Concept Destruction
Concept Destruction In-Depth Review
Concept Destruction is another attempt bring back the Destruction Derby style genre into the modern day, and it does this quite well!
Optimization & PC Settings
In terms of graphics, the game has settings for things like bloom, depth of field, ambient occlusion, but nothing for texture quality, which is a bit disappointing because many of the textures are lower quality, and compressed. This is very apparent on the room texture, where its a very bad compressed 2D image. The optimization is a little hit or miss. I’ll see many times where the game is running a high framerate, but instantly will bog down to 60 - 70 FPS when there is a lot of vehicle parts on screen. For a game that is very simplistic with graphics, its a head scratcher on why the FPS can be so inconsistent. I hope that the developer can improve this optimization aspect, and give us an option to improve texture quality.

So, Destruction Derby/Flatout (well, more DD than Flatout) mixed with Micro Machines (I’m not that old but yeah, I know those). Visually, the game is good, the miniature cardboard aesthetic is done quite well but that’s about everything positive there is say about this game.
The controls is the second best thing to say about this game, why second? Well, they work but apparently the developer doesn’t play PC games cos acceleration, turning and reverse is all mapped to the arrow keys instead of WASD. Yeah, I know I can use a controller, but guess what, it doesn’t work with this game, I’m not sure if it’s the gamepad or the controller so I won’t bash the game for this. I’ll just guess is restricted to player 2 or something dumb like that. Which btw, the game doesn’t have online play, just local and split screen, just like on the good old days of gaming… except I don’t have anyone to play with and can’t invite anyone because… ya know.

Touring Karts
i received this game for free as a part of the pre-release testing phase. with that being said, i offered to pay for access and had been anticipating this title for months before it released from the first time i saw a post about it on FB.
the game hit a lot of check boxes for me right out of the gates such as
[x] visually appealing and performant
[x] good use of quality audio
[x] multiple control schemes to suit multiple play styles (the virtual steering wheel in a recent update worked very well and was VERY fun compared to the original implementation)

Add me on steam and DISCORD. Anyone who wants to play this game. TRAMPASAURUSREX #5046 Simply one of the best VR games around. I was sure I was gonna be dissapointed, cause I’m just not as into racing games as I was. But because I used to be I still kinda know what to look for. While this may be simplistic in the racing mechanics, it is amazing fun. It actually isn’t completely simple. Easy to play using the toggle on a standard motion controller. But if you use the virtual wheel, a bit of a challenge at first. I put the sensitivity all the way down, and for a round wondered if it could even be made to work consistently. Then I figured it out. I was just moving my wheel arm around a bit too much. I sat it my girls rocking chair with a pillow under me and one on my back. lol Footstool in front of that. I laid my arm a little on the arm rest, hand and controller angled toward my lap/legs. I found that if you just rest your arm in the same position, and rotate your hand like you are holding a little wheel, which you are, then it is perfect. I figured out that I can have even more control of my car with the virtual wheel. Only took me three rounds to get the sweet spot. Use the centering button like this. Lean forward a little bit, hit center, then relax back. Gives ya a little more space. Also makes watching the rear view mirrors easier, and also give ya some leaning room for throwing stuff behind you like an a$$#@$^. lols I adore this game. Great for parties, great for online. Even the bots are fun. The ability to combine powerups is awesome. I was rocking super chickens a lot. lols But I wiped everyone else out and lapped them with a triple chicken bomb. hahha. The racing aspects are fun. The courses are fun, with crazy events breaking them up, like a giant monkey throwing stuff at all of you. You can be in the front and suddenly be at the end. You can also, with some smart driving and use of powerups switch that and go right past everyone to number one. The power ups require some aiming and actual skill, for most, and many of them, if you are very sharp, and have good instincts and reflexes, can be dodged. Everything in this game is perfectly balanced. If this is early access then I cannot wait to see what they do with it next. The people asked for a virtual wheel, and the devs delivered almost immediately. It really does feel like you are driving it with a little toy wheel when you get your hand in that sweet spot and figure it out. Really adds to the immersion and fun. Plus I hear it supports almost all driving wheels. The devs have really outdone themselves and anyone else with this game. Love it. 💖💖💖💖 Little tip, don’t grind the break button when drifting. It seems to work better most of the time to tap it. Hooks those corners nice and tight. Also gets you out of trouble. Of course if you know you have an enemy coming up on you, and you saw their weapon, sometimes you can break, drop back behind them dodging their weapon, and then use your on them. Depending on the situation. I like to play tricky. lol Also there is just enough bullying to make it viable, require a lot of skill, and enough to make it fun. If you see someone close to a wall and they have to turn into a corner. Give them a little ram and they slam. hahah. For when you don’t have a powerup, or you wanna save it for the next guy. Again, a great game. This game would also be fun on any platform, whether it is flat screen or vr. It’s mostly a game for people who like to be friendly jerks.

Athletics 3: Summer Sports
pretty fun game for the price, controls are kinda boring and very similar in most events and the graphics are pretty bad. But there are a lot of events and still a decently fun game. Reminds me a bit of London 2012 although that game is a lot better

Bloody Rally Show
200 character summary
Bloody Rally Show is an absolutely unfair rogue like top down racing game with very nice controls and 4 player split screen, earn money, Kill peds for nitro, use weapons to kill, Anything for the win.
Story & Characters 9/10
You wake up in 2084 as a custom protagonist You had an accident in 2021 and where put into a cryosleep, to pay it back you have to compete in the most popular form of entertaintment these days. It is a dystopian future and the global economy has been taken over in the year 2030 by that big tech company you should know about. When they focussed on Entertainment and noticed Rally was very popular in the 80s because of the high accident rate so surely enough Bloody Rally Show was born. It is very popular so social media influencers are always on top of the action to get those likes, no matter how dangerous it is.

