Hardwork Simulator
That didn’t work for me. I got caught and got fired for it. They put a younger, prettier assistant in my place. But I doubt she types as fast as I do. They were the ones who lost

On the one hand, I really want to give the game a thumbs up for a creative and somewhat neat idea for a really cheap price.
On the other hand, though, I really must give it a thumbs down for not offering much at all, even at this price level plus thirty percent off; because in the end, cheap does just not justify bland.
I do enjoy any just semi-rewarding grinding game for a while, but looking at the short time invested here, I had rather counted cars drive by my window - even if the game had been for free. Where the game mechanics in any way challenging or rewarding, it would be a different story. However, it is random key bashing in it’s dullest form.

Sierra Ops - Space Strategy Visual Novel
Update after episode 2
This first episode is good but also very very very short. Might be one of the shortest I ever tried. It has an interesting sci-fi setting and introduces the characters but doesnt let you get to know them since you barely get a few lines. It also makes use of flash backs as the main characters clearly has mental wound attached to past incidents. Battle system is ok and unusual for a VN but not too hard to figure it out. The design of characters seems to fit a game like this quite well. Overall it got me interested to see next episode and decide if its good enough to get the season pass.

I won’t lie, this barely tips the needle into recommend rather than neutral. Sierra Ops is basically a visual novel with a light fleet command and time management mechanic attached to it. I think the issue I have with it is that none of the component parts of terribly good. They aren’t BAD, but in trying to cram all of that in here they’ve cut a few corners on each section. Battles are a mixed bag of good, bad, and frustrating. I like a lot of things there but you have to go through so much story to get to them… and when it turns out they’re one the token five minutes and done type battles that can be frustrating. Not to mention the difficulties of introducing various new mechanics and ideas with that pacing. There’s a similar problem with upgrading your ship, by the end of chapter 2 there’s still not that much to choose yet. On the visual novel side the story is… it has potential but I don’t want to give it too much praise or condemnation yet. It’s not completely sold me so far, in either plot or execution, but I have to admit there are some good foundations here and it could make me eat those words in future chapters.

Super Retro Fighter
This review is not final as the game is still in Early Access (v 0.9.7 beta at the time of the review). It may change to a positive review, depending on future changes, rebalancing and additions and I do believe that it has the potential to become a very fun game.
Super Retro Fighter is an individual stages vertizontal shmup that is intentionally designed to be frustrating. So far, it only has one mode. While it’s called Arcade Mode, it lets you select an individual stage to take on. You unlock one after another and gain upgrade points based on your performance that you can spend on extra ships, bombs and shot power. These will certainly aid you but the trial and error remains.

Really fun game. It has an 80’s retro vibe to the music which is pretty awesome.
There is 3 ships to choose from and each one is unique for different guns to accomodate different playstyles.
Some stages that can get pretty frustrating but at least you can stage select to retry same stage as often as you want.
Also, there is a system to make your ship stronger , buy more lives, etc.
Controls: It feels responsive using a gamepad.
I use a Dual Shock 4 wired with USB cable and game recognizes at a PS4 controller.

Kooring VR Wonderland:Mecadino’s Attack
Fun and cute, but I must say contents of game is bit lacking. I hope the dev adds more stages as DLC: I would like to buy it!

I prefer casual games, so when I saw the screenshot of ‘Kooring Wonderland VR’ I thought it would suit my taste and downloaded it. I liked the protagonist character, but the rabbit-like guys who appeared as monsters were so cute that I had a lot of fun while playing the game. The games surprisingly had a good hit satisfaction, and the overall operation was intuitive, so there is no burden in enjoying the games with children. There is a lot of possibility for a sequel, so if it becomes a series, I think I will be able to enjoy the games again.

Brother Wings
I personally purchased this game. I reviewed it for my 99 Cent Gaming series.
Being a big lover of all things SHMUPs I couldn’t wait to take this game on for my first impression series. I was really afraid I’d be unfair in my review due to this love but decided I would give it my best go. Somehow, I still came away from this highly disappointed.
For starters, Time Attack mode does not work as described. Selecting this mode did not show any timer and no indicator that you were nearing the required number of enemies to reset it. At first I thought Infinity Mode was selected by accident. It wasn’t. To make sure I even played Time Attack mode without killing any enemies for a couple of minutes with no consequence.

Let’s talk about promising games …
Brother Wings came as a cheap and simple game, a good way to acquire letter and achievements in the steam, however with the passing of the updates it is a commitment of the developer of the game to offer better and more complete content.
Yes we have a simple game and without many technical challenges, but I think this is a great request for those who have little time between their day to day tasks, as well as for those who have to wait for the loading screens of the big games . In addition we have an artistic dedication explendida in the development of the game.
