Danger Forever
Danger Forever is hardcore 3D scroll-shooter with rogue-lite elements.
_ Lone human rides her mecha-dragon
through hostile alien world of mechanoids and techno-demons_
Unlike most scrolling shooters, you actually fly through 3D environment — use it to your advantage, and beware bumping into walls or ground.
Also, instead of traditional showering enemies with bullets, you have to think ahead a bit — fuel/heat system adds some more depth to combat.
Levels are procedurally generated — each level is slightly different every time you play it
(but it’s not totally random of course).
Energy and materials obtained during level playthrough can be used to upgrade and customize you dragon.
You also need those materials and energy to build a spaceship to fight your way out of that hostile planet.
F E A T U R E S
► Explore over 100 levels in 6 distinct regions

On higher difficulty levels you’ll encounter enemies and hazards not present on ‘normal’ or ‘easy’.
► Upgrade and customize your dragon
Abilities and weapon-modes are unlocked and upgraded for Azure and materials earned on levels.

Awsome arcade classics, on rails shooters. Had the first one on mobile and glad they are both on steam now,but just a bit of a shame they have not been updated with better graphics or remastered.
But if you like arcade games and on rails shooters, then you should love this.
Oh, and the soundtrack is cool to. 😊

You know what? This is actually pretty awesome.
Thought I’d take a gamble on it since it’s cheap and it hasn’t disappointed.
I’ve never played anything like it.
You collect for items to get cash while spending cash as ammo! Crazy!
Not a finished game by any means, but it’s early access so fair enough.
Rough and ready (as they state) but I’d highly recommend it.
Hyped for the updates - interested to see where this goes.

Salt and Sails
You are steering a “free” pirate ship. You need to use a cannon to knock out anything close, yes, anything, including small fish and bees. I didn’t expect that the little bee could threaten this big ship, I was so naive. And I believe the best Gunner of the 17th century couldn’t hit bees and fish with cannon. Whether I am too young or the game is too stupid is a serious question. But my 3-year-old nephew told me that he thought the game was boring. So I have the answer in my heart.

REVIEW
Thunder Wolves provides simplistic and explosive action in a familiar arcade style that will have you piloting combat-equipped helicopters across sandbox maps with the objective of blowing up whatever gets in your way. As an arcade game, the focus is on the action; and so: the controls are simple, the storyline elements are minimal, and the overall depth of the game falls somewhere between “puddle” and “kiddie-pool.” But it’s all good. Because it’s fun as hell. Anyone who is looking for some wild, mindless action should give Thunder Wolves strong consideration.

Thunder Wolves
Thunder Wolves is a fun lite hearted arcade flight shooter. For a dollar am surprised that his game delivers a lot of content.
For being a hearted arcady game from the early 2000s this was a pretty enjoyable experience.
Released on Steam back in 2013 by the publisher HandyGames and developed by Most Wanted Entertainment.
I really enjoy the hectic and chaotic arcade-style gameplay.

Note:
After the SGF summer contest I realized that I’m a dinosaur, over 900 demos. .. the window of time for me to make a sustainable living from indie game development has closed.
I’m going to return to driving a semi-truck.
If lightning strikes and people give a hoot, I will finish the game.
EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 4.1 WINGDIVER THE SHOOTER
EDF 4.1: Wingdiver the Shooter is an excellent shmup for those not normally into the genre, as it’s far more lenient than most arcade styled shmups. This is largely due to forgoing ‘one-hit health’ and instead sticking to the mainline EDF health system; an ever increasing health-pool that gets larger the more ‘Armor’ boxes the player collects from killing enemies.
Similar to collecting ‘Armor’, new weapons can be acquired by collecting ‘Weapon’ boxes.
Those who have played EDF 4.1 will find the Wing Diver’s arsenal to be familiar, though with effects altered to fit the gameplay style. (Note: You won’t need to rely on double Idunn’s in this game) Weapon energy management is present here as well, meaning certain weapons can quickly drain your ‘Energy Meter’ and cause you to overheat for a few seconds, rendering you unable to fight.

TL;DR: A pretty good shmup, and a pretty good distraction from EDF 4.1 too. If you’re not a shmup or a EDF fan though, it’s not the best introduction to both of these by far. Buy EDF 4.1 and you’ll most likely want to buy this one (And there’s a bundle with both, how neat!)
EDF 4.1 WINGDIVER THE SHOOTER, as the name implies, is a shoot’em’up spin-off from the EDF series which features one of the class of EDF 4.1, the Wing Divers.
Being a shmup and EDF fan, I instantly wanted to play it and a friend gifted it to me.
