Battlecruiser Millenium Gold was for a long time only available as a DVD with copy protection, has never been freeware and became rare. Being a favorite of many fans and after a request (by me among others), it has now been re-released as download on Steam (for now) in a bundle with its predecessors to celebrate the 25th birthday of Battlecruiser 2000AD’s release.
The reasons for a purchase must be clarified by everyone for themselves. Except Battlecruiser Millenium Gold, all other games are free to find on abandonware sites.

Hedgie Simulator
By far, the greatest piece of software published on any platform, ever. This masterpiece has reduced Steam to a mere launcher for what is now the sole driver of my existence: Hedgie Simulator.

JUMANJI: The Curse Returns
Not what I expected being honest, I was envisioning more interactivity such as those in mario party games, it’s not a bad game but it does feel lacking. After playing for around 11 hours roughly I can say I have adapted to the game-play of dragging the corresponding item to either another character or the enemy at hand, it can be somewhat challenging, especially trying to get the save every location achievement which I had to enlist the help of a friend as the Ai was not working out, this is as far as core game-play goes however.

Make A Jigsaw Puzzle
I like it, especially with being able to use my own images. Though it does need clearer instructions on it’s use.

I had some issues making it work non-vr, but it’s a great game, and for the price, I’m going to say it’s very worth it.
To my mind tho, I think this game could be improved with only a few things :
-
Choice of the quality of the puzzle pieces (higher quality/lower quality for potato pc)
-
Higher number of pieces (currently 150 which is hard enough but not taking much time)
-
The ability to organize the pieces (for example boxes on the side so we can rank them by color or idk)
-
The ability to change the number of pieces after chosing a picture

Milling machine 3D
Drill, mill, grind and cut in a lovely, little hut.
For the first time ever, you are able to immerse yourself in a world of milling. You can use a conventional milling machine, from the comfort of your computer.
With a tutorial that will lead you through the first stages of the game, you will acquaint yourself with the controles, so you can prototype your own products or solve challenging tests.
Realistic physics and movement make the grind feel life-like. Customize your workpiece by choosing a material and size. Don’t have enough time to finish it right now? No problem! Just save your work and continue at another time. Don’t know which direction to go with? Duplicate your work and try it out! Mistakes are allowed! Trial and error being great teaching tools.

aerofly RC 8
Aerofly RC8 is a very good RC simulator with superb graphics that runs well on low-end GPUs. The aerodynamics are noticeably better than the previous version (RC7), and the aerobatic aircraft now spin and snap roll realistically.
The graphics quality is superb, including the detailed aircraft models and extensive 3D scenery for FPV flying (complete with ripples in the sea). However my favourites are the panoramas, which seamlessly blend foreground 3D objects (including functional windsocks) with background photography, allowing you to fly in front of, or behind (or crash into) nearby objects whilst retaining an incredibly lifelike appearance. And you don’t require much in the way of graphics hardware - it consistently achieves over 60 fps on my laptop’s puny MX150 graphics card with graphics quality set to High, using Vulkan with high quality anti-aliasing enabled.

-
This simulator taught me to fly and land successfully. Never again will I be tossing about erratically.
-
Good visuals, panoramic scenery looks great, 3D scenery is sufficient.
-
Interesting features (multiplayer) and game options (spot landing, etc.) Enough variety in aircraft and scenery to learn what you need to.
-
Possible to play with a game controller in a pinch or with a USB-connected RC radio.
-
High AAA game price for fair visual quality / shallow game loop.
-
Simulation issues, like gears tearing off as soon as they hit grass (see artwork tab to see what I mean). Still haven’t managed a tip stall, so unconvinced about the absolute realism of control laws, which is what I paid for after all (however, this is not a definite criticism, just something I observed made me crash in real life and has not happened in-game; perhaps due to the models available, see below).

Behind Glass: Aquarium Simulator
I needed to check this out and even join Steam to do so! Impressive graphics, complex behaviour modelling of fish. This is early access – there are not hundreds of items and creatures yet, but they will come if the developers fulfil their announcements.
Would be great to have social features to show off your tanks.
In summary: this appears to be the most impressive aquascaping tool to date.
– Real player with 38.5 hrs in game
If you’re anything like me, this is the aquarium sim you’ve been looking for! The aquascapes are easy and fun to build, the graphics are lovely, and the fish are so cute & lively! They chase each other & nibble on things in the tank. It’s so fun & peaceful to watch. If you’re looking for a casual game to build tanks and admire your virtual fish, this game is for you!
