Lucky me has the dubious honour of writing the first review of “12 locks and keys”.

“12 locks and keys” is a 2D mobile app tier puzzle game slapped together with the godawful GameMaker Studio video game construction kit, by copy + paste merchants, wow wow Games. All these guys do is take construction kit garbage and asset flips and try scam people into paying them for someone else’s work.

In this case it does look like a little work went into filling out the Yoyogames/GameMaker Studio template for a 2D puzzle game… but not much. The game doesn’t even work because it doesn’t properly register mouseclicks. I guess since wow wow Games don’t do any game development and just copy/fill out game templates made by others, it should be no surprise they don’t do any software testing either.

Conundrum

Conundrum

Conundrum is another Construct 2 asset flip from serial copy+paste spam artists, wow wow Games. All these guys do is copy game templates and projects from Construct 2, change a few things/fill out the template, then try to gouge as much money as they can from someone else’s work. They have run these asset/template flip copy+pastes half a dozen times now.

This time they’ve ripped off a basic template for a block drop mobile app puzzle game (it’s a tutorial on the Construct web page for doing mobile physics). Asset flips and other “Fake games” (as Valve calls them) are harmful to the industry, because they pollute the marketplace and reduce the visibility and exposure needed by genuine indie developers.

Dragon Creek

Dragon Creek

Before I get into this review, I will definitely state that this game is honestly not for everyone. In fact, the game is very niche- which is not a criticism, but it is something to mind when contemplating purchasing this game.

The game is very simple, but its simplicity is the beauty of it. You can generate a dragon at the shrine, train it up, battle it, and rank it up.

If someone is looking for a farm simulator with dragon training, this is not that game. The farm can be upgraded, but all upgrades pertain to improving your dragon’s situation. The only thing remotely akin to farming is purchasing the plot upgrades- which you cannot place yourself- so you can grow your own food so you do not need to buy food for your dragon as often from the food stand.

Wow, Dragon Creek. Where to begin…

It’s so adorable! It’s a simple, cute game about raising your own dragon. You have 4 different species that you can get, them being the European Dragon, the Eastern (Lung) Dragon, the Cat-Lung, and the Wyvern. There will be more species on the way too, so keep an eye out. The dragons can be generated through a randomizer or you can put “codes” in to create your own. (Hint: Try messing around with specific dragon names…) You feed, pet, and wash your dragon in this game.

No Exit : Torments of Hell

You’re a bat who can’t fly - only spider sling. Don’t touch the ground or you’ll die. Simple addicting and at times frustrating - but in the fun way that you’ll want to try again.

Full disclosure: I received this game from the developer because I already own some of their software products.

Quite a deceptively tricky little game. You basically need to go from one end of a level to the next using a grappling hook, but of course as you progress the game throws more challenges. Interface is simple as are the controls, the graphics are good and the sound track varied, and you have a campaign mode and an endless mode to challenge yourself with.

The interface is 3 out of 10. The game is interesting and quickly draws you into your game world, which helps to distract from everything. In this game, you need to connect figures of the same color in a row, at least 3 figures. In general, the game has fun graphics at a normal level. The game itself is colorful and expressive. I like everything

Mystery Coin

Mystery Coin

Want to try to collect all the coins? Then your time has come. Mystery Coin looks like a simple game, but in reality it is not.

Mystery Coin is an indirect control platformer with a side view. The player will have to guide the adventurer along unsafe paths, avoiding the clever traps set up. Remove bombs, stakes from the path, bring drawbridges down so that the hero does not fall into the abyss and can collect all the coins scattered on the ground.

Peace, Death! 2

Peace, Death! 2

Sequel to Peace, Death!, (h)e(a)ven more fun !

Simple game when you start, but it gets harder more you push through your quests (with 4 apocalyptic knights) and other side quests.

Your main quest is to put at the right place in Heaven or Hell or Purgatory a list of 6 people you can see (sometimes demons, angels, hunters, etc etc).

Each of them have there own particularity and sometimes it could be a bit tedious to think and decide correctly.

On the latest levels, you really have to act fast (and precisely) or you get ejected in few seconds !

Good game. 8/10. Would like to have more interactions with other characters and more quests from them. Biggest plus for me: there are no time restrictions (except catastrophes, but they do not impact the grade of the level).
