Sniper Hunter Adventure 3D

Sniper Hunter Adventure 3D

Full disclosure: I got this game on sale for .49 cents USD. And I actually enjoyed this one. I’ve played a lot of hunting games where you’re stuck in place, and they are usually a buggy nightmare. But here you can choose from a range of game. Each animal, including boar, rabbits, wolves and ducks, has a range of levels. You get money for completing a hunt and can buy upgrades, eventually.

I found the wolf hunts to be the easiest, but boar hunts at level two are good for earning cash. Is it perfect? No. You’re stuck in one spot and some of the shots reply on being speedy more than skilled. There are bugs of the animals zooming in for no reason at all. And if an animal is out of range, tough luck. It would be nice to see an untimed hunt and more affordable weapons upgrades.

English:

Game installs problem-free on Windows 10.

At the start of the game, the first problem comes to light:

you are immediately in the game - without any possible volume settings etc.

Also no help, which functions there are in the game …

You are constantly playing in the same screen area and can only click left or right to change direction or to shoot around there, with the figure itself running in the previously selected direction within the screen area, which is why you find death quickly and often, especially since the opponent is simply short show up without warning. So a very chaotic control and programming.

Fox Goes Hunting ™

Fox Goes Hunting ™

A basic game with awkward controls but can be reasonably fun if you like hunting achievements

Fox Goes Hunting is a third person hunting game with very light shooting elements.

Playing an adorable fox, you are on the hunt for predators and prey. The predators must be shot with bullets and the prey must be eaten.

Shoot enough predators and catch enough prey in an allotted time to advance to the next level.

Not as good as the other RR Games but it’s cool and interesting to play

For a game that is essentially a spinoff of the Redneck Rampage series, this game is an amazingly complete and realistic hunting simulator of supreme quality, especially for it’s time, aside lacking the need to hit specific parts of the animal for it to be edible, as you might expect from a 90s game on the build engine.

Red Neck Huntin' is an amazingly fun and satisfying game if you are the type of person like me who can appreciate a nice quiet relaxing game just once in a while, are a real-life hunting aficionado and/or have been hunting for real and found the experience to be at least slightly enjoyable as I did.

Does not work, don’t waste your money. Instructions are non-existent. Shows a circle to use to teleport but no way to actually teleport. No hint of objectives or game play, they expect you to just figure it out as you go. No guides. No discussion of any kind. Until now, no user reviews to let you know how bad it is.

If there is anyway to actually play this game there are no instructions to let you know how to do so.

Great Hunt: North America

Great Hunt: North America

Look, on the last Colorado stage, grassy ver., It’s impossible to get past that stage. Once I kill an animal, I go over to pick up the skin, and for some reason, it won’t let me. Please fix this. The game is not too shabby for $10, but there are some obvious flaws that need to be fixed.

only thing i can fault this game on is a weird bug where you cant skin animals anymore than 3 times a level even if level requirement is greater than 3. otherwise really nice.

TLDR: Was a great game and a great developer, the developer’s quality has fallen apart, the game retains great potential if the developers can get their house in order.

At it’s heart, this was a great game and it retains that potential. However, the developers are clearly having some sort of issues interrupting the quality of their delivery pipeline. Until recently I was purchasing every DLC they released in support of them immediately upon release (I even have some DLC I haven’t even played yet). The reason I stopped was the total collapse of their releases. Every new release (both patches and new content) introduce new bugs of a sever/critical nature. Even worse, for the last 4 or 5 new content releases the new content itself had major bugs preventing the enjoyment of that new content. Yes, some bugs are expected with new releases, but this game has taken it to a whole new level. What’s worse is it takes them months to correct these bugs.

A beautiful and amazing game, ruined by an ever-growing number of game-breaking bugs.

I’m not going to list all the bugs (as Steam might think this review is DoS attack) but instead just mention some of the ones I ran into myself:

  • In the entire Hirschfelden reserve (one of the two maps included in the base game) I get bad (extra loud) noise levels when moving on grass. This is only on the grass and only on that reserve. Basically whatever I do there is considered extra-loud by the game so, for example, just walking spooks nearby animals as much as I were sprinting.

[tl:dr] below my mumbling

Hello trying to keep it short. If you want a fully fledged hunting game this is not it. This game is at the start of its journey. Why would you want this game? If you want to hunt in VR and you re not afraid of the low entry price into this game get it and support the devs.

You have two different animals to hunt which are European Hare and Red Deer. But the animals differ in size and there are already rare fur types. Three different weapons to use of which there are two variants for two of them. And you have one huge map. So you see compared to some other games that is not much. But remember this game is at its start. And the devs will add to the game and will listen to suggestions. So if you want to try to influence the development, join the discord!

If you’ve played The Hunter CotW, you’ll probably enjoy this one as well, at least for a few hours. That’s about where the content ended for me so I’m eagerly waiting for more updates. The main reason I bought the game is to support the developers since it looks really promising.

Even in its current early access state this game has been fun to play, for me at least. It is quite rough around the edges, but the main appeal of hunting is there: walking around until you find a track or see a deer, getting closer, taking the shot, and hoping you don’t have to track too far for the trophy.
