Sine Wave City
Lucky me gets to write the first review for Sine Wave City… sigh.
Sine Wave City is an abandoned early access 2D retro neon “arcade” game where instead of shooting the enemies, you form a sine wave at the bottom of the screen and you have to whack the bullets with the tops of your sine wave. Yeah, it’s not a fun concept.
The amusment from this game comes from an unintended source: It’s completely terrible, perhaps one of the worst “games” on Steam. Little in the way of actual game development took place, this was slapped together with the godawful GameMaker Studio construction kit. Using a bad quality construction kit results in bad quality games, as Sine Wave City demonstrates.

Beyond The Underworld
There are good and bad things in that game, though this time it’s definitely a thumb down at this point.
Good :
-
Classic walking simulator.
-
Nice music at the end especially.
-
“Works”.
Bad :
-
“Works” as in lot of bugs that hinder your progression.
-
If you pause during the game, the pause overlay remains, forcing you to restart the game to get rid of it.
-
I got stuck numerous times because the events wouldn’t lauch. In the island, I had the time to turn around the last island 3 times before the event to finally show up, allowing me to continue.

As a Kickstarter backer, I was excited to see the development and release of this game. After playing it, I’m happy to say it delivered, but there’s still work that needs to be done. I’m also giving this review knowing full well that it is in Early Access mode, so I have faith that things can be worked on.
Starting off with graphics, the overview is generally gorgeous. I would equate the experience of this game to viewing a lovely light show in a museum. Much of the game is screenshot and wallpaper-worthy as the colors and display really do stand out. However, when you start to really look into the depth, that’s when you may feel a bit less enthusiastic. Many textures need to be worked on, the 2D to 3D ratio is slightly off-putting in some scenes, and I’ve seen some spastic flashy glitches in some areas.

Fire Dogs
I highly recommend this game. It is an enjoyable, relaxing cool game with fantastic graphics. It is fun to play solo or with a team of fire dogs to explore. I love the storyline and the calming music. It is fun to howl to call other fire dogs in the multi-player game or howl to receive game clues.

TOK 2
this game is highly addictive! absolutely no room for errors or extra counters! def keeps you thinking 40 steps ahead of yourself. nice relaxing music and sounds to calm you down when you go over the counter by just 1 and have to restart for PERFECTION… i mean if you’re playing this game and just never redoing a puzzle with a - counter, are you TRULY experiencing the game?? :3

Cheap simple fun little short puzzle game to play if you’re ever bored, This game reminds me of a game i used to play on my phone called “Infinity Loop” same goal but you get limited moves in TOK 2, witch did make for a good new challenge,
Kind of wish this game had an “Undo” Button and a bit more levels
But other then that i recommend this game for anyone that’s just looking for a quick relaxing game to play for an hour or so

Brush Up VR
Some of the best VR I’ve experienced - and its good for you. Great example of room-scale VR. Some mighty fine brush wiggles. Nice job guys.

This is the perfect amount of VR for a dollar. It’s a got a nice environment (although you cannot locomote), that changes when the game is active, I liked that. The plot is as follows. I member of Blue Man group is staying at your house. Dummy forgot his toothbrush, and you will not lend him yours (because it would turn blue). So you use the brush that is for toilets, and you scrub off the plaque. The controller shakes, and it was kinda fun!
! Brush your teeth! Yes you! I see you…. Greg. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ng67AbB3E2o

b 2
This game saved my life.
I am 27.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and adopted our son together. They are now both 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I found myself lost and miserable. I was self destructive. I got so mad one day from everything spiraling out of my control that I punched some concrete in a moment of overwhelming emotion. That caused me to break my 5th metacarpal in my right hand… my working hand… my games hand.. the hand that I held and carried my children to bed with.. The hand I desperately needed to make sure I could continue to provide.

I remember back a few years ago when I discovered a rather quirky indie game simply known as “b”. That game really changed how I think about and view a lot of things. Without trying to spoil any of the story, it taught me to be more appreciative of things in my life.
Thusly, I was extremely excited to learn about the sequel. It came to me in a time when I was hitting a sort of crossroads. I felt lost, and was really unsure of what to do with myself. I had lost my way. This game helped me out so much. It helped me remember how much I loved beeing alive.

KOBOLOK
Great atmosphere, interestingly perplexing short story with little secrets to discover and different endings.
The only downsides are the few grammatical errors and the price, 90% off would be idea for this little gem.

I had some fun and some spooky moments playing this game. It’s quite good at delivering some of those, but if you’re looking for a more polished and deep experience, you should probably look elsewhere. The story confused me more than provided emotional connection to the thing, the scenes sequence and transitions felt janky and random, as well as the selection of most of the visual iconography. With that said, this game is rich with strange images and scenes, that are weird to the point where anything stops making any sense and you just stop and think to yourself: “What the f*** did I just saw?”. Most of the time “the spooks” were quite effective (although I must admit that I don’t usually play horror games, so more experienced players might find them less so).
