Battle Jacked is a decent game if you wanted to go in to blow off some steam, It has many different classes as well as soldiers to choose from, each having there own abilites giving the game alot of variety, however i found the cowboy classes to be some of the best since the powerful longrange makes gameplay alot easier. The game has many different gamemodes and maps which keep it from getting repetitive. It also introduces a Hacker mode, which i found not as fun to play with, but i feel like if your into simulator style games it would be perfect for you.

This game is a great concept that could be a totally awesome experience in VR. After all, who hasn’t wanted to just blow shit up and see the fireworks and destructive aftermath? Unfortunately, this is a promising physics puzzler that falls short of greatness. That isn’t to say this a bad game, but it could have been so much better with some more time in the oven.

So I got this thinking it was going to be a vr angry birds type game. It is. You have three different kinds of weapons to knock down or destroy what seems like a lot of building levels. I haven’t seen it all since later levels need to be unlocked by completing the levels before them. It’s a great pick up and play for a few minutes game. Not much else to say about it. I’d say it’s worth 20$ and a nice game to get especially for friends when they stop by. I’m going to be going back to this game instead of the lab whenever I feel like knocking down stuff.

Crysis Remastered
Let’s start it, by saying - if you’ve not played Crysis, I’d personally go with this version over the original, as it is more accessible, requires less tinkering, and plays slightly better.
However, as far as remasters go, this one is very disappointing. Ignoring the change of aesthetics at times, all of the issues with very much a junky AI are still here. The sound is as terrible as it ever was, with many sound glitches still present. And that horrible, directionless voice acting…. god, don’t even get me started (“Perfect!” says Nomad happily, when it’s supposed to be sarcastic “Perfect…”, as implied by the situation and subtitles… ugh).

This game has serious bugs in lasts level. As result the latest level can’t be completed: no boss activated.
Also instead of original game it so simplified: no some interesting places and situations in several level.
I am not recommended this game - original will be much better.

8-bit cowboy games have a special place in my heart. It’s cute, and a decent way to pass the time. For about 50 cents I feel like I got my money’s worth. I can’t really fault the gameplay itself, but there’s frequent game-breaking bugs. I’ve had to restart twice so far, once because my gun stopped working after the first stage, and then because the shielded zombie started spamming bullets after I died, to the point where I couldn’t get past the death screen (I see other players are having the same issue). Apparently that’s just before the end of the game anyway. Will probably play it again later. I recommend this game if you like funny broken English and talking cacti :)

Float Night
First up - well done 仿生梦 Personal Studio for doing this without help.
–———————————————————–
I have changed my review to positive. I’m having a lot of fun with the game, setting up many laser cannons to defend against the ‘Scorpion Beasts and Trolls of Tang’.
It’s still in Alpha mode, so I hope the game grows and develops more.
It’s not a polished game for sure, but it has a certain charm to it.

So far this is actually pretty fun. It’s a fairly simple game loop, but has a few surprising moments and I’m enjoying it.
Edit:
I’ve figured out how to do some basic mods for Float Night which was my #1 feature request:

Some bugs / quality of life stuff I’ve noticed, but which don’t stop me from playing it:
- Big one that I thought made my safe file unrecoverable (see update): It’s possible to place a foundation piece and become stuck. Even reloading the game doesn’t help (obviously I shouldn’t have saved after this happened, but normally I get returned to the starting point on every load so I thought it would fix the issue). Update: Just let your character die of hunger if this happens, it’ll respawn you with -1 day survived lost.

Priest Simulator: Heavy Duty
Only played the game for a while and stopped when I finished the early access content. As a playable demo essentially, Priest Simulator: Heavy Duty is surprisingly a lot of fun.
The core concept- without going into too many details, is enjoyable. You play as a vulgar-Polish-vampire-priest that kills Shatanists with baseball bats, gun fists, and gravity gloves. You can even slow time by chugging beer.
So far. my favorite weapon in-game is the gravity glove. In function, it’s pretty much the Gravity Gun from Half-Life, but as a glove. Like the Gravity Gun, you can pick up select items from the environment and fling them at high speeds. Items flung do considerable damage to npcs, and when struck, makes them ragdoll with the blow. Another bonus is that when an npc is dead, you can pick up and throw their bodies around with the glove. Unlimited ammunition!

I liked the polish postal like humor, the absurdity of some mechanics and themes, the original presentation in the form of “documentary” with characters being interviewed. It is surprisingly fun to play. Even though it is called Priest simulator I wouldn’t really put it into the simulator bucket - instead its more like its own weird game with a story and sandbox-ish mechanics to play around without restricting you like most games do nowadays.
I think that priest sim can be a great game if some minor concerns get addressed and tweaks happen. It is sometimes unclear when my melee attack will hit and whats the range, during exorcism it is hard to navigate the house - especially drunk, some doors get stuck so you need to improvise - destroying all doors there seems like the best solution because opening them is a problem. I want to play around and see a lot cool weapons and other ways to obliterate enemies as well as more complicated enemies and bosses as content.
