Beautiful game with narration

The art, music, and voice acting in this game is very nice. I enjoyed the story, the way it unfolds is enjoyable. The concept could have been fleshed out a bit more.

The USD $10 price tag is a bit steep for some people, considering the length of the VN. If you can catch it on sale, go ahead. You will enjoy it over a cup of coffee.

A very short interactive story featuring soothing narration and top-notch voice acting.

Game’s premise:

_**The game is set on lunar base, now that the life on earth has ceased its existence.

You wake up at the sound a soothing voice. Rick is standing in front of you while stating that the Christmas day has come.

With the reassuring company offered by Rick and your cat Elec, you live through your daily slow-paced routine.**_

Featurings:

This game does offer an interactive story to experience in a form quite comparable to reading an actual book, with the addition of Japanese voice acting.

Lies Under Ice

Lies Under Ice

The future of humanity in space is under your control as you manage a moon base in the shadow of Jupiter. Will you play the political mastermind or rise above the fighting factions?

Lies Under Ice is an interactive science-fiction thriller by Joey Jones where you take on the role of the protagonist.

Build a scientific outpost on Europa, exploring the moon and the alien life that lurks in the vast ocean under the icy crust. Build a sprawling tunnel complex in the ice or bring about climate change to terraform Europa into an ocean world. Share your alien findings, or capitalise on the research for profit. Be a paragon of the human race or transcend the human form entirely.

Play as a female, male or non-binary president, captain, or commander: it’s your base… until re-election!

  • Play as one of six unique character professions: diplomat, aerospace engineer, asteroid miner, pilot or marine biologist.

  • Come from one of three distinct geopolitical backgrounds, each with their own separate intrigues: the ever-shrinking United Earth, the old-world Group of 81, or the fractious Libertalian Alliance.

  • Decide what animals to bring to space: experience a catsplosion of kitties, or be over-run by escaped lobsters? It’s your call.

  • Develop the base your way: prioritise the comfort of the workers, or try to maximise the scientific output; build luxury domes, mazes of ice tunnels or try your hand at terraforming.

  • Involve yourself in romantic entanglements with your co-workers, or strike it alone.

  • Develop your out-of-work hobbies. After all, you never know when astronomy, cooking, poetry, lucid dreaming and more, will come in handy.

  • Make friends and enemies among the different political, scientific and corporate factions: you can’t please everyone all the time, who will you favor?

A Curse From Beyond

A Curse From Beyond

Really fun for a text-based game which is not my normal game. I felt freaked out in my gut about certain moment. Really impressive work from a solo-developer. Worth it.

Overall it’s a pretty interesting story about some cave folk doing cave folk things WHEN BOOM A FLYING HUNK OF SPACE S*** changes their mundane lives FOREVER. I dug the story and it does a pretty good job of grabbing your interest it’s a bit short and the plot seems pretty familiar, but it’s not frustrating to play through as a text based game(which is nice) and there’s multiple endings. You can see the effort the creator put into the game and it’s definitely a good solid first game.

Distant Transmission

Distant Transmission

I think this idea has a lot of potential, it’s a very fresh take on this genre of games but i really think the execution needs to be ironed out. I’m recommending this because i really do think this is such a great idea, but for example: the switching out of verbs imo really ruins it at some parts because sentences end up making 0 sense. It would a lot funnier if this game was more about improv writing exercises and then reading those out with your friends. Personally i would scrap the verb swapping entirely but i also wouldn’t mind if it was done less and the word changes had context behind them so it wouldn’t ruin every sentence.

My Typing Skill

This game is very well made. The graphics are smooth and the music is great. It would be lovely if the Training Mode had a way to measure your WPM. The Asteroid Mode is perfect, and the increasing speed makes for a great challenge. The Alien Mode is fun, but way too short–multiple levels would have been nice, or perhaps each time you play, the map layout and enemies change. All in all, it’s fun and has the potential to be even moreso.

Excellent game to type with ten fingers and smash things at the same time.

For the first time in human history, you can use this skill for the good of mankind.

With the strange scenarios there is much motivation to become a typing expert.

One of the games I would recommend even my own children, if I had any =D

Thanks Mr. RewindApp :) You got interesting little games.

Professor Watts Word Search: Space Voyage

Professor Watts Word Search: Space Voyage

It generates boards that are unplayable. A word or two will be missing a letter or incorrectly overlapped by another word eliminating valid letters. I just had a round where I spent all the time looking for the word “MESSIER”, and eventually only found the letters “ESSIER” together, because the “M” was overwritten by an “L” from a different word.

This is a copy and paste review: Pretty much every game in this series bundle or every game made by these developers comes with achievements already unlocked, you start the game run for a minute close it and all the achievements or the single achievement unlocks.

These games whether it’s the Trivia Games, the Word Search or the Picture search game, they are all reskins of each other, the concept behind these are all plain and boring, no creativity went into any of these games, you buy these games purely for the +1 to your Game and Perfect Game count and nothing more. That is the only reason why i’m giving it a positive review, i knew before hand what these games were about and that’s why i decided to buy them.

CompactO - Idle Game

CompactO - Idle Game

I could have gotten this for free but decided to buy it instead. There was more content in the alpha version but it was removed due to it being pretty broken. There is more content currently in development that will extend the life of the game and help to better balance the later game. The dev has made some other games that I enjoy playing and look forward to where this one goes.

Edit: A lot more content has been added.

Real player with 180.4 hrs in game

This game is short and sweet for an idle game. Definitely not worth $2.99. On top of that, once you beat the game it allows you to keep playing in order to earn more money, but I have now gotten to the point where I can’t even open the game because my numbers are too big for the game to handle. The prestige system in this game is fairly boring and the second layer of prestiging is lame because you quickly get to the point where it is working as fast as possible and all you can do is wait. It was overall a fun game but not worth any money.

STAR FLEET II - Krellan Commander Version 2.0

STAR FLEET II - Krellan Commander Version 2.0

Star Fleet II: Krellan Commander is the second in the Star Fleet series of advanced space strategy simulations. Having fought as an Alliance starship commander in Star Fleet I to stem the onslaught of the Krellan and Zaldron Empires, now you get a chance to try command on the “winning” side.

A Pitched Battle with an Enemy Starbase

As Commander of a Krellan Battlecruiser with four destroyer escorts (forming a “battle fleet”), your mission is to explore the star systems of the United Galactic Alliance looking for planets to conquer and Alliance warships to destroy. Your ships are equipped with the latest technology, including phasers, homing torpedoes and deadly obliterator pods. Also at your command are elite shock troops for boarding and capturing enemy vessels, and legions of Krellan warriors for planetary invasions.

Star Fleet II gives you more depth, complexity, and realism than any space war simulation before or since. But that’s not all! Star Fleet II is actually two games in one. Every time you invade a planet, Star Fleet II switches to a complete planetary invasion game that allows you to control the conquering Krellan forces in their attempt to overwhelm the planetary defenders.

From up to dozens of military targets on the detailed planetary map, select and control up to eight invasion zones from your Invasion Control Screen, or take personal command of your units. Your objectives: to capture cities and factories; knock out shield generators, planetary defense phasers, point defense lasers, and missile launchers; and eliminate both UGA troops and native militia forces. Like combat in space, planetary combat is real-time (no turns, but you can pause!).

Explore uncharted star systems and planets - your landing parties may even discover the ruins of ancient civilizations that may contain beneficial alien artifacts. Attack and pillage planets, wipe out civilizations with a single command, interrogate prisoners from a captured starliner, then beam those prisoners into the sun or empty space to improve your crew’s morale! Who says command can’t be fun?!

Capturing an Enemy Frigate
