A Night In Berlin
I’ve been trying to figure out what it is about A Night in Berlin that really works on me, because something clearly does. Something made me play through it all in one go, which took hours, and then go into the kitchen for a glass of water, return to my desk, and play through it all over again.
Maybe it’s the fact that I love super-violent action games, because A Night in Berlin is an immaculate super-violent action game. You move through buildings full of angry guys, and each room is like that bit at the end of a Mexican standoff when someone pulls the trigger and everyone dies in a split second: you crash through a door, then sprint six feet to cut a guy’s throat before he can raise his weapon, quickly shoot a bullet backwards as someone bursts through the doorway to investigate the commotion, and then stab at his torso until he falls on the floor. There is no time to think. There is no ‘think’.

A Night in Berlin, a simple but yet hard game to master and complete you WILL rage however this game is worth the time and effort, as simplistic as it may seem it still is a very interesting story. The game takes place in 2024 and you have 3 different characters to play. The first one involves half stealth half non stealth and you can take out your enemies in any way achievable utilizing your gun or knife given thankfully you can resupply your ammo from dead enemies or it can be scattered around the level. The second… well you better make EVERY single shot count, one missed bullet will cost you the level, keep in mind you cannot melee or resupply on ammunition. And last but not least the 3rd and final character has a kung fu like fighting style and he has the ability to slow down time and roll. KEEP IN MIND YOU DIE ANYTIME ON ANY LEVEL YOU NEED TO RESTART THAT LEVEL COMPLETELY!!!

MDK 2
Three years after the release of the original MDK by Shiny Entertainment, the IP moved to developer Bioware, who threw out the run and gun gameplay of the first title in favour of a deeper action adventure approach.
The sequel changes the game mechanics in another major way by offering players the ability to hop between the three main characters of the series (Kurt Hectic, Max [formerly Bones], and Dr. Hawkins). The game is broken up into a series of stages that feature each main character doing something different. These are not optional stages either. Instead, the player controls each main character for a chunk of the level.

This was my first computer game I’ve ever played and it has aged extremely well. Don’t worry about not playing the first one, you can pick this game up and play it without any problem as the first game was MUCH more lax on the story side of things. This game is the definition of what it means to be a classic. As is often the case with Bioware games, the writing is fantastic with comedy being seamlessly interweaved with the high-paced action game that it is. The level designs do not lack for anything. They really make you think since every room is like its own puzzle. I remember when I was young, around 9 or 10, I would be stuck on some rooms for days before my tiny brain put together what I needed to do. This was an era before I was even aware I could google game walkthroughs, but I loved figuring everything out. The boss fights are epic, with each boss seeming like a more complex Legend of Zelda boss fight. Finally, what REALLY sets this game apart for me is the sheer amount of secrets in the game. This game is from a time when designers could throw in a secret room you accessed by stumbling across an invisible bridge over a never-ending pit or running towards a section of wall that seems slightly off-color from the rest. They reward you with items, health, or perhaps a joke room with a poorly photoshopped picture of the developers' faces over some cartoon characters. Either way, these secret rooms do not detract anything from the experience, and they’re a real treat to find. This is a game that does not hold your hand and try to steer you to progress. No, this game sits and waits for you to progress, expecting you to know what to do or to take as much time as you need to figure it out.

Unfortunately, my computer was unable to handle the level “rescue her sister,” but the rest of the game was a tour-de-force. In the game, I can both run, and shoot a gun. Pressing the left mouse button shoots a gun, and C allows to crouch in one place. The game has very beautiful graphics, and it was enjoyable to see. I received many meaningful steam achievements. I recommend this game.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered
Pros:
Humor is on par
Graphics are decent
Very good story
High replay value
Easy to learn hard to master controls very reminiscent of the Metroid Prime series
Cons:
The only cons i experienced are both related to the difficulty but oh boy they will definitively tarnish your experience
First, the difficulty in-game is absolutely inconsistent you’ll blaze through most of the level and then die 20 times at that one part and only through ridiculous luck will you get past it (Attack of the Stone Angels for example) the difficulty is a flatline most of the time and then spikes into the obscene

Polygon Hunter
Polygon Hunter is an arcadey 3rd person shooter with the emphasis on shooting bouncing and flying shapes. The theme and story is irrelative entirely but the gameplay is actually pretty fun. For the whole package I dont think it’s worth it at the $20 price point personally. Everything else is kind of tacked onto the engaging gameplay and overall feels very basic and overly time consuming to unlock anything and the general theme and graphics are lacking refinement.
The gameplay in this game is actually rather fun and challenging. The constant barrage of shapes bouncing around a tiny level that you are meant to shoot. The chaos of it all makes for an interesting tiptoeing shape shooting salad of a game. The shapes can do any number of different things like wield large blades or shoot laser beams, all that makes for a stressful environment to try to navigate without getting hit. If you get hit 3 times you lose a life, but you can grab life off the ground. I do wish that the drops were persistent from level to level, or at least left a cool off time to grab them at the end of a round, and mostly just the life drops. Graphics are okay, just okay. Some of the characters are putrid to look at, but you rarely have time to focus on the face during gameplay.

幸存者 星星之火 | Survivor Spark
«幸存者 星星之火 | Survivor Spark» Review(En/RUS)
[Indie / Sci-Fi / 3D / Shoot ’em up / Twin Stick Shooter]
Gameplay:
«Review(En):»
In this shooter, not only weapons will help you survive, but also the jumps.
Enemies kill you with one shot. After death, the hero continues the game from last checkpoint.
You can pick up upgrades, but the weapon boxes do not highlights.
It’s difficult to understand what you can break and which item is the decor. There are a lot of enemies, the gameplay is very complex and dynamic, you do not have time to look at the environment.

-A-
There are a lot of cute anime zombie girls in the sunshine. But they and the robots making the odd sounds are really scary. There are some awkward things in this game. But this game is not bad. If the dev will care more, this will become a better game.
