EVIL STAR

EVIL STAR

The game is not really bad in itself. The graphics and the songs are good, there is the choice in mutliple spaceships with different special power. But that’s all. The game is really simple, you just have to click on the left and right mouse buttons to turn in the associated direction, and there is nothing more. It’s all the the time the same thing with the same damn music that is good at first, but that become really really annoying after a moment. Also there is some bugs, if you buy a starship the price for the other rise, but if you close the game, when you restart it,the prices are back to the original for some but not for all the spaceships. I can’t recommended this game, exept if you want to play the same game during hours with a simplistic gameplay.

You move your spaceship with your two mouse buttons. No other controls. You dodge space rocks and collect energy tokens that you then spend to unlock or upgrade ships. Each ship has its own special ability. It’s just a time killer. It gets boring fast. Waste enough time and you will get all achievements, no skill required.

For what it is it’s really overpriced. The game has cards and backgrounds, but most of the backgrounds are just screenshots from the game and it won’t “wow” you with its graphics. You can get much better games for far less, with better graphics, better gameplay and better cards and backgrounds. Epido is one I would recommend.

Awesome graphics and interaction… just needs to go a lot farther. Fun but leaves SO much more to be developed. Could be adult oriented… or game oriented… either would sell. Right now it’s just a great demonstration of VR potential.

I’ve played it through twice. Its got good player interaction for a VN. It also has good character development (as deep as you can get in less then 2 hours), my complaint is that game gives us a variety about Imperial and other factions, but you give no information about them. A few blurbs of imagination that has already gone into the game would help players except the characters be more real. I don’t mind invisible histories, but I nice blurb about them can a long ways towards making a player more sympathetic to them.

It’s not bad at all but there are better options out there.

I’m really on the fence when it comes to giving this game a bad review. Here’s some points that stood out that led me to my negative review.

Pro’s:

-The writing is pretty decent.

-Characters react in a realistic way to what you choose to answer.

-The character models are good, although with only 5 people ever depicted in game, that’s to be expected.

-The world and characters are actually flashed out a bit, which is rare for such a cheap and short game.

Nirvana Pilot Yume

Nirvana Pilot Yume

I love the concept for this game - visual novel + SkyRoads (which was an amazing DOS game where you piloted a little space car hopping along interstellar highways) is such a good, fresh idea. Nirvana Pilot Yume also throws in a great synthwave soundtrack as well as an artistic style that reminds me of 80s anime and vaporwave music videos. The visual novel aspect of the game is really well written, and the dialogue is enjoyable and the sex scenes natural and non-cringy.

The racing sections are a little rough at the moment - I think my biggest problem is that the tracks are REALLY hard, or at least the difficult bumps up dramatically after the first track, which is dirt easy. It’s quite hard to see what exactly is coming your way, because the vantage point is directly at the horizon whereas in SkyRoads, you had somewhat more of an overhead view, and thus more time to react and move your ship around obstacles. In Nirvana Pilot Yume, I feel like there’s almost no time to react at all because stuff is coming at you so fast, and the collision detection is VERY sensitive. The brake option also doesn’t seem to do much at the moment but pull the camera in closer, and currently when I try slowing down in all tracks after the first one, the speed meter at the top doesn’t change. (Not sure if this is a bug or not.)

I recently received this game for free as a curator connect offer for my group Visual novel, JRPG, Anime. First of all, this visual novel is an adult eroge visual novel with a few NSFW CGs. For those who don’t mind adult visual novels, read on.

This romance visual novel with arcade racing and platforming segments by Dev9k features a male protagonist Mitur Aldaine. Mitur graduated from an Academy and became the greatest racer of Alba Proxima and an Eye in a futuristic world where territorial contests between different orbital stations are decided by races among spaceships.

I enjoyed this game,, Medium length of play time. mine was 25 hours. Could have been longer.

A nice Story and Very dependant on choice. What you say really does affect character interactions.

I was fairly quick into a relationship with Rana, Once you figure her out it’s fine.. But I never ended up with her at the end as she realised she was not the only one in my heart. The others are fairly slow to get through to though one is a surprise when it happens. One I missed out on because of wrong choice of words, shame that as it seems a good option. The final girl,, I like her and she is interesting. She gives up everything to stay with you at the end.. I was playing the Female character,, And I understand that Reactions are different to a Male Captain..

EARLY ACCESS REVIEW

a few spell checks here and there, and there’s quite a few images that needs to be filled in…

but this visual novel does have some promise and it looks entertaining enough to read.

it is early access after all so it’s too soon to hate it, plus i’m sure it’ll be a lot better once the

loose ends gets tied up and all the blanks gets filled in.

that, and is hoping for a uncensored patch, that’ll get everyone excited to play.

this was my last review almost two years ago, i copied and pasted it all so i can update and post my new review of what i think of starlight drifter now…..and i LOVE IT!!! ♥

I wouldn’t suspect games filled with fart jokes and smurf-level wordplay about milk to be that fun.

This game is really fun but don’t assume it’s an easy one! Actually, the very first level is already quite challenging!

It really feels that the guys developing it had some fun and share a good sense of humor. Also, for the price you can’t go wrong..

Enjoyed the game, graphics are fantastic, but had problems thru-out. For no reason it would start to rotate the player non stop. Had to exit game and restart. When I got to the point to gather the Polonium Fuel It wouldn’t open the last gate to gather the fuel container. After further play time I found my error. Also it would be nice if you added a list of game save points so you can return to a previous point in the game.

I started playing this game when it was in early access, it’s a great game! Thoroughly enjoying it every time i play it. I love the beautiful surroundings and the vibrant colours in game, the humour has also had me smiling as that is something i quite like in games. The controls of the game are simple also. I think the game is great fun and addictive :) I am grateful that i was given the opportunity to play, thank you! The only negative i have is that sometimes it can be a little laggy but it’s not a deal breaker.
