Changed the review to positive, the dev fixed a lot of the issues I mentioned.

Like yeah the AI is still basic, its a bit asset reliant (the zombies used for the corpses for example) and it could still use a bit of optimization on some sections but it’s a single dev and I absolutely didn’t know he was working alone when I made my review.

The only thing that really annoy me rn is that if you shoot a dinosaur in the head from behind, the hit will not register as a headshot, so you will have to shoot him another time from the front to kill him and that’s pretty risky.

this game is a very amazing dino shooting/horror game because of the whole inventory system and the way the dinosaurs die but there is one fault, when you go to the last stand area with the other survivors you have two choices: fight alongside with them against the endless amount of raptors and die or blow a hole in the wall so everyone can escape with a C4. i chose option 2 but when i detonated the C4 there was no hole in the wall at all and there was not a single scratch on it it was still in perfect condition and no matter what the wall can take 4 C4’s and still stay in one piece so i restarted the game and got back to where i was and when i detonated the C4 it still stood in one piece so can you please fix that? it would help me so much in the game if you do that. but other than the whole C4 not doing any damage to the wall thing i would definitely recommend this to other players.

Primal Carnage

Primal Carnage

Primal Carnage is a game I can entertain myself for hours on end. Whether you’re in it for the killing or just to mess around and role play (rp). I Recommend this game. It’s true this game hasn’t been updated in months or maybe even a year now but even so it makes a great game none the less. If you want to feel a realistic dinosaur game then this one should be on your list of games to try.

The gameplay is quite smooth if you have a decent connection to the internet, it only gets laggy if there is a player with a high ping or your internet is just slow. It’s a very smooth game and this is why I prefer it over Primal Carnage Extinction. The “improved” primal carnage (Extinction) is just too choppy for me and it just doesn’t have the same feel that Primal Carnage gives. When I fly as a ptera I feel free, I could spend hours just flying around a map doing tricks and going under/over hard to reach places. Bonus: Pteras can actually speed up in this game by diving, wheras in Extinction you’re basically just looking to get killed if you’re a ptera. The movement of the dinos feels realistic, for example the raptor pounces at what seems within logic (in game it looks to be around 15ft). The rex doesn’t vacuum you up into it’s mouth, you actually have to aim to eat the human. Dilos are a much harder class to play, so if you like challenges then you should play that class and try to get atleast 5 kills without dying. Another thing that I like about the gameplay is the accuracy in aiming, it seems very realistic although the bullets don’t slow down, they shoot the same speed as far as you want. Even still this game is quite fun.

Yes, this game is dead. None the less, I wanted to give this game a review, since it’s one of my most beloved games ever.

I’ve bought this game back in the day when it was still supported and not that long released on Steam yet. It was kinda an early early acces game, so before Steam’s EA-phase. It was released, but still very early in development, it still would get more dinos, maps, more modes etcetera. But man I loved it. I love dinosaurs, I love shooting the place up, what could go wrong? Well, long story short; an abandoned game does the trick.

GHOSTWINTER

I think its a cool game for a $3 indie title. The scenery is very nice and it definitely puts you in the winter mood. It is very challenging but I’ve managed to get 17 of the 35 enemies so far, still haven’t made it to the T-Rex yet but I’m looking forward to finding it.

Excellent optimization and high quality graphics. Didn’t notice any flaws. Those who give negative reviews due to the fact that in a single-player game on the “Esc” key, the game restarts apparently did not read the detailed description in the upper right corner. High-quality control, many types of weapons, I liked the ability to save a character with a certain weapon and accessories that you can then choose. Various modes of multiplayer play, no monotony. I advise everyone!!!

I actually enjoyed the gameplay somewhat, but this game is very grindy to get the achievements instead of being skill/progression based. I’ve played some of the levels 20+ times and I still need to do it more times to get enough diplodocus skins. There are also only 2 maps and a few weapons. This game might be fine at bundle price, but there is not very much actual gameplay. The majority of the time spent playing will be grinding.

