Spin the World

When I began playing Spin the World, my hopes for having a really great experience were high. Unfortunately, after investing a little time in the game, I can say that I did not enjoy the experience. This title, in its current state, feel a lot to me like an alpha stage game, with some potential, but a ton of extra work to be done.
Firstly, the gameplay is on the forefront of what this title is about. You jump into the game with control of a mystery character, with a mystery purpose but they are holding a gun. Great! As you would, you proceed forward and start shooting things. This is when the game really goes down unfortunately. As I progressed, I kept running into a reoccurring bug where the enemies kept getting stuck in the walls. This problem does not have much effect on the game due to there being no loot, score or any real reason to kill something besides it is in your way. What this does for me, however, is makes any success feel empty due to getting by only because I didn’t have to fight for it. Unsatisfying…

I bought this for 0.89 cent on sale but I still refunded.
There are flash games that were better than this. Not only does the game have no story at all but even the combat is just one hit death to everything while enemies walk back and forth in a straigth line. And jumping is floaty af.
Buggy it is too (of course). Just try walking left out of the room and see yourself fall outside the play area, which is telltale sign of asset flip that was cobbled together in a weekend.
Yeah, I’m sure people will gladly pay 10€ for a game that doesn’t even the pretend of a story.

The Last Sniper VR
i was surprised to see that the reviews for this game are mixed. I scrolled down the list of negative reviews intensively. i will list the main reasons i found among the negative reviews, and my opinion on them.
-
Too short and not replayable
-
You are forced to play as an axis soldier in a bunker on omaha beach.
-
the controls are buggy and not realistic. (one hand holding a sniper, scope not giving a clear view etc.)
too short and not replayable?
I personally think that the game is perfectly suited for replay. I have done most missions several times. starting from low difficulty to high, also there are two arcade scenarios in which the enemies won’t stop coming until you eventually die. I have played the storyline several times over the 1,5 years i own this game, it keeps the fun it has in it. I agree that five missions is not sufficient. But sadly, most VR games are not very long. LA noire for example costs around 30 USD with 7 missions, 3 of which are tutorials. Which leaves us with 7,5 USD per mission. Thats almost the cost of this game..

For 12 bucks, this ride was pretty cool. Yes it’s light in the pants… most of these things are as developers are chucking together whatever they can with whatever SDK templates they use in order to capitalize from sales.
However, this very succinct title is the first time I felt in awe of war while playing a game about it. Sure it’s not the most detailed of games or the most deep, but when you are in a broken building, looking down over a German occupied street, and you see the automaton severly basic UI, you think meh… but when it adds in the other touches such as the planes flying over top and bombing the area you are in, it gives you the opportunity to at least experience a glimpse of the 3D experience war might give.

Sniper Elite 3
Sniper Elite 3: Afrika is one of my favorite games, and one of the best sniper games ever made. The main strength of SE3 is the sniper killcam but goes way beyond that (like shooting Hitler in the nuts). The graphics and soundtrack are incredible and immersive, and sometimes you just have to take a moment to appreciate the beauty of your surroundings. Hell, just to have a bright sun in a WWII game instead of the old dark and gloomy European setting cliché is already a great thing. The protagonist is a reminiscent of those old WWII action comics and he really resembles Rick O’Connell from The Mummy (which explains The Strange Brigade, but I digress) and the story is straight to the point.

I’m right on the Recommend/Not Recommend border with “Sniper Elite 3.” It’s possible that since I came back to it from Sniper Elite 4 (which I loved), I’m noticing the problems with it more than I would if I had just continued the series from Sniper Elite V2 (which I also loved). I’ll start with the positive, though: the graphics are really good, the voice acting is excellent, and the production values are good, too. It took me about 40 hours to complete the campaign on Sniper Elite difficulty with all objectives (and optional objectives) met and all Collectibles found. It then took me about another 20 hours to get the rest of the Achievements for the base game. So, even at the current list price of about $30, the dollar per hour ratio is good. Of course, getting it on sale would be much better.

Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 2
Well. Where to begin?
Ah yes.
Jesus Christ.
How this game isn’t branded as ‘Sniper Elite: 5000 for the Achievement’ is beyond me. You want zombies? This game gives you zombies: thousands of zombies. And I’m not talking Left 4 Dead’s hordes that cack-handedly slap you in the face in the hopes of making you feel bad, every single one of the shambling fascists is more than capable of dishing out a bucketload of damage before you’re able to shoot or kick them away. And yes, this version of Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army comes with the ability to KICK. Thank God! A marked improvement over those awkward ‘Oh God, it’s right in front of me and slapping me with a torch, blindly noscope, blindly noscope!’ moments from the previous instalments. I say instalment_s_, since if an enemy was right in front of you in SE:V2, it turned into a frantic mess of you flipping your SMG out and randomly spraying.

EDIT: Boring and Trilogy replaces it.
Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 2 is a direct sequel to NZA which was a spinoff of Sniper Elite V2. So direct that it’s pretty much same gameplay but on different levels. Came out at the end of 2013, after Rebellion suddenly found out that NZA was a hit. Shoot more zombies from the third person view shooter!
Multiplayer community is kinda there. Most likely you will find no games when you launch coop, which would start your own lobby. And then, only a few minutes later it will fill in fully. So yea, wacky like that.

