Cat-o-Combo!
Enter the Catacombs!
Funny cat Plexy with his own paws many a time dug up a treasure tray before becoming famous as one of the most legendary tomb raiders of modern times. That is why Professor Kotenhauer turned to him as he found the location of the Abandoned City. And that means it’s time to go on a trip! In the archaeological society there is a purr that countless treasures are kept inside the walls of the abandoned temples. And in the very heart there is the mystical All-Stone with the begging of the Catapocalypse foretold.
Features:
Collect all the treasures - take the challenge of the Abandoned City and put your paws on all the wealth in his fifty tombs. Each catacomb is more complicated than the previous one, and the further you go, the more tricky riddles will be and the more dangers you will face.
Watch your tail! - Kotzelcoatal, ruler of the Abandoned City, was known as a cruel tyrant. According to legends, he never gave his subjects those cat love bites! Uneducated curs believe that the All-Stone magical paw-er gave its owner nine lives! But do not believe these fairy tales for blind kittens! Every decent cat has only one life.
Simple mechanics - extremely simple game mechanics will not let you get lost in control. Forget about jumping, rolling or cat-ching. There is nothing like that – just go and play!
Do it in style - just collecting the treasures left by someone is boring! Do it in style! Combine the crystals according to their colour, do not waste your time and find yourself at the top of the leaderboard!
Pixel Van Cat - catacombs never been so colourful and cute! Purrrfect pixel art immerses you in an atmosphere of not-actually-so-creepy ancient civilizations. Each ear, whisker and tail is made with endless love for kitties.
Touch the classics - a game inspired by the immortal Boulder Dash and Supaplex takes a new form. Experienced players will appreciate the long-forgotten gameplay, and beginners will have an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the classics. Hello from the 90s!

In Airlock Arena, you are responsible for procuring, protecting, transporting, and ultimately delivering precious cargo to the far reaches of space. Avoid the Authorities, look for opportunities, and ultimately make a profit while bringing much needed supplies to colonies cut off by the ravages of galactic civil war. The chance to make a fortune is real, but the odds of dying are even higher. This is no game for the weak.
Game Features

Highly strategic 2-D action “rogue-like-like” gameplay on spaceships and planets for endless hours of replayability.
-
Simulated vacuum physics! Smugglers quickly learn that air can be their best friend or their worst enemy.

Unexpected cargo. Space is full of all kinds of trash and treasures. Sometimes the best cargo is what you find along the way! Take a perilous spacewalk and see if you can’t reel some of it in!
-
Biomatter absorbing respawn platforms. Get the lifeless corpse of one of your friends back to a respawn platform, and see them spring back to life, ready to die once more!

Broken Lines
It is an “ok” game if you have no better alternatives. The reason I gave a thumb down is because of so many super positive reviews with which I disagree and think they distort the picture here.
TACTICS / GAMEPLAY - 3/5
The challenge curve is rather flat, mostly without any complex or demanding situations. Maps are all very similar in terms of combat challenges (very similar setups of obstacles, terrain, challenges etc).
One of the top reviewers here complained about pulling extra pods in Xcom due to bad mechanics - IT IS THE SAME HERE! Once you spot 1 enemy then the time does not stop when you discover more enemies. So you end up pulling more and more enemies and your soldiers once told to go somewhere, will never abort the order even if going straight into the enemy guns.

I would recommend Broken Lines for those seeking a simpler, yet more raw/ intense tactics gaming experience than XCom. If you’re just a fan of third person tactic games and want to try something with a neat tactical twist, Broken Lines is a great purchase.
Differences from your average squad based tactics game:
-
Biggest difference is the 8 second command increments. You provide your soldiers a series of orders to execute in sequence, then let time flow and see how they worked out.
-
Set characters means being able to bake in things like how your soldiers work together or interact based on your back story.

Lost Sea
Lost Sea is a cool little exploration, action game featuring rogue-like mechanics such as permadeath and procedural generation.
Journeying from one island to the next you explore through mutliple regions, encounter differnt enemies and collect items, tablets, crew members, gold and experience to help you progress to further reaches of the game. Rogue-like lovers or players who enjoy exploration and strategy will find a lot to like in this title but it is far from a perfect experience.

A good little roguelike hack and slash. The graphics are cool and colorist, but even though there isn’t much diversity of elements to see, demand excesive hardware or the screen can freezes causing the deletion of the save file if program is closed by force. Also have another issue, the Keyboard only can be binded by editing a file (check Steam forums).
Very simple mechanics: by getting experience and gold coins, player can unblocks skills, space for inventory and crew that works as powerups. Combat is easy but it getting hard by stages, is based on the fact that player haven´t a ranged weapon to use at will and many foes has ranged attacks.

Obsolete
~FUN INTENSIFIES~
An enjoyable game, I really appreciate my run! Considering it’s the developer’s first game, I must say I’m really impressed. You can feel it was made with a lot of passion and a lot of reflexion to make it nice. There are a lot of secrets so don’t rush it and take your time to discover everything!
The world is truly immersive, I was really touched by the story and I liked discovering it all along the levels. The MC is incredibly LOVELY (he’s so cuuuute when he walks!! Even when he dies. Which sadly happens often with my pitiful skills).

Simple but enjoyable atmospheric platformer. Well constructed and fun to play through - can be completed quick if you’re good, but the puzzles are fun enough to keep you engaged.

Good afternoon, so I decided to write a review about the Ascent game. The game is very interesting, very well suited for relaxation. 2D arcade platformer, with low system requirements. Nice graphics and music for this genre of games. I hope the game will only develop. I recommend it.

Burned Land
Burned Land is a niche game, and a little gem to me.
At first sight it might seem a little bit empty and obscure. Then it will seem very hard, even unfair. But if you push forward, you will discover a game with a very original approach, very rich and permissive in the ways you want to shape your kingdom and face the gods.
In this game, you not only build units and facilities, you will also “monitor” your population (literacy, devotion, nobility, sedentary, etc.), so they will provide you what you need and when you need it.
– Real player with 31.9 hrs in game
It is a pretty rough game, both in terms of UI and difficulty. The UI will hopefully get some polish from this one-man dev team, and perhaps the difficulty as well, but the difficulty certainly needs the polish a lot less. The dev is still pushing out regular updates, thus my recommendation for this Early Access game.
I made it to Turn 194, after narrowly dodging a very early game defeat. The early game near-defeat came about as my village almost starved due to a famine brought on by the gods. The entire point of this game is that the larger you grow, the more interest the gods have in stopping you from growing.

Don’t Give Up: Not Ready to Die
“Don’t Give Up” has relatively simple mechanics, but they work very well within the game context.
The game raises existential and philosophical questions that make you ponder but without being too pretentious.
Even with a high challenge level, the game keeps you engaged and makes you want to go forward to see what happens next. Recommended!
– Real player with 6.8 hrs in game
This is an adorable game with a lot of bugs. I would recommend it to others under the guidance of prepare for things to suddenly not work for inexplicably no reason. I honestly love the story enjoyed the visuals and find the concept engaging.
But if you dislike mechanics blowing up be warned. At one point one of my inventory squares was inaccessible meaning that 10 mins into the game I could not craft items that required all the inventory squares. But I am a determined person and taking the name of the game as an instruction “I did not give up” and decided to push through playing until I had 10 mins left on the clock.
