quick play feature is very welcome

Also has plenty of new achievement to get from signing a player to win the league and everything in between which makes it feel far more fleshed out then versions before it

I didn’t think I would say it, but this years' edition is borderline good. Soccer Manager 2020 might be your best choice for a free to play, single player footie manager on Steam.

This year

– the game became free of any significant pay to win mechanics

– matches no longer seem to be scripted

– you can fully develop all your facilities, without using real life money or insane amounts of in-game grinding

– we got a new and improved 3D match engine

– Steam achievements are back

– the new menu music is again pretty decent

First this is a mobile Facebook game ported to PC/Steam.

Yes this is a very addictive game, and is fun. However to have fun you need Goldfish to purchase most things. You will never earn enough Goldfish to upgrade. This is a very nice CASH GRAB game.

Get out your wallet, you will be buying Goldfish at twice the normal cash grab game prices. $12 gets you 500 goldfish. The best rod is 9500 Goldfish.

The game is free, if you can keep from spending more money than you can afford you will probably enjoy the game. If you can’t afford to spend money on this (think $12+USD weekly) don’t start. The game really is fun addictive game play. Fish look good, game mechanics are decent overall, it’s just the constant need to purchase Goldfish with real money. It’s very easy to want to purchase Goldfish. Everyone I’ve played with has purchased GF, IMO you simply won’t be able to enjoy the game without a fair amount of real money every week or so.

Adventure Climb VR

Adventure Climb VR

This is FREE SOLO for VR

It’s a fun FREE intro game made by a small indie group and it doesn’t disappoint. Contains one level, which once competent takes about 90 seconds to confidently complete…yet some have done it in under 30seconds - no idea how! (must be some secrets there!)

Achievements and Easter eggs make you want to play more than just the single level that it is. While lots could be added - this is a free, fun game for all the family!

UPDATE: within a few days of launch, they pushed a big update - it now has gravity. This means it’s a lot harder, and IMO much more fun. It also means you can launch yourself in different directions. Would love to see that utilized more.

Here’s the full level on the Samsung Odyssey+: https://youtu.be/XjtuOQXO_70

Pros

-Great VR experience with achievements

-Free to play

-Works with a Windows Mixed Reality headset (WMR) even when it’s not shown on the store page

-There’s multiple paths and secrets for replayability

-Completing the level rapidly for the speed achievements could be considered exercise, especially for the Super Sonic achievement (I’ve done it under 60 seconds (Opens achievement) and under 40 seconds (Super Sonic achievement))

I think the most important answer hidden in reviews

of Early Access games is the answer to the question:

“Is this game worth of buying at this stage of

development?” In my Early Access review of

Pool Nation FX I’ll try to convince you that in this

case the choice is easier like never before in the

whole Early Access games history.

Lazy Dev, Broken Game, Broken Promises

Don’t bother with leagues. You get 1 loss recorded for every game you enter and 3 losses per loss. It’s completely unplayable. The dev doesn’t care and won’t admit anything.

Don’t bother with snooker. The physics are broken, and the shot guide doesn’t work. Again, the dev doesn’t care.

Don’t bother reading the forums. Every bug somebody posts is taken down and replaced with praise from brand new accounts.

Don’t bother playing the “for cash” games. The game takes your currency, then doesn’t pay out when you win. The dev won’t admit this issue, even though it’s all over the forums.

SNOW - The Ultimate Edition

SNOW - The Ultimate Edition

I can’t believe how many bad reviews this game got. It’s ridiculous. Espescially seeing all the complaints about things like speed and physics when in reality this game has WAY more realistic speed and physics than any other snow games out there like SSX Shaun White Snowboarding etc. All those games have horrible physics and DO NOT replicate real life snow sports what so ever. The funny thing is I have snowboarded all my life and didn’t even care much for skiing, so I was dissappointed that snowboarding isn’t in the game yet, but I went ahead and purchased anyways because I couldn’t wait any longer since there are no other games out there like this one. Long story short this game actually made me like skiing for the first time ever in the 18 years of my life of being a snowboarder. I’ve also been waiting for a game like this forever literally. NO COMPANY has ever made a snow sports game so realistic. I needed a game like this so badly and it’s finally here. So here’s my review:

Real player with 542.7 hrs in game

For the record, before the M10 update, I would have recommended this game.

