6/10 for the game being mostly locked behind DLC and the AI making the game so predictable. Not many perches placed or enemies for epic shots. Where there is a perch there is very few to shoot. Taking a shot is rarely costly. Just run and hide till the enemy goes back to being predictable. they should search all around not just where you were. give a chance to knife them. Rarely can you lure AI into a shot they are so stuck to their path. No matter how many rocks you hit them with. Did play through twice and landing a submarine on Hitler was satisfying but not 10 bucks for DLC satisfying.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2
Friends, I really hate to post this as the game is bipolar to the nth degree. There is brilliance here, great fun and there is an odd idiocy so boring and compromised by bad reticles and basic misunderstanding on the “ones” of snipping that it makes the game truly unplayable. When it shines, those parts are not to be missed as they are beautifully rendered and as engaging as one would ever want, a new HIGH for the franchise. But, just as I had feared looking at the little we were shown, when it fails it is awful, unplayable and it stops you wanting to return to the game and as there is no going past one chapter until it is done, we will all have to stay put….on a platform….and pretend that this is fun. It is a bore folks, the scopes are simplistic, the marking unreadable (as are many of the distances on heads (read on green? ok….) and it is an awful ugly grind. As many have noted….

CONTRACTS 1, BUT BETTER.
However, the core gameplay is still pretty much the same. If you like C1, you will like C2 a lot. If you don’t like C1, well there is a high chance you won’t like C2 either.
2 years after SGW3, CI Games came back with SGW Contracts. Another 2 years, they give us Contracts 2. It’s a much more polished game this time around.
The improvements:
-Extreme long range sniping, their trademark selling point in this game. Now along with normal, classic low-medium range maps, the game will have extreme long range map which targets will usually be 1000m+ away. You can only see the enemies through your scope or binocular. These areas are especially made for long range sniping that you can’t not get in there no matter what you do. And of course, sniping at those long distance is very satisfying. If you want to make it even more challenging, use rifles with low magnification scope.

Sniper Hunter Adventure 3D
Full disclosure: I got this game on sale for .49 cents USD. And I actually enjoyed this one. I’ve played a lot of hunting games where you’re stuck in place, and they are usually a buggy nightmare. But here you can choose from a range of game. Each animal, including boar, rabbits, wolves and ducks, has a range of levels. You get money for completing a hunt and can buy upgrades, eventually.
I found the wolf hunts to be the easiest, but boar hunts at level two are good for earning cash. Is it perfect? No. You’re stuck in one spot and some of the shots reply on being speedy more than skilled. There are bugs of the animals zooming in for no reason at all. And if an animal is out of range, tough luck. It would be nice to see an untimed hunt and more affordable weapons upgrades.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts
IF YOU DON’T LIKE THE CORE GAMEPLAY OF SNIPER: GHOST WARRIOR 3, THEN YOU WON’T LIKE THIS GAME EITHER.
Kay, about to the review. 2 years after SGW3, CI Games come back with SGW Contracts. Seems like they know what they are doing this time around. No longer aiming for the AAA games market, scaling down back to AA game.
This review is after day 1 patch 1.02
Positives:
-No more open world. The biggest mistake with SGW3 is open world. Now, in Contracts, you have 5 open-ended maps. This keep the core gameplay from SGW3 which you can play how you want without any restriction. No open world also means faster loading time.

Summary
I have to give SGWC a “yes” (maybe 3 out of 5 star rating) because I do keep playing it, but – ONLY if you can deal with as many little frustrations as there are fun things about a game. If you’re easily annoyed, you’re probably better off finding a different sniper/shooter.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2
I would give this game something between a thumbs up and a thumbs down because I do like some aspects of the game. However, they force me to make a black & white choice and I choose “No Way”. The graphics are pretty good, the basic gameplay is OK but there are a lot of issues:
1. There are places on the maps you can get stuck and not be able to get out of AND you cannot kill yourself to continue playing the game! You have to leave the game altogether and rejoin (if you can).
2. There is no way to kick or ban a player on your own server DURING the game …you have to wait for the game to be over! This is the ONLY thing you can do to protect yourself and it isn’t even in-the-moment or real-time!

