Aesoteric Collection
9 Æsoteric games, the result of many experimental worlds brought to conclusion at last.
Each of these belong in a common oniric universe, where you’re confronted with a diverse array of A.R.G. consoles, each having a uniquely different game in its system but sharing a common dark origin.
The Æsoteric Collection
EGREGORE / ZYX
tmOD / Vlast
Oneiroi / tmPaint
Apex Byte Reeling / Wrecc
Noahs Ark Demake
The experiences contained within this collection are calling. It is a mystery if they even grew to exist as a published format, cursed as they are, belonging somewhere between the discarded and the dreamt. Some originally forgotten demos, others accidents of evil destiny and spiteful development, even the consoles in which they belong are not a thing of public knowledge…
Until now.

Silent dream
So the plot seems interesting but the translation is giving me a hard time to understand what’s going on exactly because it get a bit confusing at some points. Also usually in horror games when you want to hide inside the closet, it let you hide till the monster/ creature or whatever is following you go away but in this game, hiding in the close is pretty useless, so don’t bother doing it because it’s a big fat fail. Also, it seems you have to do stuff in a certain order (which you’ll have to figure out on your own), or else you’ll get stuck and die till you do the part correctly.

What a wonderful Christian game for children because it promotes values such as love, friendship and compassion. The nice little angel flying around truly warms my heart!
Will update this review once I’m done hiding in my closet.
Edit: No, I’m not done hiding in my closet.

Women of Xal
This game has so many layers to it… the plot twists… the stakes riding on your decisions! I am in awe. I went through so many ““bad”” endings to get to the ‘true’ good ending but having to work for that ending made it so much more satisfying. Not to mention that the ““bad”” endings still had brilliant content, and I enjoyed playing each time as there are so many different decisions to make. And so many people to woo…. heart eyes

Feminist brain: This is an excellent use of the visual novel format with amazingly complex worldbuilding, distinctive characters who are easy to love (or hate, as the case may be), and while the dream-dropping doesn’t seem to be integrated into the game so far it’s an interesting concept I’d like to see. All in all, I’m very much looking forward to the finished product.

Detailed review:
This is based on my own opinions.
I will try not talk about the events and details of the story in my review. I think the less you know about it before you start, the more enjoyable it’ll be!

8. Summary
1. Value for money
For the price I payed, I have definitely got my money worth from this game. I have 40+ hours and enjoyed most of the game. I personally think anything below $2 that provides 40+ hours of fun is worth it, for sure!

The game was nostalgic for me. The sounds of the computer, keyboard, floppy disk are sensational and the fact that the game doesn’t have music gives you a very good immersion. The story holds your attention and you want to know all the endings. I loved this game, waiting for the second one already! :D
