Gunlok
Gunlok is one of those very underrated and obscure games that most people have never heard of. I was in 2nd standard in primary school when the game was released; I was in 9th standard when I first played it, and today I am a banker in my late twenties. I personally loved this game and it is good to see that the developers are having another go at it. I hope more people play the game and get to experience the fun.
What I liked compared to the original 2000 version:
-If enemies are behind walls or on higher ground, it will show “Target obscured” instead of having your characters shoot away at them.

I played this originally a long, long time ago, but back then I didn’t get very far into the game. The graphics are so so, there’s a bunch of issues with the mini map, AI is dumb, and it crashed a couple of times, but it has this old school kind of vibe that can be very captivating. Easy to get into, not too many mechanics, but can be a bit challenging and lets you figure out things on your own. I wouldn’t call it a hidden gem, but I find it fun and something a bit different.

Operation Thunderstorm
Like Royal Marines Commando this an entertaining if fairly short (4 hours), budget FPS game.
Even at full price I’d say it is worth it and if you can get it on sale for a quid it’s a bargain.
The story is pretty good if basic you are tasked with hunting down 3 prominent members of the German high command in World War 2.
The engine is the same as F.E.A.R and so you get some nice blood effects and some nice responsive shooting. The enemies do lack that games AI but they can still surprise, leaping barriers and pressing the attack. The environments have never been that engines strength but the levels are varied in location and scenery.

A game based on the FEAR engine! Which then proceeds to change everything that made F.E.A.R. a great game. This WWII FPS is competent but lacking on almost all fronts. It’s certainly playable and maybe worth it, if oug et it on sale for say fifty cents. Here are a few salient points.
STORY: You’re a soldier sent on three disjointed missions to assassinate three top Nazi officials: Josf Goebbels, Heinrich Himmler, and Hermann Goering There’s very little plot development beyond that, with a few basic cutscenes and a text-only ending sequence. Dialogue is cut-rate taunts and macho one-liners that are seldom that funny or original. No in-depth narratire or world-building.

Onimusha: Warlords
Onimusha: Warlords is a great but flawed remastered classic game. But let’s talk about the story.
Japan doring the Sengoku period, it has been one year since Nobunaga was fatally wounded and assumed dead.
Samanosuke a strong worrier who watched the battle soon gets a letter from his childhood friend Princess Yuki, who says that monsters have appeared and are taking her people.
So with his friend Kaede’s help they soon go to the castle, but what awaits them is more horrifying then anything they have faced and more powerful than any human they fought.

[NINJA GAIDEN: Master Collection] NINJA GAIDEN 3: Razor’s Edge
From what I’ve heard, Ninja Gaiden 3 had it rough. There were lots of issues with the game but thankfully, Razor’s Edge came to the rescue and brought Ninja Gaiden’s glory back… with differences. The biggest difference we have in Razor’s Edge is the combat. It doesn’t have the essence combo system anymore, now it has Steel on Bone. I personally have mixed feelings about this change. I mean, it’s very good that it forces you to be creative since the AI is way better meaning you can’t just spam Izuna Drop non-stop. However, essences are gone and that means you can’t instantly charge up your ultimate technique and unleash it on enemies. There is an alternative way to charge it up instantly and it is through Steel on Bone. You can perform a SoB attack by attacking enemies while they are attempting to grab you and chain them up to 4 enemies if your weapon is at max level. If you do this a couple of times, you’ll go into Bloody Rage mode and that will allow you to charge up your UT instantly.

