Dark Devotion
Short review: 9/10
Long review: This may get rambly, I don’t usually write reviews, but this game is awesome. I’m also gonna make a few comparisons to Souls games.
This game is incredible. It’s got nice style, it’s got good music, it has some pretty fun mechanics that make it feel like I could keep playing it for a very long time, even if I did beat it.
What’s good about this game?
Just about everything.
Combat and general gameplay mechanics.
It feels like it’s taken the best of the souls series, and compressed it into 2D. It feels incredible, responsive, and has some fun stuff you can change up for different builds. It has its own fairly unique leveling system, where you essentially keep your upgrades and XP when you die, but lose all of your gear. It allows you to choose from quite a few weapons straight from the start when you die, so it’s not like dying nets you losing everything you’ve picked up along the way. It just makes it so you start back with your basic load out. As you play through, enemies can, and usually will, drop weapons that are able to be picked up. Some people may not enjoy this, but it makes the game super fun in my opinion, as it forces variety in builds.

Awesome game, had a great time with it.
With its stamina-based combat, punishing difficulty and a bleak dark fantasy setting, Dark Devotion inevitably draws comparison to Dark Souls. Yet, players expecting simply a 2D version of the influential RPG will instead find a very different game that belongs more in the action category, with some platforming and rogue-like elements.

Every time you start the game or your character dies, you go back to the shelter having lost all of your possessions. You must then leave the shelter through one of several doors, each leading to a different area in the game world, and attempt to reach the next point of progress. Aside from one, these doors must be unlocked first by reaching their respective areas on foot.

Hollow Witch
This is what I call a precision platformer! Simple moves, run, jump and dash that added to all the crazy traps and flying stuff makes your mind count time to evade danger. I mean it is a puzzle platformer in a way. Loved the illumination, mood and the music gives the final touch. Strongly recommend!

ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights
Bought the game because of Mili, but it turns out that this is a well-polished Metroidvania. Great soundtrack and immersive atmosphere, good range of abilities to use making the game far from monotone, okay-ish lore and plot. The combat felt kinda clunky at first, but feels good once you get used to it. Another good point is that it is very easy to get 100% in this game.
My only complaint was that the final boss was a total pushover compared to some previous bosses
That said, the audio aspects are the charm, so I nominate this game for Best Soundtrack award.

Beautiful art style and music, with an environment fitting of the souls-like tag, and fun combat, ENDER LILIES is a wonderful experience I recommend to anyone who loves metroidvania or souls games. Moreover, It’s subtle and hidden story is both haunting and majestic.
Worth every penny.

dmc meets mgr meets dooms it has both hack and slash and shooters elements. I give it solid 6/7 out of 10. The combat is alright at times but slightly jank at times but hopefully when the game is fully released today the combat is more polished. Another bonus you can wear a school uniform.

Decay of Logos
Information / Review English
Decay of Logos is an Acion role-playing game developed by Amplify Creations.
Gameplay / Story
The story begins when Ada’s village is attacked and destroyed by suddenly appearing monsters, the young woman finds herself with no information about who or what is responsible for the attack, in unknown forests - only to be woken up by a mysterious moose. She quickly feels a strong connection to the elegant four-legged friend and so Ada starts the search for the origin of the disaster with the help of her new friend. Decay of Logos doesn’t reveal a lot of plot details and relies on you to want to learn more of the story on your own. Optional NPCs, self-speaking landscapes and side tasks provide information about the background of certain characters and slowly reveal important details about the overarching plot. However, if you are not interested in it and are now afraid to be permanently confused, if you do not complete any secondary quests, you can breathe a sigh of relief. The general plot makes sense until the end and hides interesting approaches only for people who are inquisitive to learn more.

A lot of this game’s reviews are from a bumpy launch period. It’s much better now, but there are still some issues here and there. I am convinced the reason more people didn’t complete the game and left negative reviews is that the first couple hours of the game don’t put its best foot forward; the opening area is fairly idyllic and visually unimpressive, while the second area includes some cave systems and tar pits which, while interesting, isn’t very fun to look at for multiple hours. The player is also immediately introduced to the elk mount, which turns based on the left stick; if you hold forward on the stick, you are still actually telling the elk to turn to the left or right depending on which side of the y-axis the stick rests. The result of this is a seemingly uncontrollable elk as it continues to try to turn back and forth; what you are supposed to do is accelerate with the kick button and use the left stick for turning and braking only, which is counterintuitive and leaves a bad taste in a lot of people’s mouths. Exacerbating this is that the first two bosses are similar in appearance/concept. There is an in-game reason for this which is shown in the environment but it isn’t very exciting; they do at least have different movesets but my strategy was mostly the same for both. This is made worse by the player not having access to equipment repairs or reliable access to a camp for resting until they reach the hub area, which is shortly after the third boss. If you make it that far, the game’s enemy variety, bosses, gear and environments all improve dramatically after that point; it should take about 3-5 hours

Gangsta Woman
As the speedrun world record holder of Gangsta Woman with a time of 7:52 (only displayed as 7:58 on speedrun.com), I can safely say it is the second best game I’ve ever speedran.

This is a SERIOUS review.
PROS:
-good graphics for the player character.
-fair graphics for the world
CONS:
-controls took a lot to get used to. Standard WASD & Space for Roll but no real jump ability which poses an issue later in levels 4 and 5 specifically as you would encounter fences you would like to jump over.
-map layout is bland. most are just rectangles with assets in between. Lots of invisible barriers.
-MOST IMPORTANTLY there is NO gameplay. You get the achievements not by killing the hordes or the dragon but by smashing the bottle that is ALWAYS behind the dragon.

Sunrise Tragedy
Story
After the onset of the Goliaths, humans and vampires take refuge inside an old, abandoned cathedral, where they attempt to live in harmony. The cathedral, once used as a monastery by a long-dead civilization, is not quite as safe as foolishly dreamt.
Gameplay
Sunrise Tragedy is an Action-RPG featuring fast-paced, stamina-based combat. Explore a vast cathedral with interconnected areas full of terrifying monsters. Unlock new abilities, called Vampiric Powers, which can aid you in combat and in exploration.
Engage in brutal combat with powerful foes. Dodge the enemy’s attacks with invincibility frames and make your own attacks when the timing is right. Use different moves depending on the situation to either stun the enemy by depleting their stamina, or go in for the kill by depleting their health.
Level up your stats in whichever way you desire. Use a wide variety of weapons, costumes, accessories, and spells to customize your own way of playing.
Interact with various NPCs to gain upgrades and buy from their shops. Form bonds with them to gain items and hear their philosophies amid the impending apocalypse.
This game also features an elaborate alchemy system, allowing you to brew potions that fit your build. You get a set amount of potions per spawn, and you decide the effects of the potion by choosing the ingredients. For example, a magic build may want to trade some health regeneration for MP regeneration, or in some areas you may want to include a cure for poison.
