Good old shooter with a new twist
The game just boots over the desktop background and you play it.
Pros:
1.Achievements are easy to get
2.A quick relaxing and challenging game.
3. Very creative and unique game by Microblast
Cons:
1.Sometimes it can be frustrating but once you get the pattern it is easier.
The price is worth the playtime you get out of the game.Its fun little game and its cheap so i recommend you to give it a try.

The game loads over whatever you have on your desktop when you launch it. I literally played this game over Youtube music videos of PewDiePie, Markiplier, etc. It’s really fun to have the game be just an overlay of your actual desktop!
It took me 2.5hrs to beat all 10 levels. 1-6 are pretty easy and you’ll be able to do them within like 20-30 minutes. From 7-9 it gets very hard, somewhere around 45 minutes for me. However level 10 alone took me over 1 hour to beat. Level 10 was ridiculously difficult, and at times downright infuriating, but I powered through! Patience is key!

Chuhou Joutai
First Look
On first appearance, I was adamant to play this game. The arcade style sold it for me, and because I’m a fan of Drillimation’s music, it added to the recommendation of playing it.
Gameplay
Similar to Touhou, the game is a bullet hell shooter that utilises the same mechanics from Touhou. However, there are some deviations to the game that gives it a unique experience.
One addition, is the advent of a health meter in game. Instead of one hit deaths, your character can take a good amount of bullets before they get KOed. While this adds to the uniqueness of the game, it dumbs down the difficulty heavily, as health can be replenished with powerups in game.

Well, I first stumbled across Chuhou Joutai on Instagram.
Chuhou Joutai is a (classic era) Touhou inspired Bullet Hell game, that does many things exactly right, but has a few issues as well.
That being said, let´s start with the good things, shall we?
The controller support is absolutely something worth mentioning here, since it is, pretty much perfect from the get go and doesn´t need any costomization, of course you can do so if desired.
The artstyle IN GAME and ost gives CJ a great atmosphere of the old Arcade (or PC98) times.

Freedom Finger
The silly and offensive art style is what drew me to this game, not the musicians or voice actors. Despite its cartoony look Freedom Finger is a proper shmup. You have a ship and you shoot enemies with plenty of bullets, enemies and walls to be dodged. The game has two unique game mechanics for a shmup namely grabbing and punching. It’s a bit unusual but it is quite fun. It allows for a lot of different ways to play a level.
Fortunately there’s no shop with upgrades for your ship, you can follow the story but also just hop into any level and start competing for the leaderboard. If you want an upgrade go grab an enemy ship!

Starship Turd Nugget: Too Cool For Stool
After playing this game for a moderate amount of time, I can say as a fact. I am now “Too Cool For Stool”.
This game is quick and easy and great for passing time.

Weird Hero
I regret buying this game. The game is extremely annoying hence most weapons one shot you, and it’s stupidly difficult even on Wimp. All of your guns suck besides the Triple-Barrel Shotgun. Most of the enemies are annoying, mainly slowing you down, not creating a challenge. Shooting (and killing) enemies is supposed to be fun, not a lifeless chore.
Not to mention the game only has 4 levels. (Level 5 is just endless survival from what I know, you die once you run out of shield), take another 2D shooter game, like Metroid. Samus’s rockets have a constant trajectory, and it’s fun to shoot down an enemy in your way. Or Contra, Bill has many weapons that are satisfying to shoot and collect. Weird Hero is unique. It has NONE of that. You’ll play it for 10 hours and never play it again. It’s not worth the money. Don’t get this game unless you’re getting it for free.

Visually not bad, it have it’s charm, I also like humor, strange weapons and enemies but whole gameplay is horrible, platforming is believably stiff, unresponsive and clunky this lead to so much frustration and in the end ruin whole experience, definitely not worth it, there are literally hundreds better platformers.

Cybxus Heart
Nice tiny bullet-hell. Nothing groundbreaking, but fine and neat. The game is quite hardcore at high difficulty levels.

It’s a good time killer but not really deep because it doesnt need to be. If you enjoy shooters, memes and/or silliness than by all means pick this one up. My only complaint is that there isnt a definitive “end” to the game- it just loops over and over with increased difficulty. If they added a story mode keeping with the ridiculously funny and over the top premise I think it could be even better, but as it is its still fun to play and worth buying.

Glorkian Warrior: The Trials Of Glork
This is a fine Shm’up (or a Shoot & Jump’em up?) if you like it wacky. The gameplay is a bit random, but it’s fine if you are after some casual fun. Sometimes you get really strong weapons and easy enemies, the next time you get a lot of rocks and astro litter (yes, the game is wacky).
To be honest, I really glork this game and played it quite a bit. However, the randomness, or the lack of balancing, makes it impossible to take this game seriously or play it on a pro-level. There are some tactics
! like waiting before you collect crackers and weapons/upgrades - avoid certain weapons (like the Flarf) using flame spitters to generate gold crackers and get energy out of not needed equipment, and such - but ultimately you cannot fully control your own fate and you will struggle with the weak design (like angrymons take too many hits, often you get big waves of them that deplete all your energy and weapons - and then you have to start from scratch, meteor/tetris storm often break your killing spree and deplete your energy, etc, some guns consume energy too quickly, like the Flarf, or too week like the Twisty gun) and even bugs/inconsistencies (e.g. the camera view is very often not perfect, and a lot of things happen off-screen, sometimes a hit takes more or less of your hearts (but maybe the invaders are also using weapons with power mods, who knows). I am rambling because I would like to see this game in a line with some of the great invaders-like Shm’ups - but it just does not have what it takes.

As a fan of James Kochalka’s comics and records, I had to get this and I am glad it turned out to be be pretty good.
Glorkian Warrior is Space Invaders style shooter with autofire and a jump button. Instead of fixed levels, the games randomizes the successive waves of aliens as well as various other elements such as the ground you stand on or side challenges handed over by a pair of bossy sisters.
Enemies drop power-ups as expected and they are sorely needed as your default laser is slow and weak. The rare moments when you’re stuck with your default with no upgrades in sight feel a bit underwhelming.