Don’t buy this bundle..mainly just because of Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor’s Edge alone.
The whole bundle and the only one that worth playing is Ninja Gaiden 2
Ninja Gaiden 1 is bad BUT Gaiden 3 alone , i give it rating -20 out of 100.
-Almost all Enemies has infinite movements and auto input reading
-They gave you the worst lock-on system
-Camera won’t stop turning around itself and poor program that actually punish you for jumping the wrong directions
-The solution for defeating certain enemies are too precise…and only 1 or 2 different ways of defeating them

Ashes of Oahu
This game looks like a Far Cry knockoff at first, but it’s not. It’s an open-world game based around tons of unique content that doesn’t hold your hand. There isn’t any climbing towers or “interact with thing to tell you where everything is.” You wanna find all the quests and abilities? Better start searching. And the map is big too. At about 25km squared, there’s a lot of places to go and a lot to do. There are four factions, each that grant their own skills and storylines. A decent amount of stuff still hasn’t been put in place, but there’s a ton to do. I’m well over 20 hours in at this point and have a ton left to find. Pretty great for a game made by a team of five.

First impression at 1.7 hours: For those who like this sort of thing, this is the sort of thing they like. And I like it a lot.
As a post at RPG Codex said, it’s Hawaiian ELEX. (Except instead of Eurojank it’s Amerijank.)
I hope to update the Pro and Con lists over the long weekend.
Update (7.6 hours): Now I can call horses and I have good mods on some of my weapons. I’m starting to feel more competent with the controls. The game is still a lot of fun – actually more fun, now that I’ve learned more of the game’s ways of doing things – and riding is definitely the way to travel. I’m terrible at stealth takedowns, but my improved firearms are good enough to get me out of a tight spot. I’ve still explored only a small portion of the map. Haven’t found many bugs so far.

Bot War
Played a couple rounds, it’s a fun game, maybe a bit pricey for where it’s at right now. I’d love to see it refined, be able to be less laggy perhaps become available in multiplayer (3 players 3 teams or 3 players on a team even). I’m not a game designer and have no idea how, but some ideas I would offer is being able to pick spawn points, spawn in different places around the points (so players don’t get killed immediately from enemies firing at other teammates respawning) and perhaps a bit of delay when teams switch so players don’t get killed immediately.

Hello! This game is actually a hell of a lot of fun. I just wish the controls werent strange and the guns actually looked like guns. The Physics could also use some help but, not at all a bag game! i love it

Down to Hell
So this game is a side scrolling combat-platformer, in the same vein as Castlevania, the main difference between the two is this game has a progression system which unlocks additional abilities, weapons and magic for the player. If you’re like me you’ve seen a lot of games like this come and go on steam, but I feel like this game has something special, definitely worth the $10.
This game is HARD, there are no difficulty options for you to select and the game does not hold your hand at all. Which is a good thing in my opinion. The combat system feels pretty responsive and satisfying. The artwork is awesome.

Down to Hell:
A nameless knight filled with hatred is fighting a horde of monsters in the terrifying forest of death. As the monsters are attacking him from every angle, the nameless one knows that his last stand is coming to an end. Suddenly, a bright light appears out of nowhere and scares the monsters away. He stands up with the help of his sword, looks straight into the light and sees a girl in the middle. Within seconds after realising that the girl was his saviour, the forest floor started shaking and trees were ripped out of the ground one by one, until a hellish creature grabs the girl and disappears deep into the forest. The nameless one had to rescue his saviour; it’s time to go down to hell!

## Last Day of FEAR
For a cheap game, it is good. Could be better, but it'll do. Some of the jumpscares got me and some of the visuals are twisted. There are lots of cheesy parts and the passwords are laying around right by the door. The monster chasing part was very difficult for me. Also, sometimes the game would recognize my controller, other times it wouldn't even register.

This was actually a pretty decent indie horror game. The one part was kinda rough, but other than that it was fun and pretty easy.

## Pandemic Violence
Pandemic Violence is an exaggerated take on the world dealing with a deadly pandemic virus. Play through 10 levels at critical points during the pandemic spanning hundreds of years. As the title says, violence is the central point during this pandemic, so expect to get your hands dirty. Beat down citizens taken their gold, kill your neighbors for a roll of toilet paper, and plenty more scenarios like that.
*Third Person Melee & Ranged Combat
*Each level focused on a different person & goal