Dino D-Day

Dino D-Day

This game is absurd, and fun to play… usually. Pitting the Allies vs the Axis in an alternate history where Germany clones dinosaurs to fuel their war effort, the Axis forces have a near monopoly on the Dinos. This doesn’t mean that the Allies are any less fun to play though. Trigger, the Allies sole dino is one of the better ones, with a charge ability, and a solid machine gun to use.

Playing at the Allies is more a straightforward FPS, with relatively standard classes. There is an assault, a sniper, a medic, all the regulars, and they do quite well against the dinosaurs, to the point that with a competitive team, the Axis forces have a bit of a harder time of things. Shotguns end dinos, sniper rifles end dinos from a distance. The Allies have a clear advantage on range in general. With a female french resistance medic, and a female sniper, I am also happy to see that I can play as a woman for once in an FPS. One that isn’t merely relegated to a healer or noncombat class. This is pretty rare, and most people won’t care, but I think it is pretty cool. Also of note is that several classes have area of effect buffs, such as accuracy or healing, allowing small squads to become even more deadly.

This game is fun. No matter your skill, no matter your system, no matter the class you choose. This game embodies the ultimate dream of all young boys and I can assume many young girls. WW2 mixed with Dinos I mean it’s magic! I awaited this game from the moment I heard of it. It’s surprising a game like this took so long to come out. But the similarity to UT is what really makes this game fun for old school gamers. Let’s be honest ever since Halo and CS ruined gaming forever people have been waiting for a game that isn’t realistic. If I wanted to crouch and steady myself before every shot I’d go play paintball. I want to jump and flip like a jackass while some poor sap tries to shoot the ball of rubber I’ve become. It’s simple the matrix was cool that’s what I want from a game… any game. That said the graphics are ok at best but the gameplay more than makes up for it. The only real problem I have is getting hung up on walls and corners it’s sort of the one button mouse of gaming. A nearly unforgivable sin since it was fixed in most games long ago. All things considered it’s a great little number I’ll be playing for years to come. -SEF

**OK! I am changing review from Negative to Positive!

THIS GAME WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE FUN IF IT ALLOWED YOU TO KEEP AND USE ALL WEAPONS IN HORDE AND SURVIVAL MODES! Too bad you can keep only one and need drop rest!**

The game is pretty fun! Actually less complex games always are more fun if they don’t stress you. Here killing hordes of Dinosaurs using different weapons does addict you a bit! The weapons are nice and Achievements are easy! 1080 of them too for Achievement Hunters. May need couple of hours maximum to achieve. You can unlock 1079 in any Horde or Survival mode map littered with multiple weapons. The one remaining Get out Of Jared Tice will unlock playing Campaign mode first 2 levels. Campaign mode is monotonous. You are in a park, keep picking weapons and kill Dinosaurs hunting Deers. Usually a mixture of small ones with one big in between. Levels keep getting bigger in size. Need see if levels ahead offer more challenge? I enjoyed the Horde/Survival mode best.

Guardians of Orion (Phase 2)

Guardians of Orion (Phase 2)

I really did once support this game and its developers. It’s true, read my old Prelude review, it’s still positive. I was heavily invested in Trek Industries' first title, Orion Prelude, having unlocked 99% of its achievements. I was happy to see an expansion of the Orion universe away from the limits imposed by Prelude’s systems, and it’s always nice to see indie devs improve upon their vision of an ideal game.

The game itself is not bad, per se. It has a good foundation, easy-to-learn mechanics and addictive gameplay. I spent many long hours, almost 300, happy to play it, eager to explore the gradually developing content and new systems. The game has lofty ambitions, and that in itself is, again, not intrinsically bad. The way the developers went about implementing the change is where crap hits the proverbial fan:

Introduction: Guardians of Orion or also previously known as just “Orion” and also “The Orion project” is a pretty interesting and ambitious game which will probably include everything from PvP and PvE to space and planet exploration in the form of individual modules. As of writing this the PvP module is the latest module which was added besides the PvE module which existed for a while.