Personally so far I think this is the best game CI Games have produced. As a sniper-enthusiast I look for pros and cons with this game. I have already in advance completed this game on the Xbox 360 a long time ago, and to be honest I felt more connected into the game, and more sort a say “Alive” on the PC version. Here are some reasons why.

This is a shooting game that simulates real firearms. Players can choose various firearms, submachine guns, rifles, pistols, etc., and modify the selected firearms according to their preferences. After selecting the firearms, players can enter the shooting range for shooting training, and use the mouse to control the direction and shooting operations. Environmental factors such as wind direction and moving target will affect your target performance.
Geometric Sniper - Blood in Paris
The game isn’t bad but the features are rough. Hiding lasts like 2 seconds - the game fails to tell that you need to time the hiding with the enemy shot.
Also, the game keeps crashing after 20 minutes of gameplay. This is very annoying,
Good idea poor execution.

I recommend it because I like the geometric sniper concept from the first game and the game is an improvment on that.
But, message to the devs: your game is crashing a lot. At least on my PC.
I had probably 10 crashes in 5 hours.
That’s not really a deal breaker because this game does not require more than 5 minutes of your time but still … it crashes a lot.

Sniper Fury
“Sniper Fury” is a f2p time killer, posing as a sniper shooting game. In reality, there is no skill applied, but the patience to grind for another, more powerful rifle, to click your enemies out of the picture faster. More to it, the most significant elements of gameplay there -are energy bars. Yeah, exactly those notorious “stamina” things from browser games, which should instantly give any purposeful PC player a headache. Well, on top of things, there are mandatory bullet cam effects and big explosions every now and then. And the grinding process, where you build up your armory and unlocking yet another stupid “story level”.

It says the game is Free to play, I would rather say Free to download or Pay to play. Nevertheless it’s still possible to play for free and gain some progress, but slower then when you pay. It’s all about buying and spending rubies to progress, if not, you will have to wait an amount of time to pass a weapon or a squad upgrade for example. Basically everything you do require you to spend rubies in order to gain progress. And if you think you are going to play a sniper game, you will get surprised and very disappointed as I did. This game has nothing to do with sniping at all. You find yourself holding a sniper rifle or a machine gun, you won’t be able to move, all you can do is look, aim and zoom and that’s basically it. And even PvP matches are not with actual players but bots, very disappointing. Sniper Fury is more like a gambling game, so if you want to gamble your money and life away get it, either then that I would never play this game myself for one second.

Sniper Elite V2
Okay, if your favorite slice of the FPS pie is sniping, you might want to give this a go. I got it for free during a 24 hr Steam giveaway, but after having played it through I’d probably pay at least $10 for it. That’s not much of a recommendation, but read on if you want to know why I take this particular stance.
It’s WW2, and you’re a sniper working for American interests at the end of the war. The storyline is okay, not superb, but passable. Well, mostly–the ending is a bit much, but no spoilers here. You are fighting against German and Russian troops while attempting to keep V2 rocket technology from falling into Communist hands. Stock World War II characters and situations are prevalent with no memorable bad guys. I played through the entire solo campaign in less than 24 hours, and while certain battles and moments have stayed with me, a lot of it is fading into one long blur of FPS glory.

The game is unlike anything else on the market, it is becoming and will become a cult classic just like I predicted when I reviewed this game a few days after the release (the Nazi Zombie expansion packs attest to that) There are only three major negatives about this game that I can think of:

Countersnipe
The matches are fun, playing with real people rather than bots is even better. When the game first came out it took me 37-50Seconds to find a match with only bots, and queuing with real people (4v4) took 70 seconds OR it dosent find a match. Now the game has gotten worse, it takes 222 Seconds to find a match with only bots in it; four minutes to find a match that takes 1 minute and 30 seconds to play…. Not very fun when i have to afk in a queue that i have to wait until i here the game start because i rather not look at a black screen for 4 minutes every 2 minutes. 66% of the game ATM is looking at a black screen, and after you’re done waiting you get a game with only bots.

Countersniper is very limited with just 4 maps and all based on farming and with a limit of 20 kills a match.
Some players still play it but 95% of the games I played against bots.
Non so perché ho sprecato 42 ore in Countersniper………..
