My childhood all over again.

130+ hours on this, love it.

It has a learning curve, but would love to see a 2019 version of this (I know it wont happen)

But working your way up, you can play a season pretty quick and control every aspect.

Very similar to those who have played USM

eFootball™ 2022

I can’t recommend it at this state

PES turns into Efootball and joins the style of a Live service game, where updates can happen more frequently over seasons & years.

A quick pro’s and con list after 4 hours of play.

PRO’s

  • The idea of the new dribbling

  • The concept of the new defending mechanics

  • Instant play from ball boys without cutting away

  • Some Quality of life changes (Like Condition arrow stat updates shown in game plan)

  • Some ‘‘immersive’’ clean extra (pre match) cutscenes

Ok. i will leave a Honest review on This. First of all sorry for my bad english, is not my primary leangue. This game is Worst then i originaly thoutgh. First of all you will notice an extreme LAG. secound of all i have not found many elementary settings like changing the control combo presets. They said that this is with a new engine and from the ground up. It is litaraly worse then pes 2017 and FIFA mhm let’s say 2005. This is not “the ultimate e-football experience” by far! Now i want you to know that this is a day one review so a lot can change but the simple fact that u have 20 fps is absurd. IT IS very blury and pixelated. probabaly wont buy any DLC or career mode for this.. is litaraly unacceptable. Konami shoud sell they liciences and go make a flash game. Please just don’t expect much from this. if they dont fix the absolut lag and bad looking graphics.. i mean dude the PITCH looks like its litaraly drawn on paint on windows 98. If they don’t fix this game witch is pathetic pes is oficialy dead!

Football Academy Clicker

This game gave me the feeling of a complete football player upgrading and training game. In addition, you can easily see which features you need to improve in which position your player. The matches are never boring and you don’t struggle with tactics, it all depends on the skill of your players. A clicker game where you can spend long hours and make you want to play more with each upgrade you get.

Kungfu Football Captain

Kungfu Football Captain

《Kungfu Football Captain》It’s a fighting football game. You will incarnate as a football player. In the high-intensity football match full of stratagem, violence and chaos, build a strong team to win the game, attract fans and win the championship. You can recruit and train players, hold meetings, plan team development, use tactics or coaching skills in the game. Of course, you can use violence to win the game when necessary. I hope you can avoid the referee’s eyes.

The game includes the referee system, climbing tower playing method, conference system, closer to the actual operation of football, coach skills, talent, tactical settings and other systems.

New Star Manager

New Star Manager

This is a pretty mild recommendation. It’s a fun game, often. It suffers from a ton of flaws, no doubt due to its target platform of mobile, an industry which is notorious for sloppy and shoddy development, especially in games. In-match controls are tricky and very easy to screw up. Physics is sometimes awkward and nonsensical at moments – esp. when it matters. Team management is a little unrealistic as you are constantly badgered by third-string or second-string players who demand play time – and will play like crap if you don’t give to them, which means you have to constantly rotate good and bad players, weakening your potential XI, just to prevent them from being completely useless. (Imagine if any real teams had to deal with that amount of whining! Football would be out of business!) Rules aren’t always quite right. Your ability for effective team management and growth is largely based on getting bonuses from chance non-match outcomes. You get pittance of money from sponsors and fans (and nothing from investors, who carp and harumph whenever you ask them for money) while you have to raise hundreds of thousands for quality services – not to mention getting AND keeping quality players. Oddly enough, the value you get from sponsors and fans etc. doesn’t change at all from league to league (which are fixed in time from 2017), which is pretty hard to believe – you can’t tell me USL rakes in the same cash as MLS, or EFL1 rakes in the same cash as EPL.

This game is an underrated gem, period.

But before I rave about the actual game, let me tell you a thing about their customer support.

So I purchased New Star Manager one day, installed it and couldn’t run it. Did all the usual steps to troubleshoot, no luck.

Finally, I left a message in the Steam forums stating my problem.

The next day, the publisher got back to me, asking me to perform the usual troubleshooting steps again. No surprise, it didn’t help.

Then I was given a beta code to install a version that writes a logfile so the devs could figure out what was wrong - and something was very wrong because that logfile wasn’t even created.

update 28/07: dev kicked me from his discrod server for giving him a bad review…I wouldn’t recommend to buy this game anymore.

If you are interested in an oldschool soccer manager, this could your game. But…

There is still some devleopment, but mostly balance.

There is no more development on the technical side. The dev states that there will be a new game, which will have also some technical improvements.

So my advise is: wait for the second part

Since I Have over 100 or so games purchased on STEAM, I feel qualified to give an accurate analysis on any game I have purchased ! This developer has made one of the BEST SOCCER game I could ever buy !!!! I cannot believe that someone could even think that This Is not worth $5 I am a 76 yr old guy who been around and have purchased so many games in my life that I know have been not worth it at all ! Saying that this game is not worth the price is an insult to the inventor of this game. I hope that he will ignore the complaints, because he has a GREAT GAME that a lot of people will find out ! I do not know the inventor of this game, so this is not a fanboy response !!! As to my age, I would like to throw out a challenge to anyone on this forum to tell me who ALF was !!! He was a character on TV in the 70s !!!

Premier Manager 10

Premier Manager 10

I became disillusioned with real life football during this covid pandemic, so I purchased PM 10 to remind myself of better times. These are my findings on PM 10.

Loved the fact that players have a limited number of attributes to judge them by, when buying a player you won’t know their team abilities until after you have paid.

Simplicity of team tactics and formations from which to choose, again I enjoyed this.

I played in all the English divisions and found that 352, direct, attacking, zonal marking was the best. By watching the game at slow speeds you get a fair idea of what might need changing, 352 defensive counter attack can be employed with the same personnel as long as your wingers have reasonable marking and tackling abilities.

If you already have job, this is a fun game that gives you an overall sense of what it might be like to manage your club without affecting the rest of your real life…enough realism and simple to navigate.

Street Power Football

Street Power Football

A few things here. First, it’s nice to see a Street Sport game again. It feels like it’s been too long since we’ve seen a solid attempt at bringing this kind of fast action, arcade style sports title back. Second, as much as I did enjoy my time with this, how are there so many oversights and it still sells at a whopping $50? Anyone who grew up playing the original Street series knows that playing with controller is the way to go. And yes, the game supports controller. But no, it doesn’t give controller button mapping in it’s interface and tutorials. This huge road block might be enough to discourage new players from sticking around. Figuring out the controller scheme on the fly is NOT fun. Especially when you consider all the game mechanics at play here. Tricks, shooting, passing, Panna (which is humiliating your opponent in a rhythm-based minigame) are all extra challenging when you’re programming your brain to press a certain button aligned with the onscreen key prompt.

Real player with 2.4 hrs in game

Street Power Football has a lot of ups and downs. The different game modes are fun. The music and art style are great. However there are a lot times where i feel like the game doesn’t live up to the price it sets. Animations can be tough at times and there are some jarring visuals with the Green screen presentation of Sean Garnier.

There is a lot of fun though to be had, but i would say be cautious. You may not find exactly what you’re looking for here.