So besides the PvP module at the moment this game is pretty much like Orion Prelude (developed by the same developers) remastered in Unreal Engine 4 except that this game features more guardians or classes with more to be added but at the same moment it is missing vehicles which might be added at some point. Now I will mention regarding the various gameplay aspects.

ORION: Prelude

ORION: Prelude

Many people asked me about the game „Orion: Dino Horde“. So I have written a review now. ^^

First I have to say that the game has just 36/100 Metascore. But the Metascore was for the game “Dino Beatdown”, not for “Orion: Dino Horde” and the game hasn’t only changed the name, its totally different now.

For many people it’s still not a good game, because of a not perfect graphic (uff.. for me the graphic looks alright – I would give for it 7/10 points. – You can take a look at my Screenshots), some bugs (really the most Shooter Multiplayer Games have bugs/glitches…) and the not so realistic weapon sounds or I DON’T KNOW WHY!

UPDATE : ORION PRELUDE

There simply aren’t enough games with dinosaurs & even fewer of these that are actually worth playing! For me, Orion: Prelude (O:P) is that rare exception. Although not much in way of a story in the game (no single player after all), there is quite a tale on how Orion came to be the game it is today…

The short version is, that O:P is an evolution of previous Orion titles, Dino Horde & Dino Beatdown originally dating back to a successful 2011 Kickstarter campaign. Although recieving early criticism (that would normally kill a game ..dead.. disappearing into obscurity), the game continued to evolve with constant updates (big & small) over the years from the developers. Spiral stuck with it! This dedication & gradual refinement of the game has resulted in an excellent first-person co-op experience, with a well rounded collection of modes, weapons, enviromental effects, vehicles & more to enjoy.

Atlantis Adventure VR

Atlantis Adventure VR

Atlantis Adventure is beyond Terrible. A really lame VR game. Now where do I begin, first off this game only goes for 20 minutes, and for a 20-minute VR game the asking price is a bit much. So who would want to pay that much money. Also there are no hand animations and reloading animations as well, and the game is so generous that you have infinite bullets, you heard me correctly Infinite Bullets. I feel the developers could’ve made the game a bit more challenging in having to reload but the fact that you’re giving unlimited ammo makes the game so much easier all you have to do is hold down the button and fire away. The only good thing about the game are the graphics despite a few bugs here and there. The enemies are meh, and the boss fights are lame. The dinosaur models look like they were ripped out of a Jurassic World game, don’t believe me take a real good look at the raptors at level one, I swear those raptors look exactly like Blue, Charlie, Delta and Echo and the T-Rex looks like the JW T-Rex, don’t people make decent dinosaur models for video games anymore. Also there’s not much AI to the enemies they just run towards you and you mow them down like a bloodthirsty killer, the developers should make the enemies more strategic, for example have raptors attack the front while the raptors ambush the player from behind. Also there were times when I glitched out of the level while fighting enemies no joke I was for some strange, unknown reason thrown outside the pre-determined path of the game and I had to restart.

My recommendation is ONLY for VR arcade centers

This Game has good potentials for VR arcades however, they need to fix the sound, it is just too scattered and you don’t know what you are hearing.

Te sound of the truck is absent

the sound of the lady speaking is absent

Background sound is noisy.. too noisy

the sound of the gun is very low

This game is just good for commercial VR arcades

360 standstill and 3 DOF not 6DOF

BUT the SOUND QUALITY IS BAD!!!!

I will refund for now until these and some other issues other reviewers will mention is fixed

Does not work, don’t waste your money. Instructions are non-existent. Shows a circle to use to teleport but no way to actually teleport. No hint of objectives or game play, they expect you to just figure it out as you go. No guides. No discussion of any kind. Until now, no user reviews to let you know how bad it is.

If there is anyway to actually play this game there are no instructions to let you know how to do so.
