Jamestown
First off, if you are interested in this game, I recommend getting Jamestown+ instead. It has two more stages and more ships.
Jamestown is a shmup with its stages primarily designed around co-op gameplay. However, enemy HP does scale so that enemies don’t become sponges if played solo. More about solo gameplay on higher difficulties later.
Jamestown doesn’t provide you with a bomb mechanic. Instead it has a hyper-like mechanic called vaunt. It will greatly increase dealt damage and create a shield which absorbs bullets upon activation. The duration of the vaunt can be increased by collecting the golden items. If it runs out, you’ll gain a significant amount of score, especially after a long vaunt. Cancelling the vaunt manually will provide you with brief invincibility and only provide you with a fraction of the score you’d get otherwise.

Titan Attacks!
Absolutely glorious remaster of the classic Space Invaders game. Innovative, advanced, and scores of fun to be had.
When aliens living on Titan, Saturn’s moon, decide to attack, they lay waste to Earth’s military forces. Well most of it. You are the last remaining Tank Commander on Earth, and you are one bad mofo. Battle your way across Earth to stop the invasion, and then you take it to the skies as you hit the Titans' outpost on the Moon, and obliterate it. Next stop, the Titans' Martian colony. They wiped out all the little green men also and need to pay. After Mars, you find yourself on Saturn, and the enemy forces are strong. But not as strong as when you reach Titan itself, taking on the nest of the alien scourge to nearly end our way of life… and the poor Martians.

Titan Attacks! is a retro, arcade, 2-D shooter where the nameless Commander fends off the Titan invasion with his trusty pixelated tank.
The game commences on Earth then progresses to new zones. Zone progression occurs when its boss is defeated. There are a total of five zones, each containing twenty levels, with their own unique design. Once all five have been defeated, it loops back to Earth, albeit with a slightly higher difficulty.
The game mechanics are fairly straightforward; aim & kill. Fortunately, that doesn’t do Titan Attacks! the justice it deserves. The mechanics conspire in such a way to exude a simple & fun experience. There are a number of boosts & improvements that can be purchased between levels to mitigate your success. For example, there are powerful area-of-effect bombs, weapon add-ons, additional shielding & more. Currency is derived from killing enemies & also capturing them. Capturing enemies adds a unique dimension to some situations, as doing so can be lethally dangerous, but extremely profitable. The Titans have a wide arsenal of ships & weapons that change in function & attitude from zone to zone, which can easily lead to your undoing if not cautious. There are bonus rounds that gauge your accuracy & reward you accordingly so keep nimble. These rounds occur between levels, after every seventh level.

Tragedy of Prince Rupert
I love this game. I like the look of it, and the soothing music, and the difficulty curve…everything is fantastic. I already bought it for one friend, and I’ll probably buy it a few more times in the near future to give to other friends as gifts. Go get Tragedy of Prince Rupert, for yourself; you won’t regret it.

EDIT: I said that the extra crew members were just cosmetic. Well, after reading a post from developer, those actually have an impact on the gameplay (they give you more HP, slow enemy bullets, etc.). But them again how can you blame me for thinking those were just cosmetic, if the game doesn’t give you ANY information?
When you first start up this game, it feels like just another Twin Stick shooter with unique art style. But actually it’s got more depth than most Twin Sticks I’ve played. You play as Prince Rupert, who’s flying a Montgolfière, that has the fastest shooting cannon in the world. You’re on your quest to prove yourself to be worthy groom for some princess and everybody else who wants to marry her is after you. And your balloon is capable of flying into space and dive 20 000 leagues under the sea. That in itself is the most awesome concept for a game I’ve seen in a while.

Mythic Zombies
This is a throwback to old school zombie shooters and challenge based gameplay, jump in a map alone or with friends and see how long you can survive. You earn points for kills, use point to re-arm and buy upgraded guns, kill more zombies, open the next section of the map and carry on killing.
This is an Early Access game in development and as such there are some bugs, missing features, content not included yet, tweaks to make and so on, so go into it with an open mind, grab some friends and heads and limbs off until they are dead or you are, it’s fun, mindless unadulterated fun.

Chuhou Joutai 2: Paraided!
I’m not familiar with Touhou games but I can see most of the stage and boss designs are reminiscent of them. Arcade difficulty gets ridiculous past stage 6.
A very charming game if and only if you’re into Touhou shooters.

the closest thing to twisted metal that exists. very good car combat game

Okay, so…
Fuck the other two games - flesh out Carnage Cross as much as humanely possible. This is the closest the Twisted Metal fan-base will ever get to a spiritual successor since Sony decided to elbow-drop Twisted Metal for good. Wait until at least 1.0 to keep working on Sanitize or Starglades.
I know some of the suggestions I’m gonna make are already on your roadmap - AND I DON’T CARE. I’ll repeat them infinitely into the fucking VOID if need be.
● ONLINE MULTIPLAYER. DO IT.
● NONE of the vehicles should have auto-aim machine guns - all of their guns should fire directly forward. Auto-aim should be either a power-up or a special ability. With that being said…