Let’s backtrack a little bit, one year or so later, when I was bored out of my mind for games. I am a fan of top-down racers, things like the original Death Rally and others, and I saw this game. It looked really rough with sort of 3d car models in a 2d environment, but the game had something that stuck by me. Generated roads and a hint of rogue-lite. So, I was interested and unexpectedly, I was received a key, in return for something - FEEDBACK. So, I did my best I could. Let’s fast forward to where we are.

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit
People who grew up playing NFS Underground 1 and 2 will most likely be disappointed, since the focus on customization and 4-cylinder tuners that they know and love aren’t featured in this game.
! People who know that Need For Speed existed before Underground will know that despite the powerups and pop music, this is the closest NFS has been to the original games in a long time.
Gameplay-wise, from an outside perspective, Hot Pursuit does what an arcade racer should do best and focuses on high-speed driving above all else. Not only is the game arcade-y from a physics perspective, but it’s actually set up kind of like a game you’d see in an actual arcade; you don’t buy or upgrade cars at all, nor do you unlock the city part by part. You simply have a list of available cars, you pick what you want, and you start racing. I can see how most people would think that might be a negative thing (I myself probably would have preferred buying and upgrading vehicles) but I think the “quick race” approach works surprisingly well here. The driving feels good to me; the cars have a good amount of weight to them but are still easy to handle. Being able to play as a racer or a cop feels good too, and Criterion did a good job of infusing the game with some Burnout-influenced mechanics (such as takedowns and earning nitro) while still making Hot Pursuit feel distinctly like it’s own game.

This is by a long shot, the best car racing game that I’ve ever played! Even though it was made in 2010, the graphics are stunning and the features of the game are very realistic. I played the wii version of the game and it is entirely different but this one is more challenging than that one.
You can play as the scpd (cops) and a racer, there are 2 different careers, one as a cop, and the other, a racer.
As you progress as a racer, you get bounty to unlock better cars, upgraded equipment, and the most dangerous thing about a racer, your suspect bounty increases, so more cops chase you. As a racer, you can change the color of a car but as a cop, you cannot change the color.

Slopecrashers
Yes! You read right, arcade snowboarding is back! Which means SLOPECRASHERS is crafted with one thing in mind and that is FUN! This starts from the character selection screen and goes down into the core physics of the game. So press START, choose a character, a board and a hangglider, optionally even up to three buddies of yours for SPLITSCREEN MULTIPLAYER and hit the slopes!
STUNTS, STUNTS and more STUNTS. Yes, very important, because the more daring a stunt is, the more speed you will get out of it. Oh and COMBOS! Chain those stunts together with manuals, small tricks and railslides and redeem the combo meter when you are ready for that EXTRA SPEEDBOOST!
Oh, you thought you could go for a chill ride? I mean yeah you can but look out for your opponents causing EXPLOSIONS, MOLES digging up the ground beneath you, ANGRY SNOWMEN trying to stop you and much more. So go collect items and PROTECT yourself or ATTACK the others! (But for those moments when you just want to cruise down the track and explore everything the slopes have to offer you can choose an opponent-free game mode as well)
And btw, these slopes are not just in snow environments. No! Where we’re shredding, WE DON’T NEED SNOW! So don’t wonder if the next race/slalom/stuntshow/… starts in a shopping mall, a hot desert or a tropical jungle area!

Pacer
An Extremely Solid AG Racer
Very worth the wait
Summary:
While the title leaves me scratching my head, nearly everything else about Formula Fusion’s re-incarnation as Pacer has left me very impressed. With an aesthetic somewhere between the PS1 and PS3 era Wipeout games and dripping with detail, the environments here are a sight to behold. The physics model is more traditional to the genre than, say, Redout - leaning more towards the later Wipout games with just a touch of later F-Zero as well. Put another way, the racing model is approachable, intuitive, and smooth - a far cry from the formerly awkward, stilted iterations past. The craft are fun to pilot and have lots of room for customizing to suit your personal style.

tl;dr:
-
Fantastic visuals
-
Physics which scratch that Wipeout itch
-
Good performance; great performance after the first patch
-
Good multiplayer when you can find it
-
Confusing UI
-
OK music
-
If you can’t progress in the campaign, use the garage!
-
There are multiple weapons & items. Again, use the garage.
-
If you suddenly notice your shield/health steadily dropping for “no reason”, it’s probably not a bug; you’re probably in an endurance event
-
If your position jumps suddenly at the end of a lap, having been static the whole way round, that is probably also not a bug; you’re in a “speed lap” event

Quantum Rush Champions
This was originally written on QR:Online, but since that game was removed I’ll re-post this.
An excellent Anti-Gravity Racer, QR is well worth picking up. Especially when you consider its indie price tag.
For those who insist on drawing comparisons to other games -
F-Zero focuses more on speed and wide, flowing tracks, WipEout focuses more on technical tracks with tight handling and narrow roadways. QR is a happy middleground. It feels competitive with F-Zero in terms of pace, but has some more technical tracks that feel more remiscent of WipEout.

I don’t understand how, but they somehow managed to turn a rather good game ( Quantum Rush Online ) into a boring and flawed single player game. After playing QR online for some time, I immediately bought QR Champions in early access tu support the devs. And as usual, I regret having bought an EA game… Here are some of the obvious flaws I’ve encountered, I’ve already listed that on the forum, and other players complained about them too, but it seems that the devs just don’t give a damn about user feedback :
