Speedy Golf
Speedy Golf is simply a blast! I generally don’t like golf games but this one is different. It’s fast paced, fun, and a bit silly.
I’ve had so many fun nights jumping into this with friends.
It’s one of those games where it’s easy to learn but difficult to become an expert. I’ve really enjoyed learning strategies to improve my online leaderboards.
I’m also a big fan of coop games. Speedy Golf has a Leap Frog mode that adds a really engaging coop mechanic to golfing.
10/10 hands down great game.

Get a group of friends together, and try out Leap Frog mode. It’s a form of scotch doubles, or alternating shots every turn. It’s absolutely hilarious when you fill a room with 8 players split into 4 teams of 2.
This game will entertain both golf and racing fans alike! The golf feels great, and the online setup puts most online racing games to shame. Online leaderboards means you can compare your skill to players all around the world - load up their ghost and race directly against them to improve your time!

Wand Wars
Wand Wars is a really polished game, and probably the best party-game I’ve ever played.
While there’s a clear Lethal League feel to it, it’s clearly more accessible, because the game mechanics are so simple. The problem with Lethal League is that even though it’s an excellent game, it has that fighting game aspect that makes it very complex. You’ve got to learn safe zones, angles of shooting, bunts, with or without jumps, special moves, etc… and consequently, when you hit 50 hours of playtime, your friends will be no match for you anymore.

I love playing four player co-op games that are suitable for groups of varied skill level. This game manages brilliantly, another title with simple controls but surpisingly deep gameplay. Plus superb art and visual effects, stuff that makes the gameplay feel super satisfying when you land that sick off the wall double kill. In addition to the main mechanic of playing dodgeball with a big ball of magic you have power-ups and the ability to turn other players into chickens (take that Kyle). Lastly the game comes with a good selection of maps, each with its own unique twist. One map has fires you can light with your chicken spell, light them all and you summon a minion to help you; another features bubbles that you must break to get the powerups. All in all this is one of those games that will have all your friends asking when they can stop by and play again.

Laser League: World Arena
I’ve already spent many hours in this game. Given the current size of the community (some say the community is dead), I honestly struggled a bit to get to just under 75 hours of gameplay. I’m trying my best to will my way to prestiging in the game versus pretty much all AI. It’s a slog.
When the community was bustling during beta and the early days of early access, I was extremely happy. This game is so frantic and fun, I honestly enjoy it more than other arcade-y sports games like Rocket League. Where with Rocket League I feel like I’m always fighting with my controller, Laser League has very natural movement that make me feel in complete control. When I die in Laser League, it’s usually due to a stupid mistake or an outstanding play by the other team. In Rocket League, I feel like I miss shots because, well, it’s not exactly easy to control a flying car and hit a ball perfectly (though I still do love Rocket League!).

A quick note that I wrote this review several months ago, before the news that the game would be handed over to CE-Asia, and made free to play, and the game was pulled from purchasing from the Steam store.
Onto the review:
A wonderful game on it’s own, and I’d give it 5* if I could. It’s designed well, there’s plenty of content in the game, the visual and sound design is great, and it doesn’t get too repetitive, but there’s a glaring issue with the game at the moment: The lack of players.

Super Volley Blast
Got this game because I’ve been searching for a volleyball game for a while. It’s actually a lot more fun than you would think.
Pros:
-Good character customization
-Actually quite funny
-Mechanics feel smooth
-No bugs/Runs really well
-Good difficulty bots, not too hard or easy
The game is overall just a good time. If you think it’s too easy, up difficulty, to hard, lower it. Power up mode is quite fun and allows you to challenge yourself more. Story mode is funny, and quite challenging. I am on my 4th run currently and it’s still keeping my interest. Now the cons;

This is definitely a fun game, but the AI sometimes makes some weird mistakes especially when the ball is going in the middle between the players, it will almost 99% of the time not go for the ball on the serve receive. Also there might be a bug in the game when the computer hits the ball to the top left corner of the map, you can clearly see it out but the ref calls it in and gives the point to the opposing team. Other than those 2 small complaints this game is a blast. Even better when you have friends that play volleyball and know how to run plays and set a 1 ball and no when to take it over on 2. We had many volleys going for at least 3 min.

Crazy Pixel Streaker
Crazy Pixel Streaker is a retro pixel multiplayer co-op arcade survival shooter/brawler where you take part in a pitch invasion during a sporting event and fight off waves of security guards.
It looks like a modest amount of effort went into the game, but I’m not sure why. The graphics are pretty bad, using lazy retro pixel style which is really ugly and a cop-out for developers who can’t afford an artist. Gameplay is kind of okay but also kind of tedious, if I was playing a local co-op game I’d probably want to play something like Smash Bros, it’s not like this is a game format that the PC is crying out with demand for. I really don’t see the point of the game, and $7.50 for a pixel game is insulting, so I don’t recommend this at all.

Keeping an eye on this game all the way back from when it first appeared on Greenlight, Crazy Pixel Streaker is a pretty good entry in Steam Early Access.
The developers put everything in there that they promised they would do so far. A working online mode, small character customizations with hats that you get from bosses and give you different bonuses, The Party Mode with a cute minigame that is kind of like Rocket League.
All of this however, is just a framework. CPS has the potential of having so much more stuff in it. More stadiums, more crazy weapons and character customization, more mini games that have party game potential….

DodgeBall VR
Lots of bugs. Ball is hard to throw, since it seems to stick in place sometimes when you throw/release grip. Uses plenty of apparently stock assets and music. I’d be more interested in this game if it had multiplayer and if it were more developed. Concept is cool, but the game needs more work.