Sniper Elite VR
Sniper Elite VR is a thrilling and truly tense stealth-action game. Physically keeping your aim steady while ghost sniping a base full of guards or leaning to hear an officer’s footsteps while you clutch a suppressed pistol are why a game like this should be played in VR. It could be a bit more polished and the beginning maps feel cramped but the sneaking and shooting in the later stealth missions provide a very impressive experience.
After a few exciting but constraining opening missions the game starts giving the player some leeway in calmer environments. Subtle play styles become viable and encouraged so the action is often more player-initiated than forced. Shadowy hiding spots to crouch in can be found during night missions and patient scouting frequently pays off. One of the larger missions is essentially a ‘Hitman’ contract with a target that can be approached from several different directions in a rural area. How you ultimately take him out and from where is your choice. ‘Seeking Vengeance’, one of my favorites, has you moving over and under enemies, ducking into tunnels, blowing up vehicles, and quietly eliminating high ranking officers as you infiltrate a beach fortress. The best maps are sniping playgrounds that you’ll return to just to try different loadouts and strategies.

I play in my 2 car garage with my wireless vive pro and use my play space to the fullest. I prefer to walk in my play space corner to corner and use Manual Redirected walking with space turn via OVR Advanced Settings. Sniper Elite VR lets me play this way and I am very thankful for that. A lot of the maps are huge so I will walk in my play space and use joystick locomotion at the same time when I have to cross a lot of ground.
My biggest complaint about Sniper Elite VR is I am always getting black screen saying out of bounds, return to center of playspace If I barely go somewhere I am not suppose to, like over in game furniture, big rocks, tree trunks, some dead bodies, and even certain slants in the terrain. I also get this black screen sometimes when I’m not near any geometry but just on a flat open space. It also goes black a lot when I’m just trying to duck in real life, probably because the fat collision box is colliding with near by cover.

Hunting Simulator 2
Actually I’ve fallen in love with this game despite what most people say about it. At first I was sceptical about it and decided to try “trial version” (if you know what I mean ;)) but I liked it so much so I decided to buy it to support the developers. These guys did an incredible job of turning the weird and unplayable first HS into a decent game that just needs some polishing.
Everyone compares it to tCotW but to me tCotW loses in most points. Let’s see:
- You can only carry two big guns unlike in tCotW where you can run around armed to the teeth like the Doom Guy and you don’t even get exhausted. Here you get exhausted after sprinting with a full backpack and your guns.

Hunting Simulator 2 Full Review
As with most of my reviews, the TL;DR and final verdict will be at the bottom.
It is a bit strange for someone who loves animals, to go ahead and buy a game where you shoot animals, but I found a unique sense of peace wandering through the forest tracking animals, the water in the distance, the wind howling through the trees and a bird in the distance collectively brought the forest to life. I come from a family of hunters, but I myself never found joy in taking the life of an animal for sport, or tradition. But I enjoyed the wilderness, tracking an animal only to feel the joy of eventually having your patience pay off. So I decided I would get a hunting sim, but which one would fit the bill?

Sniper: Ghost Warrior
I don’t usually hate games, but man, I tried REALLY HARD to like this game, but the game just manages to piss me off in a lot of ways.
I know this is an old game, but it’s so full of clunkiness and jank, even for the time of its release. Thankfully the sequels are much better and they learned their lessons from this game.
POSITIVE
[+] The sniping feels pretty good actually. The bullet cam somehow looks better than Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, and to a very limited extent, better than Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3.

One of the few sniper-biz-themed FP-shooters up to the moment. At least, conceptually. In reality, it’s just the same as the most of other mediocre shooters of the time, with somewhat good visuals, stupid and way-too-pathetic story, ill-calculated scripts and AI. And way too much “spray-and-pray” for the sniper game. Even the levels where you start in stealth, do some (few) precise shots and supposed to get away quickly… there always be some “twist”, leaving you with .50 cal machinegun or AK/M4 in your hands.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2
I would give this game something between a thumbs up and a thumbs down because I do like some aspects of the game. However, they force me to make a black & white choice and I choose “No Way”. The graphics are pretty good, the basic gameplay is OK but there are a lot of issues:
1. There are places on the maps you can get stuck and not be able to get out of AND you cannot kill yourself to continue playing the game! You have to leave the game altogether and rejoin (if you can).
2. There is no way to kick or ban a player on your own server DURING the game …you have to wait for the game to be over! This is the ONLY thing you can do to protect yourself and it isn’t even in-the-moment or real-time!

Alright, I’m here to answer some questions you may thinking to yourself.
Is it worth buying it?
Is this game fun?
Beaware of some of it might be spoiler alert.
Personally so far I think this is the best game CI Games have produced. As a sniper-enthusiast I look for pros and cons with this game. I have already in advance completed this game on the Xbox 360 a long time ago, and to be honest I felt more connected into the game, and more sort a say “Alive” on the PC version. Here are some reasons why.
