Jane’s Advanced Strike Fighters
This game is just doing well enough for me to stick with it together with my friends, going through co-op campaign.
Pros:
-
Well-done aircraft models
-
Co-op campaign (sadly, most of games today lacks this feature)
-
30 different planes to fly around including F-22, F-35C, PAK FA, my favorite Eurofighter Typhoon and a fictional SR-77
-
Big maps (it’s really big)
-
Somewhat challenging because the enemy keeps spawning like zerg swarm
Cons:
- The bullet particle effects and models are too simple, you just can see some orange-red stripes coming from the gun, not the true bullets.

I am not sure why this game has a “mostly negative” review as I really like playing this game. I guess it’s what you expect out of the game. I love the 3rd person type {pew pew} action this game offers. It basically has some story line about you being a pilot from the “West” kinda helping guys in a make-believe “Eastern European” kinda place, which I didn’t bother getting into much. I love the graphics - its not demanding on the hardware and still has nice visuals and game play. This game is more like a battlefield simulation where you have to dodge attacks from both ground and air, sometimes flying below the radar, keeping clear of SAM sites, all while having to complete your objective.

Coastline Flight Simulator
I usually dont review games EVER. go ahead and try and find a review i have written….. that said i do recommend this game. yes it is simplistic in its current state. but the developer is working on improving QOL aspect’s. one of my origial and only gripe with this game was the lack of HOTAS support. but now HOTAS is supported witch makes me happy to see. If you are looking for a relaxing flying experience this is about as relaxing as it gets. with the perks of having built in missions unlike other games in this genre. the game has some decent visuals that are easy on the eyes and pretty nice to look at. with some miinor improvements this game could be great. if the Dev added the ability to accually see cargo and passengers that would be a huge bonus in it self and shouldnt be to hard to implement. also planes do lack Flaps. this is something that is present on almost all aircraft so deff should be a top priority on the list along with passengers and cargo visiblity and interaction. other then that an improvement in weather system and adding more fauna would really take this game to the level i believe the Dev is aiming for. price is a little steep atm at $20 but with some more improvements this could easy be a $35 game with minimal complaints from its users.

Defentron
Defentron is a pretty relaxing game, despite being a tower defense. The retro look and sound are well done and suitably nostalgic, without needing to rely on gratuitous particle effects, waves, or flashes like some other retro games or genres like to use. The different types of towers all have fun and unique properties, and the enemy variety and additions from stage to stage kept me thinking a good amount, rather than finding one strategy I liked and just using that on everything.
Being able to power up a given turret in a pinch was cool too, but if I have one criticism about that mechanic’s game balance, it’s that it feels necessary to use that function on the basic turrets (at least for the early game), which destroys them afterwards, and it felt like a bit of a waste. That is, instead of trying to plan out placement or turret types to counter different contingencies, I felt like I had to budget my resources to account for “necessary losses” rather than just “acceptable losses,” which made it feel less like a puzzle game at those parts, and more like the traditional gratuitous enemy spam TD games that I don’t like nearly as much as this one.

Defentron is a fun tower defense, and certainly a challenging one. Many levels can really get you stuck until you figure out the right sequence of towers and upgrades to buy, but that difficulty gives the game a lot more longevity and replayability, specially if you are going to try and complete all achievments.
It took me 14 hours to complete everything the game had to offer, which I feel is a good value for the pricetag

Droopy Balls Simulator 2021
There was a time in my life where I was so lost. That was prior to September 17th, 2021. Thanks to Greener Productions and my recent purchase of a faster potato, this game has renewed my purpose in life.
I wake up revitalized and rejuvenated after being graced by DBS2K21. This didn’t only revolutionize the gaming industry, it saved my life. Thank you for delivering this gem unto the world.

People often talk about emergent gameplay and peak artifical intelligence in gaming and will often cite the most modern triple-A releases. Those people will find the true height of game design here. This simple, yet deeply complex release showcases the power of what a small team of dedicated professionals (or in this case, a single visonary) is truely capable of. You can tell that Greener Productions must have dedicated countless hours to the science and art of sack tightness. Greener must have done little else than observe the raw elasticity of a sack under many conditions for months. Aerodynamic tests, drop tests and a great deal of examination of sacks of all shapes and sizes have led to this masterpiece of modern technology.

Ducks with hidden marks are considered winning ducks, and those that get eaten by a shark you will lose points.
Twitch streamers share the gameplay with their followers, interacting through chat and video. This is a gaming collision of Hook A Duck and social video streaming at its finest, with a growing collection of playable ponds.

Landing
That fact that I am giving this little indie gem it’s first review more than two full weeks after it launched shows the sad state on Steam of how the over saturation of asset flips and low effort garbage buries little treasures like this game.

A game that I played back on my old Commodore 64 called “Lander” is brought back to life here with the objective simply being mastering the controls of a rocket ship to get it from point A to point B. Using thrust and left and right steering seems simple enough sure, but mastering it is the real challenge.

This game is honestly very well done. I only played 10 minites so far but it hits me right in the nostalgia feels about old Lunar Lander flash games. It has lots of levels and different ships.
Only thin I wish would be for (xinput) controller support.