But with the new update, the game is so much less enjoyable.

SKI PASSES

I’ll start the with the biggest change: the ski passes. This is a very logical concept and, if it were well executed and well implemented into the game, it would have been great. Basically, if you don’t buy any ski passes, you only have access to the tutorial map and one other map, which cycles between all maps every week. With this change, the game doesn’t feel free-to-play at all, it just feels like you’re playing a trial version of the game. If we had at least one other map permanently unlocked like nine knights or something, it would make it sooo much better. Or cycking two maps at a time instead of only one.

3on3 FreeStyle: Rebound

3on3 FreeStyle: Rebound

Dead game like Freestyle 2: Street Basketball

After a certain level like F2:SB you play with all the higher level players that have all the unlock of most of them. Better abilities skills etc. It is at level 10.

After level 15, you get matched up with max level players, with no near any missed shots

Pay-to-win game, can’t win if you miss events, etc. you will be too far behind.

Too low population will match with higher levels that can always win against you.

Dead game about 100 ish players on steam population.

Real player with 50.4 hrs in game

What a real pity. I had read the reviews before trying the game and I hesitated to try it for quite a while fearing it truly was Pay to Win. But in the end due to a serious lack of street basketball games I surrendered and played the game for about 2 weeks, every day.

Now I know all those reviews were right. The game is ok for the first 10 levels or so. It looks fine despite there’s no full support to controllers. At first, despite the messy UI and bugs the game itself is fun enough for you to start considering investing some money.

WGT Golf

WGT Golf

This is the most expensive golf game you will ever buy. The game is what many people have become to hate, and that is a FTP, but Fail to Win if you don’t spend money. I am not talking about spending a few dollars on something you enjoy, but you could literally spend hundreds on this game. If the developers spent as much time on the game itself instead of the marketing scheme they created to get you to buy ever item they are selling, this might be a decent game.

The fact is if you buy nothing you will only get so far and have a hard time getting lower scores especially without a decent distanced driver and 3-wood. You won’t be able to reach the green in two on some par 4’s. You also will not be able to buy certain clubs until you unlock them. What this does is present you minor improvement clubs that you might need to advance and then you unlock other clubs that if you had access to, you might not have to keep buying several tiers of clubs instead. Again, this game is nothing more than a marketing scheme.

Real player with 436.4 hrs in game

Okay, at 17 hours, I think I can make a judgement on this game.

WGT or World Golf Tour is both a Steam and Browser-based golf game. The fact that it is free play on both platforms is a plus. Also, your stats/levels transfer between the two.

Graphics

I don’t think the people who are criticizing the graphics have played golf or watched it on TV. There are no swoopy 3D cameras save for perhaps the intro to a particular hole. In this game, the 3D players and balls are tracked on hi-rez 2D photographs. They are not low-rez, and they are not Google Earth, so don’t believe what you read.

Jackpot Poker by PokerStars

This game is bad. If you can connect and get to a game, you are then automatically put on ‘sit out’ mode, every time you click ‘I’m back’ sometimes it lets you click the call or check button, but then immediately switches you back to sit out and you loose the hand. Sometimes you can’t see the cards at all, or the community cards. If you log out and then immediately restart the game you automatically seem to loose half your stack. This game is very buggy, especially right now (8pm utc time). There’s no way to contact the developers other than default choice of 6 options. Don’t bother with this as it is soo laggy it is unplayable and it just winds you up.

Real player with 132.8 hrs in game

Well i am going to have to not recomend this poker game as it has a Pay to Win system, yet no way to withdraw winnings because that would be illegal.

So if you are going to play poker stars, play the real one where you can actually win CASH back, because this is got to be a joke.

If you just want to play until the free chips run out and come back for the daily free small amount of chips and play for practice that would be fine.

Also steam isn’t the only platform using this game, mobile users and other logins from other platforms can logon to this game and play it.
